Girls shouldn’t have to be embarrassed about carrying around period products or asking for them there is no need to hide them, periods are a part of our life, I was lucky to have a father who didn’t treat me badly when it comes to taking me shopping for my period products. I could always count on him to take me shopping for pads, etc. I wish other girls could have men be more reliable when it comes to shopping with them for personal hygiene products and knowing what these products are, making it normal to ask for pads, tampons in classrooms, working places

Awesome informative video! I wanted to mention the Therma Care Menstrual heat wraps! Those things are a lifesaver for me and my 3 daughters. They just stick inside the top part of your underwear and heat up to help with cramps. They warm up well and are thin so no one even knows they're there. My daughter's keep them in their backpacks for those school day periods. Lifesavers I tell ya!
This makes me want to watch The Players Club! LOL This was a great video! I can identify with being teased in school when you're in the bathroom taking care of your period. When I was in middle school/high school, Always and Kotex pads did not come individually wrapped! I found a way to be discreet back then, and I still use it. Get yourself a cheap makeup bag! Dollar Store, Amazon, Ipsy (a wonderful way to utilize those bags), etc... Make sure it holds all your supplies. Then you can just take that case with you to the bathroom instead of bringing your whole purse or stuffing it into your pockets! Now? I always carry at least a couple of pads in every bag I own because you never know when Auntie is gonna say hi! People used to ask me why I carried them with me all the time. When they got caught unprepared and knew that I had extra, I would hand them a pad and say now you know! LOL Pads, wipes, Tylenol...even extra undies it necessary! Handle your business!
If my calendar says my period is suppose to come and it hasn't before I leave home, I put on a pantyliner and take my period bag with me so there will be no surprises.
Tip: buy the 3-5 gallon small scented trash bags at Dollar Tree and get a covered bathroom trash can. You can use those bags to dispose of wipes, pads, etc. Flushing those wipes will cause a large plumbing bill.
This video came just in time.. I turned 30 in December and realized my feminine hygiene routine was SAD. Lol. Your last hygiene video and this video was super helpful. Dear Janae, I was a bit embarrassed too when I was younger, but definitely not anymore, I’m now 53. I don’t give a toss if people see pads in my shopping trolley…these days periods are not taboo anymore like in the 18 th century…I think most of us are over it now and it’s so out there now that for me it’s just not really a secret thing anymore…be proud to be a woman in every way. And just a quick tip I wanna share. For my daughter I got well prepared for her period. I remember I got mine at 13 years, so I thought incAse she gets it earlier ( like my auntie did at 11) I’ll be prepared. I told her about it when she turned 11, and I got a PERIOD TREASURE box all ready for her. I bought a very nice wicker box with a lid and filled it will all period goodies for her and left in her cupboard. I explained all the stuff in it, and one day , when I wasn’t home she got her period and used it ….I was so happy it was all there for her…it saved the day. I had a few period undies in it, all sorts of pads and small plastic bags for her to throw them out in ( like doggy doo doo ones) …and she was good to go…I fill it up for her when supplies get low. But she’s got her own box of goodies and it was great being prepared….organisation is everything, takes the stress away…. I think it’s a great idea for you to give your girls their own period goodie box….it will help you and them….😊❤️

I made my girls a travel kit for those days since we don’t know when it comes. Extra panties and bottoms to pack as well just in case. I taught them since they were 5 so when time come, they’re prepared and knowledgeable. It consists of pads,wipes, small black trash bag, Tylenol, panties and bottoms. Thanks for the video. Great video I keep old magazines in the bathroom and wrap pads in those in case we have company over and we have a clean the bathroom everyday regimen. Clean your body and hands frequently and my OBGYN said wash and dry yourself good so you don't get an infection.

Quick Tip: to secure used pad/tampon/liners, after rolling it up. Slide it inside the cardboard roll of toilet paper and fold in the ends. Keeps it secure and discreet. Pets won't open easily if the trash can falls over. 😉 PS : I keep the toilet paper rolls for that sole purpose.

Put pads in a small cosmetic bag to avoid dust and debris that maybe in your purse that can contaminate the pad. It happens. I agree with you white cloths only. Wash all cloths and panties before wearing and using. Including clothes.
I use the same app. Life saver. Too many times life be getting busy and boom I get that memo my period about to start. Depending on the month I’ll have it twice a month.

For disposal I use the bags from dollar tree n the baby section that u use to dispose of diapers. U get 100 in a pack i believe. I also keep a bag with me for just in case moments. I use a makeup bag with my products and wipes n all that. Great video

Good info Ms. Destiny, you do everything I did when I was going through my cycles. Don't have them anymore thank God. I was a heavy bleeder and I knew every 28 days on point my cycle would start so I was prepared every time. Didn't have cramps until later on in my life; the period was still on point but with cramps and still a heavy bleeder. I had to have a total hysterotomy due to other things that were going on in my body. I thank you so much for sharing with your viewers.

Great video I keep old magazines in the bathroom and wrap pads in those in case we have company over and we have a clean the bathroom everyday regimen. Clean your body and hands frequently and my OBGYN said wash and dry yourself good so you don't get an infection.

Quick Tip: to secure used pad/tampon/liners, after rolling it up. Slide it inside the cardboard roll of toilet paper and fold in the ends.
Keeps it secure and discreet. Pets won't open easily if the trash can falls over.

Put pads in a small cosmetic bag to avoid dust and debris that maybe in your purse that can contaminate the pad. It happens. I agree with you white cloths only. Wash all cloths and panties before wearing and using. Including clothes.

For disposal I use the bags from dollar tree n the baby section that u use to dispose of diapers. U get 100 in a pack i believe. I also keep a bag with me for just in case moments. I use a makeup bag with my products and wipes n all that. Great video

Good info Ms. Destiny, you do everything I did when I was going through my cycles. Don't have them anymore thank God. I was a heavy bleeder and I knew every 28 days on point my cycle would start so I was prepared every time. Didn't have cramps until later on in my life; the period was still on point but with cramps and still a heavy bleeder. I had to have a total hysterotomy due to other things that were going on in my body. I thank you so much for sharing with your viewers.
