Gino Jennings was born the fourth of eight siblings on February 10, 1963. Both his parents were ministerial clergy leaders at his father's uncle's church in Philadelphia. His father known as Ernest Jennings was a bishop and at the age of thirteen, after preaching his first sermon from Hebrews 11:6, the young Gino was appointed as an assistant pastor of the church in 1975.As a teenager, after claiming the baptism of the Holy Ghost, he began preaching regularly under the tutelage of his father and great-uncle, and also began evangelizing at revivals and crusades at other churches around the city of Philadelphia with his parents.
In 1976-1978 when he was around the age of 15 he began preaching controversial sermons against the by-laws and doctrines of his great-uncle's teaching, much to his great-uncle's anger and dismay. After graduating from high school in 1981, he began preaching against his great-uncle's liberal stances on Christian sanctification, holiness, and modesty in behavior, and clothing. He began preaching that the church and those in church leadership need to have stricter and more scripture-based, conservative standards for such concepts. He also began preaching Nontrinitarian views, stating that he believed the Trinity perspective of God was false, and began preaching a distinct, Non-Trinitarian form of Modalistic Monarchianism. He also began preaching against and criticizing the stances and viewpoints that many people were starting to take within the church at the time. His great-uncle then temporarily suspended him of his ministerial duties, and made him take a one-year sabbatical leave of absence from preaching in the church. When he was finally given the opportunity to preach again, he told his great-uncle that he refused to back down from any of his viewpoints and teachings. Finally in 1984, at the age of 21, after going through repetitive cycles of being suspended from his ministerial duties and being forced to take sabbaticals from preaching, Jennings, his parents and his siblings left their great-uncle's church.
He started the First Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. (FCOOLJC) on May 21, 1984 in the basement of his family home, starting out with only 15 members.

The chapter isn't about Deborah. She was sent to battle and was a judge not by her calling but by God due to the men not being in their appropriate place. I agree when woman become leaders over men it is humiliating, and creates weakness. I'm not against woman as preachers (although I personally am not comfortable with them being my Pastor); they have to have a man covering. The fault lies with men who used their position for their own sexual pleasures and financial gain. Most woman lead churches are due to church hurt and the woman no longer trusting men pastora yet they want to worship and feel safe from pastor, deacon, and truatee's who are male. Woman are more willing to submit and support the church financially than men.
It's not complicated. It is not about "women preachers." It is about headship.
The head of the woman is man, the head of man is Christ, and the head of Christ is God.
Would Christ presume to become head over his Father? Would a man presume to become head over Christ? So why would a woman presume to become head over men?
Preachers are headship positions. This is God's arrangement.

Only Satan would attempt to discourage people, men and women, from spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. If there are no men available or willing to lead then what are the people supposed to do? Under the New Covenant God pours out His heart to ‘All’ flesh. All means all, including men and women. There’s nothing in the ‘New Testament’ scriptures which say that women are prohibited from spreading the word. In fact, even under the ‘Old Testament’ a Samaritan woman ‘at the well’ went to tell the people at a town about Jesus. Then, then ‘the men’ went to see for themselves.
@@vicking8849 That’s true under the Old Testament, however, under the ‘New Covenant’ women can spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. How can the gospel word get to the gentiles if there’s no men available or willing?
Women can spread the gospel by sharing and being evangelist. However, again women are not called to teach men. Elders are referred to in the Bible as a man that has one wife. Last time I checked a woman could not have a wife. The issue is a role of teaching, women can not instruct men as a spiritual leader. Everything in the Old Testament has not be negated due to Christ birth and death. Again, women are not called to lead and teach men.
@@vicking8849 unfortunately you might want study longer to understand the glories of God, His mercies, His relationship. Women rear their children both girls and boys. Teaching their children the knowledge of the Lord so that can follow them ‘all the days of their lives.’ There’s nowhere in the Bible which states that a woman cannot preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Especially when there’s no men available nor willing to do such. In (Isaiah 52:7) he speaks about the feet of ‘him’ who brings the good news. But, that’s under the old covenant, the Old Testament. Under the Old Testament God said He will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh(Joel 2:28). And in the New Testament it repeats that God pours out His Spirit upon ‘ALL’ flesh(Acts 2:17). If there’s no men to spread the word or willing to spread the word then ask yourself why deny a woman to spread the word, only Satan would want the people ignorant of the gospel of Jesus Christ, withheld by the knowledge.

Deborah also said, that a man should lead them. But they refused. So she stood up and did God's will.
God is going to ask a man first to lead. Because he's the priesthood. He's supposed to be the head. But if he refuses God's going to get his work done. He's going to get his Glory.
Is she is judgess or prophetess she must enforce Gods words which is preaching.

God uses men an women to spread the gospel. This is why you have to read scriptures for yourself and allow the Holy spirit to minister to you about the significance of that scripture.

Oooh also she was a judge. One of the most sovereign, as well as a generals consultant to the point he wouldn't go into war without her. Yes we're called to have quiet spirits as women but when it comes to God's righteous kingdom we're the ones seemingly on fire during these uncertain times. Man was called to be the sprliritual leader of the household. Unfortunately man has cowered to his duties, so women will rise up to take that role. In the carnal world, men say "she's the boss"; i have to ask my wife firsr; my wife said " we should do this" Men need to rise up as leaders... If a women is a good leader in the church, so be it, but that is no excuse for man not to be the leader!!

I’m so glad I know truth, I’m under a woman Pastor and when I tell you, I know God has called het. Ive seen her live it, preach it and show the love of Christ, operate in the power of God, speaking the truth in love. My foundation is Jesus and I’m so glad for her and our late Pastor Dr Mary Austin-Jones. I remember when Dr Mary said how people kept telling her God ain’t called no woman, so she went into her prayer closet and told God I’m not coming out until you tell me what to do, she prayed and sought the face of God, then He spoke and said I have called you, I have called you and she said Lord that’s all I need to hear. She came out that closet and went full force for God, casting out demons, laying hands on the sick, healings deliverances the power and glory of God would manifest in our services. It was an awesome time learning and building a foundation on Jesus the Christ. She walked in the prophetic and God used her mightily even in the community before she went to be with the Lord. God uses whom so ever He will. Thank you Jesus
Amen. This guy is ridiculous. I'm not saying he's not doing some good but I've seen a lot of his videos now and he literally twists verses WAY out of context. Plus he's always angry and loud....Jesus was always gentle and compassionate when HE taught. Yes we should condemn and hate sin but yelling at people about it constantly is not what we should be occupied with.
God can use and does use women preachers, but the word of god does exempt women from overseeing the church of the lord jesus christ because of the deception of eve.

Well, God can use anybody, but the stipulation is that there ought not to be any women overseers because Eve was disobedient by being deceived by the serpent (devil).

It's the spirit of God that TEACHES. It's neither male nor female in the kingdom of GOD. But we are all one in Christ Jesus. Jesus being the Shepherd over us all.
I will say this, this man needs to have a church in every city, in every state because if the males who are supposed to be of God were in place, would God have to call women? How many male "preachers" have been outed for inappropriate relationships with other men, women outside of their marriage and/or violating children in the past 2 months alone. That's just those that we've heard about. God will use, who He chooses to use, in whatever way that He chooses.
In the bible man used the women's beauty to get himself in position. Abram used his wife so he wouldn't get killed but gained a lot of riches. Malicah did it to Ester.
In the bible it just shows women are just jazebels, a man's sin or a Savior. More of a sinner then a Savior. But let man tell it that's our worth as being less than then equal to. Same as what man do as dressing up as women. The beauty of a women can get a man further then a man standing on his own. The first evangelist in the Bible was a women : Jesus told Mary to “Go tell my brethren I Have Risen …” And women KNOW the Word. Been studying the word most of my adult life. I’m 74. Praise The Lord.

The Bible’s says it plain just be obedient in God’s words. What’s so hard about it? Everyone wants to twist the Scripture to please themselves. I will obey the scripture as it is. I am not here to please myself, or anybody but my savior Lord Jesus Christ only. I don’t care how anybody feels about it because the Lord God Jesus Christ I will serve him only, his words and he is the only one God I will die for.
Preaching the gospel and being the authority of a congregation can be two different things. At least check results, who did God give authority to?
I still don’t see where these scriptures pertain to what he is saying though. Somebody help me because I went backwards and read ahead. I don’t see it. Where does it warn about women in authority?

So that verse is for those that follows any Leadership/Preacher/Pastor that is misleading their followers through error. women are not supposed to be preachers so that’s an error…So if you keep follow ship under a women preacher/pastor you will end up believing a woman can be a preacher when they are not supposed to.
Yes is given to a woman to prophesy to simply tell an event that’s going to happen and she has to tell the event as the Holy Spirit has shown her that it and she has to do it according to the scripture cause the word of God said women should learn in quiet spirit and obedience even then she is not loud to be boasting like a Man. Now I'm going to show you a couple scriptures that CONDEMN women teaching God's Word, how they are not permitted to speak in church, and what they are to do if they want to know something. So follow me...
(1 Timothy 2:11) KJV
¹¹ Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
¹² But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
¹³ For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
¹⁴ And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
In verse (11), women are to learn and receive instruction in religious matter from men in silence with all submission.
In verse (12), women are not permitted to teach. Not to "usurp authority over the man" means to not exercise authority over another. The authority here is to "teach", in which that authority belongs to the man and not the woman. When a woman pretends to exercise authority over the man, she arrogates a power which "does not" belong to her. This is why she is to learn in silence.
Now, verse (13) and (14) tells us who is the "head" and then tells us the reason "why" women do not have the authority to teach!
In verse (13), it tells us that "Adam was formed first, then Eve". This means that the man (Adam) is the head and chief, then the woman (Eve). (1 Corinthians 11:3) tells us that the "head of every woman is the man". And (1 Corinthians 11:8-9) tells us that the woman is "of" the man and created "for" the man and not the other way around!

⁹ Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
Continuing in verse (14) in Timothy, it tells us that "Adam was not deceived", meaning the serpent did not attempt to deceive Adam. But he attacked the woman, knowing her to be the weaker of the two. Eve did not deceive Adam, but persuaded him to eat of the tree and he did so in affection to her because the woman was given to him for a companion and help. (Genesis 3:13).
Then after telling us that Adam, being the man, was not deceived, "the woman being deceived fell into the transgression (sin)". It was the "woman" (Eve) who was "first" in sin. For this is the reason why the man is the "head" over the woman and the women are to submit to their husbands. This is also why verse (12) showed us why a woman should not have authority over the man and why she is not to teach. A woman is more easily deceived, and more easily deceives.
Now we will take a look at another "book" and scripture that CONDEMNS a woman to teach and that she is to remain silent in church. Also, you will see what a woman is to do if she wants to know or learn something.
(1 Corinthians 14:34-35) KJV
³⁴ Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
³⁵ And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
In verse (34), during church meetings, women are not permitted to speak, but to be silent. Not being permitted to speak is pertaining to the "authority" to "teach" and explain scripture about the Word of God as commanded in (1 Timothy 2:12). Being that the authority to teach belongs to the man, women cannot step into that authority "over the man" because this office belongs to the man, and the man is the head over the women. Therefore, she would be in violation of this "order" due to the woman, Eve, being deceived by the serpent and becoming disobedient to God and falling into sin.
Women are to be silent unless they have an extraordinary revelation to communicate, made to them by the Holy Spirit to prophesy. And prophesying is NOT preaching/teaching. Prophesying is predicting or is the fore telling of a future event or something the Holy Spirit moved on a person to rely or what is to take place. Women are not to try to explain scripture, that would be teaching. Women are to prophesy and say what the Lord moved on that woman to say and that's it.
So continuing on in verse (34), it tells us that women are "commanded to be under obedience", which tells us that women being under obedience not to teach and to keep silent, is a "Commandment" of the Lord. And anything that's a commandment is an "order". Paul makes this clear in verse (37); (1 Corinthians 14:37).
"To be under obedience" is commanding for women to be obedient to the fact that the man is the head over the woman, and women are to submit to their husbands and the husband "rules over them" (1 Corinthians 11:3). This was explained to Eve by God after her disobedience in the Garden of Eden in (Genesis 3:16).

“Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."
(Ephesians 5:22-24)

For women "to be under obedience" is to submit to the superior authority of the man, whose proper office it is to lead and to instruct the congregation.
Still in the same verse in (1 Corinthians 14:34), when it says the women are commanded to be under obedience, "as also saith the law", means "as" it was commanded in the Old Testament church for women to be submissive to their husbands, it is "so" likewise in the New Testament church. Same rule and order still applies. So women are not to try to have the authority that is given to the man, but to be obedient and obey their place as "commanded" by the Lord.
In the next verse, verse (35) of (1 Corinthians 14:35), it's pretty much self explanatory. So because women are commanded to be silent in the churches and are to be subject to a superior authority, if they want to know, inquire about anything or have a question pertaining to the Word of God, they are to "ask their husbands at home" because women are not permitted to speak in the church. Scripture tells us in (1 Peter 3:4) that women are to have a "meek and quiet spirit", and that this modesty is the woman's greatest ornament in the sight of God.

In conclusion, women are not to teach, lead, and be in that position of authority "over the man". And the reason the man is the head over the women is because of what took place in the Garden of Eden when Eve, being the "woman", was the first to fall into sin as a result of being deceived by the serpent and ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil as it was forbidden by God. The difference is, Adam, being the man, was not deceived, but instead he was "persuaded" by Eve to eat as well. That's difference. Eve was deceived and Adam was persuaded by Eve to eat after she had already done so. Although Adam fell into sin as well after eating the forbidden fruit, Eve being the woman, fell into sin "first". This is why the man is the "head" and women are to "submit" to the head and be obedient and not step into an authority that's given to the "man". I guess it may be fair to say, "blame" Eve for her disobedience and the authority that women are NOT permitted to have. So, no women preachers are allowed because preaching is teaching God's Word. When you preach you are teaching.

Somebody help me because I don’t see where this correlates to the scriptures. I get what was said in the Bible and I do not follow under a woman preacher myself. I tried to read ahead and previous to this scripture, but where does this pertain to being under a woman Pastor. And I’m just ask where so don’t jump on me.

Women cannot have authority over a church. Coming up to the podium means you are being HEARD and you are given AUTHORITY. This isn’t an authority given to woman pertaining to 1 Timothy 2:12. Stop debating GOD. That doesn’t mean that women can’t preach the gospel of Jesus Christ out, and about to the lost center. We all have been given that command to preach the gospel, those of us who have been given the Holy Spirit as born-again believers. When that happens to us. We are given the responsibility to minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We’re not all given the authority to run a church. Just like when the Bible says the Holy Spirit is giving some this gift and others that gift. All or not given the gift. Just like all are not give them the gift of speaking in tongues, like some pastors lie about saying that everybody can speak in tongues. And even the Bible says at one point in Corinthians that speaking in tongues will be done away with. When you speak in tongues, you are speaking prophecy and we no longer need prophecy today, because all prophecies that have been written, and that will happen have been written already. The book of prophecies are closed. If you hear any new prophecy today, it is a lie. There is nothing new under the sun, the same thing for women in authority in churches, that is something the Bible speaks against.

Please look at the preceding verses. They speak of a prophet who teaches lies. The lies taught causes the people to err.Those following them will be destroyed.
This verse does not single out gender. A prophet can be a male or female. We see this in the Scriptures.

So (Isaiah 9:17) and verse (16) itself is dealing with those who do not have the authority to 'lead' or to teach the Word of God. Pastor Gino Jennings is correct, but the reason why you didn't get the understanding in this particular clip was because, one, this clip is just a snippet and not the whole sermon, therefore in this clip the verse 'before' verse (17) wasn't read, which was verse (16). Furthermore, there is 'another' scripture in this same book that harmonizes with (Isaiah 9:16-17) and that's (Isaiah 3:12), that would give you a broader understanding of how it is dealing with women "leading", and that this authority doesn't belong to the woman. I will try to explain it to help you see that Pastor Jennings is right. 😏
Let's look at (Isaiah 3:12) FIRST...
(Isaiah 3:12)
“As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.”
This scripture tells us that in the time of Jerusalem, the "women" was "ruling over them" and led the people to err (lead them astray or into sin and danger). The phrase, "O my people", shows strong displeasure about women ruling. Women who rule or take the authority to lead, lead people into sin and turn them from the right way. Women are not to have that authority over the man.
So the verse that Pastor Jennings didn't read, or maybe they did and this is just a short, cut off clip, was verse (16) of (Isaiah 9:16) that harmonizes with the scripture I just gave you, (Isaiah 3:12). So let's look at (Isaiah 9:16 and verse 17) and you'll see how it harmonizes with (Isaiah 3:12)
(Isaiah 9:16-17)
¹⁶ For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
¹⁷ Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Notice it says "For the leaders of this people...". So it's telling you in verse (16) just like back in (Isaiah 3:12) about women who "lead", they "cause them to err" (to fall into sin), and "they that are led of them are destroyed", meaning 'lead the wrong way'. This is why woman are not permitted to 'teach' or to 'lead'. I'll tell you why women are not permitted to do so in a moment with scripture.
Now in the verse (17) in (Isaiah 9:17) , what Pastor Jennings read was an expression of God's anger and what He will do because of this error. And if you look at verse (17), the leaders are being called a "hypocrite and an evildoer" and that they speak "folly" (lies) because of this.
Now that I harmonized (Isaiah 3:12) and (Isaiah 9:16-17), are you getting the understanding you didn't get when you watched the video clip, that women leading and being in authority is an error. 😏 I'm giving you a broader explanation. It's just that you couldn't see what he was saying with just that one verse that they read in the video clip.
Now I'm going to show you a couple scriptures that CONDEMN women teaching God's Word, how they are not permitted to speak in church, and what they are to do if they want to know something. So follow me...
(1 Timothy 2:11) KJV
¹¹ Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
¹² But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
¹³ For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
¹⁴ And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
In verse (11), women are to learn and receive instruction in religious matter from men in silence with all submission.
In verse (12), women are not permitted to teach. Not to "usurp authority over the man" means to not exercise authority over another. The authority here is to "teach", in which that authority belongs to the man and not the woman. When a woman pretends to exercise authority over the man, she arrogates a power which "does not" belong to her. This is why she is to learn in silence.
Now, verse (13) and (14) tells us who is the "head" and then tells us the reason "why" women do not have the authority to teach!
In verse (13), it tells us that "Adam was formed first, then Eve". This means that the man (Adam) is the head and chief, then the woman (Eve). (1 Corinthians 11:3) tells us that the "head of every woman is the man". And (1 Corinthians 11:8-9) tells us that the woman is "of" the man and created "for" the man and not the other way around!

⁸ For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
⁹ Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
Continuing in verse (14) in Timothy, it tells us that "Adam was not deceived", meaning the serpent did not attempt to deceive Adam. But he attacked the woman, knowing her to be the weaker of the two. Eve did not deceive Adam, but persuaded him to eat of the tree and he did so in affection to her because the woman was given to him for a companion and help. (Genesis 3:13).
Then after telling us that Adam, being the man, was not deceived, "the woman being deceived fell into the transgression (sin)". It was the "woman" (Eve) who was "first" in sin. For this is the reason why the man is the "head" over the woman and the women are to submit to their husbands. This is also why verse (12) showed us why a woman should not have authority over the man and why she is not to teach. A woman is more easily deceived, and more easily deceives.
Now we will take a look at another "book" and scripture that CONDEMNS a woman to teach and that she is to remain silent in church. Also, you will see what a woman is to do if she wants to know or learn something.
(1 Corinthians 14:34-35) KJV
³⁴ Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
³⁵ And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
In verse (34), during church meetings, women are not permitted to speak, but to be silent. Not being permitted to speak is pertaining to the "authority" to "teach" and explain scripture about the Word of God as commanded in (1 Timothy 2:12). Being that the authority to teach belongs to the man, women cannot step into that authority "over the man" because this office belongs to the man, and the man is the head over the women. Therefore, she would be in violation of this "order" due to the woman, Eve, being deceived by the serpent and becoming disobedient to God and falling into sin.
Women are to be silent unless they have an extraordinary revelation to communicate, made to them by the Holy Spirit to prophesy. And prophesying is NOT preaching/teaching. Prophesying is predicting or is the fore telling of a future event or something the Holy Spirit moved on a person to rely or what is to take place. Women are not to try to explain scripture, that would be teaching. Women are to prophesy and say what the Lord moved on that woman to say and that's it.
So continuing on in verse (34), it tells us that women are "commanded to be under obedience", which tells us that women being under obedience not to teach and to keep silent, is a "Commandment" of the Lord. And anything that's a commandment is an "order". Paul makes this clear in verse (37); (1 Corinthians 14:37).
"To be under obedience" is commanding for women to be obedient to the fact that the man is the head over the woman, and women are to submit to their husbands and the husband "rules over them" (1 Corinthians 11:3). This was explained to Eve by God after her disobedience in the Garden of Eden in (Genesis 3:16).
(Genesis 3:16)
“Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."
(Ephesians 5:22-24)
²² Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
²³ For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
²⁴ Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
For women "to be under obedience" is to submit to the superior authority of the man, whose proper office it is to lead and to instruct the congregation.
Still in the same verse in (1 Corinthians 14:34), when it says the women are commanded to be under obedience, "as also saith the law", means "as" it was commanded in the Old Testament church for women to be submissive to their husbands, it is "so" likewise in the New Testament church. Same rule and order still applies. So women are not to try to have the authority that is given to the man, but to be obedient and obey their place as "commanded" by the Lord.
In the next verse, verse (35) of (1 Corinthians 14:35), it's pretty much self explanatory. So because women are commanded to be silent in the churches and are to be subject to a superior authority, if they want to know, inquire about anything or have a question pertaining to the Word of God, they are to "ask their husbands at home" because women are not permitted to speak in the church. Scripture tells us in (1 Peter 3:4) that women are to have a "meek and quiet spirit", and that this modesty is the woman's greatest ornament in the sight of God.

“But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.”
In conclusion, women are not to teach, lead, and be in that position of authority "over the man". And the reason the man is the head over the women is because of what took place in the Garden of Eden when Eve, being the "woman", was the first to fall into sin as a result of being deceived by the serpent and ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil as it was forbidden by God. The difference is, Adam, being the man, was not deceived, but instead he was "persuaded" by Eve to eat as well. That's difference. Eve was deceived and Adam was persuaded by Eve to eat after she had already done so. Although Adam fell into sin as well after eating the forbidden fruit, Eve being the woman, fell into sin "first". This is why the man is the "head" and women are to "submit" to the head and be obedient and not step into an authority that's given to the "man". I guess it may be fair to say, "blame" Eve for her disobedience and the authority that women are NOT permitted to have. So, no women preachers are allowed because preaching is teaching God's Word. When you preach you are teaching.

Even though we call them missionaries, they are actually doing the work of an evangelist and since Ephesians 4:11, 12 state's a five fold ministry appointed by the Lord, apostle's, prophets, evangelists, pastor's and teacher's for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, our term missionary is a God appointed ministry of evangelism.
Of course there are ministries that are not classified in a leadership role they are as equally important such as helps ministry, we also have intercessors in the church.
Your calling in the local church assembly is appointed by God, and as members of the body of Christ, we work together until he comes.
Sometimes when i listen to Paster Jennings i cringe inside cause i know I'm not doing what the bible says to do. But he is always right!

The bible says you will not be recognised. Don't be disobedient to the very word of God of whom you claim to serve. The wrath of God is stored up for the disobedient, written multiple times in Scripture.

He isn’t following the spirit of God if the Spirit of God led him to 1 Timothy 2:12 AND GAVE HIM TRUTH. Think about it generally, man was never out in this earth to follow woman. I’m not trying to sound chauvinist, but giving facts. In every area in the Bible, a man was always put in authority or over the woman, starting with the home. Look who had authority over most of the godly kingdoms under God. It doesn’t matter what other kingdoms did that were not under God because they didn’t do things the right way naturally check the results all over the world look at most of the big corporations. They are all ran by men. I don’t see any women who know their rule, trying to take over any of those corporations to become CEO.

What Brother Jennings is saying could be questioned. Deborah in the old Testament was a prophetess. She also lead and judged Israel. Read the 4th Chapter of Judges.

So (Isaiah 9:17) and verse (16) itself is dealing with those who do not have the authority to 'lead' or to teach the Word of God. Pastor Gino Jennings is correct, but the reason why you didn't get the understanding in this particular clip was because, one, this clip is just a snippet and not the whole sermon, therefore in this clip the verse 'before' verse (17) wasn't read, which was verse (16). Furthermore, there is 'another' scripture in this same book that harmonizes with (Isaiah 9:16-17) and that's (Isaiah 3:12), that would give you a broader understanding of how it is dealing with women "leading", and that this authority doesn't belong to the woman. I will try to explain it to help you see that Pastor Jennings is right. 😏
Let's look at (Isaiah 3:12) FIRST...
(Isaiah 3:12)
“As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.”
This scripture tells us that in the time of Jerusalem, the "women" was "ruling over them" and led the people to err (lead them astray or into sin and danger). The phrase, "O my people", shows strong displeasure about women ruling. Women who rule or take the authority to lead, lead people into sin and turn them from the right way. Women are not to have that authority over the man.
So the verse that Pastor Jennings didn't read, or maybe they did and this is just a short, cut off clip, was verse (16) of (Isaiah 9:16) that harmonizes with the scripture I just gave you, (Isaiah 3:12). So let's look at (Isaiah 9:16 and verse 17) and you'll see how it harmonizes with (Isaiah 3:12)

¹⁶ For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
¹⁷ Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Notice it says "For the leaders of this people...". So it's telling you in verse (16) just like back in (Isaiah 3:12) about women who "lead", they "cause them to err" (to fall into sin), and "they that are led of them are destroyed", meaning 'lead the wrong way'. This is why woman are not permitted to 'teach' or to 'lead'. I'll tell you why women are not permitted to do so in a moment with scripture.
Now in the verse (17) in (Isaiah 9:17) , what Pastor Jennings read was an expression of God's anger and what He will do because of this error. And if you look at verse (17), the leaders are being called a "hypocrite and an evildoer" and that they speak "folly" (lies) because of this.
Now that I harmonized (Isaiah 3:12) and (Isaiah 9:16-17), are you getting the understanding you didn't get when you watched the video clip, that women leading and being in authority is an error. 😏 I'm giving you a broader explanation. It's just that you couldn't see what he was saying with just that one verse that they read in the video clip.
