I love that he backed right into the property so the rubbish didn't spill into the road or inconvenience the neighbours. Annoys the hell out of the freeloaders but maintains the company reputation at the same time.
Started my hgv career on skips, have worked for multiple firms over the years and had multiple customers refusing to pay. All I was told is go get the skip and bring it back empty, was always interesting to see the reaction when you tip it on their drive, especially when they gotta move it to get their car out.
I work as a carpenter and joiner and I was doing a job for a customer, I'd been there for nearing a month and a half doing various jobs inside and out and at the end of it the customer said "You've done a great job but I'm not paying you". While on my way out for the final time with the last of my tools I saw on his calendar he was having a party a week before Christmas so I decided to go along. You should have seen his face. He couldn't say anything bad in front of all of his friends and family "come in my friend, glad you could come along. While I remember, I owe you some money, let me just get my chequebook" I was also offered a couple of drinks and was introduced to everyone there. I just wish I could go back and see his face when I turned up at the party that night
My neighbour he did not pay for a skip they unloded front of the house . Council come and took photos as flytipin and after that witness said was a truck and unloaded on road from skip. Council cleaned and was chasing skip company with fine . He he he he best joke ever

Well, pardon me, but it is the skip company that slipped up. Like many others who have commented, even when I hired about 12 years ago you paid on arrival or before delivery, and before they actually dropped the skip.
Couldn't have done his business any good, the link for pricing is dead. I could be wrong but if I am I'm sure someone will correct me. Once rubbish gets put in a skip it becomes your responsibility so if the trash is then tipped back out, you not the person who ordered the skip can be prosecuted. At least that the way I understood it from the council when I was in the building game.
I used to do skips in London years ago and I did this once full of muck and rubble as the house owner and the landscaper were disputing who paid for the skip so I gave the time to sort it out lol
I've been monitoring one about 30 doors away and I believe the house is now empty and I'm preparing a covert operation but it has to be planned to the finest detail. xxxxing on your own doorstep is not to be recommended so this could be the long haul waiting for THE moment... I will keep you posted...

Investigations are still underway but due to Covid, like any Company you ring up, they are "experiencing an extremely high volume " of surveillance. so slowly, slowly, catchee monkey. I will keep you updated but this could be for the long haul which is, ironical, as I only have a short-haul to get rid of :)
Anytime I get a skip I've to move fast if the back is turned the neighbours be filling it up. My father got a skip ordered for the day after he came back from holidays they delivered it two days early when he got home it was more than half full of empty paint cans and whatnot he rang the skip crowd they said not their problem it stayed just outside his back yard for almost 6 month's it was humming there were more rats than his cat could kill. Eventually he got a bunch of traveller's to take it they kept the skip. Skip crowd sent him threatening letter's went to small claims and my dad won 1800 quid all because he paid up front and they delivered on wrong date and wasn't on his property when asked about who took the skip he said he thought the skip company came to their senses and took it.
@Michael Tighe you can actually be done for that even though it's their rubbish it'll have to proven in a court of law that they dumped it on your property first otherwise both parties could be charged for dumping, we had a few trip's to the solicitors regarding the skip even if you see someone fly tipping as much as you'd like to you can't touch it or them just report it where it will very very rarely get any results. It is absolute madness and extremely frustrating dirty bastards. There's a video on RUclips of a lady biker in America picking up rubbish a guy threw out his window like mc donalds or something she threw it back in his open window well anyhow she got identified and she was charged for assault and damage to interior of vehicle as it's crazy, the law is there to protect the litter bug's should be the other way round but the way the courts look at it is did everyone act to the letter of the law.
Would it still be absolutely brilliant if you lived next door and had to live with that because matey didn't pay his hundred quid or whatever paltry sum it was

Most dumps charge by the ton so you can't even empty the skip without incurring expenses. PS my dad is part owner of a strip mall, and a big problem they have is that most all of the shops have a bin out back for cardboard, food waste, what have you , general garbage and they pay a company to rent the bin and also empty it. People come by with their all kinds of waste everything from demolished drywall to old couches. The store owners have to pay to have that removed. So my dad confronted some trespassing dumpers one time and they told him to bugger off and threatened to beat him up. Now all the dumpsters have locks on them. Can you believe it you have to lock your dumpster. Still get couches dumped in front of them though. And old TV's. All kinds of crap. All because nobody wants to pay $15 a ton. The landfill is but 20 minutes away.
Its even worse when some knob moves the skip when empty, then you physically cannot get the truck back on it!!! And then they have the feckin nerve to ask how you're gonna pick it up, answer 'we're not mate, you're gonna empty it first then put it back where I can get it'.....yes that was my day!!!!
Ahaha yer bloody knobs ay ...I had one today on some guys front lawn so I just picked it up the way I dropped it and stuffed his lawn up...That's what he gets for moving it when he clearly didn't have to

That's one way to get your skip back now I see why you have to pay up front for the skips I've had many skips in the past and we agreed to pay half for the skip to be dropped off empty then the other half when it's full that way we don't have to worry about it not being collected and the guy who runs the company is happy to do that as he knows he will get full payment

My dad had a skip company and a cattery did not pay for 3 weeks and my dad had taken it away already but as it stank of cat poo he had trouble tipping it so still had it in the yard... he asks his 10year old son (me) do I want to watch him tipping the skip up on the posh cattery and he did right outside the entrance ! Apart from nearly throwing my guts up I was wetting myself laughing then more so looking in the mirror as we drove off at the bloke running up the long drive way with his fist in the air 😂😂😂😝😎

I have an urge to pedantically correct your subtitling. It would not be stealing for the skip hire company to take the rubbish, the only 2 exceptions in the theft act are one for bailiffs acting under the taking control of goods act, and one for goods which are abandoned. Anything placed in an unlocked waste disposal container (eg a skip) can be considered abandoned. Skip diving is legal!
All good and well, but that house was obviously empty and the new tenants will have to pay for someone else's rubbish to be taken away. Should've taken money up front.
Numerous violations, and damage to property caught directly on camera. The person who rented the skip was just handed cause to take legal action. I'd love to know how this played out. Good lesson though. "When your in the right, do things by the book."

Its definitely around late 2000s as there are blue, brown bins. We didn't have these in early 2000s or in the 90s.
