How can you preach the Gospel with out the Cross?! Unless its a false Gospel. Its all about Jesus our Lord and Savior. I, a SINNER desperately needed Jesus and would 'burn' without him. I only want HIS Gospel.
There would be no hope without Jesus in the picture.
The gospel is the DBR of the Lord Jesus Christ !!!

Thanks, so much, Pastor Yankee. The simplicity of the glorious Good news of the DBR of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Salvation by faith alone in His Finished work alone. The ransom price was paid in full, once for ALL, forever. John 19:30, Hebrews 10:10-14.
Amen! The clear gospel ALWAYS includes the cross! Without the cross, there would be no eternal life.

I really like your interpretation of John 16:8. It aligns well with the fact that the Apostle Paul referenced the judgement to come when evangelizing:
Acts 24:25 KJV
25 And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
1 Corinthians 1:18
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
To have no cross and have no gospel proves why its foolishness to them that perish.
Mark 1:15
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus is definitely the truth of the gospel since He is the Way the Truth and the Life as well.

Someone can believe the gospel that Jesus died for their sins, was buried, and rose again the third day, BUT if they believe in any forms of works salvation or that salvation can be lost, they won't get saved. Yes, preaching the cross is important so that people know why they need to be saved, but the bullseye is to get them to believe they have eternal life (OSAS) by the grace of Jesus Christ, not by their own righteousness, which is of the law. Gonna post verses below:

Excuse me, I need help, something is bothering me, can you please expose the FALSE teaching called disobedience believers who are rebelling against their heavenly Father especially the ones who rebel against him so much will be less happy, less joy, less bliss, less paradise, little bit of comfort only but not a lot, rest but not enough etc AFTER disobedience believers enter into the kingdom of heaven for eternity like what Matthew 7:21 KJV mentions before people get deceived into this FALSE teaching?
Pastor Yankee don't fall into being legalistic about the Gospel.Paul says in Ephesians 1:13 KJV that they HEARD the gospel of their salvation and they BELIEVED on Jesus Christ to be sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. People should ofcourse know about the gospel but it's Jesus Christ who they believe to be saved not the DBR.
and what is it that they "heard" ? I don't think its legalistic at all for people to understand who Christ is and what He has done so that they may believe.
Rom 3:25 kjv - 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through FAITH IN HIS BLOOD, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Something to consider.
Also Eph 1:13 kjv - 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
it reads they believed the gospel.
This crossless gospel that throws out the DBR has been going around I see. Wonder what heresy next month brings lol

It sounds like you are a Calvinist who is diminishing the death, burial and resurrection.
You are not saved.
