Gear and Support Skills (if weapon, equipment, or support skill slots are left empty, they aren't important to the strategy): Phase 1 Ochette (Armsmaster) - A Step Ahead, Deal More Damage, Peak Performance, Upgraded Accessories Nuts: any fortifying nuts not given to Hikari (should get her to around 950 physical attack with the lionheart's axe) Weapons: Battle-Tested Blade, Lionheart's Axe Equipment: Protector's Shield, Royal Guard's Helm, Champion's Belt, Fang of Ferocity Other: Demon Goat and Vagrant Frogking 3 beasts Throne (Cleric) - A Step Ahead, Deal More Damage, Peak Performance, Upgraded Accessories Nuts: every light nut in the game Weapons: Battle-Tested Blade, Vengeful Knife Equipment: Swift Shield, Cloth Headband, Protector's Vestments, Champion's Belt x2 Castti (no subjob) - A Step Ahead Partitio (Cleric) - A Step Ahead Phase 2 Hikari (Arcanist) - A Step Ahead, Boost Start, Deal More Damage, Summon Strength Nuts: enough fortifying nuts to hit 995+ physical attack with Battle-Tested Blade, enough critical nuts to hit 500+ critical with Giant's Club, magic nuts to slightly increase pursuit damage (pursuit only needs to deal around 2k to guarantee a kill, but 99% of the time it's not even needed) Weapons: Battle-Tested Blade, Fire Dragon's Glaive, Mooneater, Giant's Club Equipment: Bodyguard's Vantage, Mermaid Circlet, Blessed Vestments, Alpione's Amulet, Finisher's Claws Other: Sentencing Gavel and Limb from Limb as learned skills Agnea (Cleric) - A Step Ahead, Boost Start Other - needs a follower with the "celestial chorus" (+1 BP) dance session Temenos (Conjurer) - A Step Ahead, Boost Start Osvald - phase 2 only needs 3 characters, so I just left him at 0hp since it's funny :) Turn-by-Turn (zero turn order RNG): Phase 1 (Ochette, Throne, Castti, Partitio) - party order is required to ensure the bonus turns from aelfric's happen in the right order Turn 1 (a step ahead turn) Ochette: Energizing Pomegranate (M) on herself Throne: Latent Power - Reinforcing Jam, then Aelfric's Blessing on herself Castti: Defend (so she goes first turn 2) Partitio: Latent Power - Aelfric's Blessing on Ochette Turn 1, bonus turns (listed in the order they occur) Throne: Latent Power - Reinforcing Jam, then Aeber's Reckoning Ochette: max boosted Provoke Beasts (demon goat x1, vagrant frogking 3 x5) Demon goat boosts critical (need crit boost and 530+ critical to guarantee a crit on the eye), frogking hits twice with axe and has a chance to debuff physical defence for 2 turns, the fight relies on getting at least one of these debuffs, which is the only RNG present here Turn 2 Ochette: max boosted Lionheart's Axe Throne: Latent Power - Disguise as Ochette, then max boosted Lionheart's Axe Alternatively, Throne can skip disguise and use 2 BP surprise attack and aeber's reckoning instead Castti: Concoct (2x pomegranate leaf, strengthening serum, diffusing serum) Partitio: Aelfric's Blessing on Castti Turn 2, bonus turns (listed in the order they occur) Castti: Concoct (grape leaf, 2x pomegranate leaf, strengthening serum, diffusing serum) - need to heal to re-activate peak performance Throne: max boosted Lionheart's Axe (if you didn't disguise, use aeber's here) Ochette: max boosted Lionheart's Axe (kills boss) Phase 2 (Hikari, Agnea, Temenos) - party order is required to ensure the bonus turns from aelfric's happen in the right order Turn 1 (a step ahead turn): Hikari: Hienka (target doesn't matter), then max boosted Sentencing Gavel in the bonus turn to kill all parts Agnea: Lion Dance Hikari (dance session makes it also give +1 BP) Temenos: Conjure Flames Turn 2 Hikari: Energizing Pomegranate (L) to himself Agnea: Aelfric's Blessing on herself Temenos: Aelfric's Blessing on Hikari Turn 2, bonus turns (listed in the order they occur) Agnea: Ancient Cursed Talisman Hikari: max boosted Limb from Limb (kills boss) He needs to deal 250k damage here (62500 per hit), and as seen in the video's 4th hit, they can low roll to deal less than this Though I've never seen it miss the range, that's why conjure flames is set up, since the pursuit will still kill him even if you low roll on all 4 hits
Limb from Limb just barely doesn't do enough damage to guarantee a kill on the body at level 80 (however it's pretty unlikely to miss the kill). Conjure Flames gives the slight bit of additional damage needed to guarantee the kill.

Turn-by-Turn (zero turn order RNG):
Phase 1 (Ochette, Throne, Castti, Partitio) - party order is required to ensure the bonus turns from aelfric's happen in the right order
Turn 1 (a step ahead turn)
Ochette: Energizing Pomegranate (M) on herself

Alternatively, Throne can skip disguise and use 2 BP surprise attack and aeber's reckoning instead

Temenos: Aelfric's Blessing on Hikari
Turn 2, bonus turns (listed in the order they occur)

Hikari: max boosted Limb from Limb (kills boss)
He needs to deal 250k damage here (62500 per hit), and as seen in the video's 4th hit, they can low roll to deal less than this
Though I've never seen it miss the range, that's why conjure flames is set up, since the pursuit will still kill him even if you low roll on all 4 hits
No Idea if you’ll see this but what was the point of conjure flames?
Limb from Limb just barely doesn't do enough damage to guarantee a kill on the body at level 80 (however it's pretty unlikely to miss the kill). Conjure Flames gives the slight bit of additional damage needed to guarantee the kill.
