I am watching this video and you are talking about San Marzano tomatoes! I live in Manitoba Canada and I grow them in my garden. They are prolific and I save the seeds for next year’s crop. You and Claire can grow them for sure. I roast them in the oven , can them in jars and dry them. They are the best!
Pizza looks delicious! Crust to die for ! Do you all eat Sheppard's Pie? I would love to see your take on it!. I am here from BC Canada and grow San Marizano tomatoes too. I use my tomatoes to make Salsa, (using our home grown ingredients except cilantro, it does terrible here) and water bath can it for fresh salsa all year!
Challenge excepted 👍Great that you grow your own San Marizanos, we have been very happy will our summer tomatoes harvest, but next year i would like to improve on taste. Some of the tomatoes lacked taste and I believe this might be because they were hybrid rather than heirloom.
None of it is boring to me. I ❤love watching your videos. A slice of life keeps me from dwelling on mine. The next movie that won’t make it in Hollywood “I Dreamed of Going to Ireland “. 🍀
Hello from Canada.. I just discovered your channel and the name West Cork Wanderer caught my attention. My very good friend lives in Co Cork in a little community called Watergrass Hill. I made a surprise visit to celebrate her 65th birthday and we spent a day exploring Cork, Cobh and roaming around Blarney Castle. I love Ireland! It's incredible what you've restored so far on your stone cottage.
Love the bits of glass in the floor, that’s going to look beautiful when it’s all done! That pizza looks blooming lovely! The last time I made pizza I was still at school! 😮 long long time ago! I must say you have inspired me to try again! Thanks for brilliant step by step tutorial. ❤
@@WestCorkWander yeah we love a bit of pizza too but I would think where we get ours from is far from healthy 😂 so it would be lovely to try a healthier option comfort food! Ooh I was going to WhatsApp you about the 12 monther!! Will do it now. Vid is up now 🤪
I very much enjoy you cooking. As I use sourdough for all my bakery, I can confirm that baking is just wonderful, no matter whether it's a pizza or anything else. Space isn't big enough in my kitchen and I enjoy using the good old bowl for making everything. Rob, you have admirable mixing skills on a chopping board! 🙂
I like to watch your channel while I'm renovating my spiral staircase. You two keep me going on. Projects can be daunting. Did you know that😂? Cheers, Kindle
Your doing a great job rob don't get disheartened I love watching you both and of course Rooney, I wish I could cook like you can (perhaps I got a bit of can't cook won't cook) 😂 ❤
It’s 30 degrees hotter here in South Carolina, than in Cork today. An indoors day for me after 10 am. We’ve had a few weeks of it already. I do love a good pizza myself! I make my own pita bread and freeze it. A batch marks 8 individual pizzas. Pita bread makes excellent thinned crusts for pizzas. Might I suggest that You need some herbs at least in your sauce. M.
@@WestCorkWander By the way, your work ethic has me floored, both of you, tremendous people, well done to you all. You now have a place in paradise, pity the weather is "sh1te" though, lol!
Please turn down background music. The quick written notes on the screen need to stay on a little longer. Would like to see the original floorplan, and then the floorplan you turned the building into. Also wondered if you watched any of the videos on tiny houses in terms of ideas for your smaller spaces
We have watched a lot of tiny space videos, so it's a case of putting the plans together. Noted about the music level and we must do a recap on the floor plan 👍
Hey, Rob here, Yeah, strangely it was better, I do like to do it traditionally and not squeeze the air... But I must be doing something wrong as the rolled seems better!

Stuff'n excellent you did it .
Small steps but in the right direction!
Wow beautiful night sky
It's gorgeous 😍
Delicious pizza but boy does it take some time! I’d be heading to the Brick Oven in Bantry. ❤️🇨🇦
Ah yes my daughter likes to go there also 😊
Always lovely to see you guys, and the pizza looks delicious! Please cook a dessert pizza for us someday, that sounds really yummy! 💚😋
We will! On the list 😉

Have to say I've not really tried pitta .. suppose it's similar to pizza. We just love pizza to much to deviate 🤣🤣
Pork lion is used in fuet espetec extra thin sausage with herbs & peppercorn it is similar to salami. Have you tried making Focaccia
Awesome!!! Thanks for that, defo didn't taste the peppercorn. No I haven't tried it... Worth a shot?
How long have you been renovating now please? Jayne from Brisbane Australia
We are at this renovation 15 months now 😊
Is your Spanish sausage similar to a chorizo ???
Close but not quite. Chorizo is very paprika-ey and a bit more moist, this was dry and not so peppery. Lovely tho
Curious if you like crust thick and doughy or thin crispy? I prefer thin. That way, I can eat more slices with the topping vs filling up on crust.
I think we prefer the thin and crispy 🤤
Tomato hand - Nick Cave
Wow, well done, I didn't think we would have anyone get that 🤗
What’s the name of that cheap mixer on Amazon?
Think it's just a paddle mixer...
@@WestCorkWander thanks, not spending on Kitchen Aid ever again!
