Thank you so much for another wonderful lesson. I absolutely love how you include your pencil sketch so, as you say, we know exactly what you’re doing. Beautiful lesson. Really beautiful colour, too. Thank you.
Love all your vids. Two great things about them. First is that you show your workspace and flow. This is very helpful and interesting to see how you approach the wetness and mixing. Second as many have said it is super enlightening to see how a "loose" wet style greatly enhances the result. I would be really interested to see your approach to larger works in future vids.
RUclips recommendation algorithms are unfathomable: it is the first time I come across your channel and am instantly hooked. You are so talented, and so good at showing some of your technical skills. I also really appreciate that you show the way you paint in real time speed. Thank you!!
What a gorgeous color. Beautiful work and wonderful teacher. I’m a huge fan of Daniel Smith but usually don’t venture much further than the colors I’ve used for so long. Will for sure be grabbing the Quin Sienna.
Another good exercise in using a limited palette with explanation of many subtle details. It's always nice and useful to watch your painting process in real time. Thank you, Michael.
Спасибо большое за видео, Михаил, ставни называются shutters. Thanks a lot for sharing professional secrets. It's really unusual for an artist to tell about changes in his colour mixing techniques. Your works are bright, lively, vibrant and remarkably yours.
Fabulous. Great commentary all through on which colours you are using to create all your mixes, it is very useful information! Thank you for sharing your expertise with us.
I really love this painting and the way you use shadow. It perfectly represents an old small italian village. Also my city of Florence has a lot of streets like that!
Wow!! I’m learning so much from you! I haven’t done any serious work using watercolors. I have worked for the longest time with oil, acrylics, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, acrylic and alcohol markers, oil pastels but never with watercolor paints and ink. I have a great desire to start with them. I’m fascinated and very much inspired by your amazing work!
Absolutely beautiful! You make w/c look so easy but I know it’s very difficult to paint so beautifully. I’ll definitely add Quin. sienna to my palette. Thank you so much for your sharing your painting talent with us.
Very Nice Michael. I am in New York City doing plein Air in Central Park. Your videos are an inspiration and educational guide. You have very beautiful watercolors, and you keep me encouraged. Thank you. I just bought some of my first tubes of Daniel Smith paints and they are amazing. Permanent Red, Cadmium Yellow and Prussian ....SMILE. Very Nice.
I really enjoyed this video and the use of Q-Sienna. I always thought indigo was staining but you lifted it out so easily. Thank you for such a good video.
I bought some watercolors some years ago and found it an unruly medium, I had no idea how to use them. It's been hard for me but you have helped me no end with your demonstrations. Thanyou.!
I just got my ECO palette and brushes in the mail. I've started the journey through your video courses as well, and I can't wait to learn watercolor! I am so so glad I found your content. It's exactly what I needed as a beginner.
Thank You Michael, we just got your 3 fav colors and just ordered your eco-palette can't wait til it gets here. Also love your loose technique and that giant painting behind you is awesome!!!
Thank you so much, Tez! 😀 I also am trying to work a lot in plein air (if the weather allows)- but the audio commentary is much easier to make indoors.
Hi Michael ! for sure Quinacridone sienna is a wonderful color ; I don't have it but I use "Gold of quinacridone" (sennelier) a very rich color ; and my other favorite color is "dragon's blood" from Maimeriblu... very stark color too ...I'm going to do your italian street...Thanks for all your vidéo...
