American Airlines Boeing 777-223 (ER) Takeoff From St. John’s

On May 19, 2024, American Airlines Flight 56, a Boeing 777-223 (ER) heading from Miami to London Heathrow, diverted to St. John’s. American sent a replacement aircraft in from New York JFK to ferry passengers on the diverted flight to New York. As the diverted flight landed very early in the morning, I wasn’t able to swing by YYT to capture it, but I did manage to get the departure of the replacement aircraft. I would like to apologize for the power lines in the way; as you may have been able to tell, I was very exited. 😀

She did. Newfoundland was one of her wishlist places to visit so at least she got to see a small piece of it.
