The nanos are so cute. I like that even though the nanos are tiny, they fit the essentials. Good quality leathers smell soooo good, and feel so soft, plump and smooth.

I have been stalking Auguste Atelier's for months and I am in love. The fact that their items are crafted in Italy is the best part! I am of Italian heritage and my grandfather was a cobbler in Italy and moved to the US and had a teeny cobbler shop for years. EVERYONE brought their shoes to him for repair and the repair lasted forever. The Italian craftsman is truly that "a craftsman" and very proud of their work and makes sure that everything that they do reflects that they are proud of what they do. Too often the so called "luxury" brands are only interested in the bottom line. Seems lately they don't care how often you may have to return as long as you paid the outrageous price and their logo is out there. It's very sad. But AA is amazing and I have them on my wish list. Thank you jerusha for sharing your bags with us.
Mini bags are the best! Especially when they fit your daily essentials. Nothing beats spending your hard earned money on a bag (especially as a handbag junkie 🙋🏻♀️) that won’t fall apart after 6 months of use. Durability is everything to me because i love to use my bags regularly and not switch out weekly, so for me to know i own a bag that can keep up and won’t show signs of wear and tear after a month is top notch.
I have some handmade SLGs in my collection. My favorite piece is an envelope wallet I bought in 1991!!!! I use it every single day. After more than 32 years, it's still in very good condition. The leather is amazing. As a Sorbonne student I had to save 6 months and work more shifts to afford it during the sales in Paris. Only one piece left. I jumped on it but, to be honest, it was still so expensive that my ❤️ skipped a beat or two!?!?
The Speedy strap feels better and longer because the points where it attaches to the bag are wider whereas they are closer together on the Alma so it feels shorter on the body and less comfortable. This is why I haven’t bought the Alma, I don’t like how it feels on me.
Yes! I avoid all handbags where the strap attaches on the top handles because it feels too snug - also I don’t like the look of the crossbody strap being so narrow

They fit differently because the clasp point on each bag is different. In the Alma the space between each brass clasp is closer, on the speedy it’s further. If that makes sense.

I was in Sydney over the weekend took my daughter to Taylor. Well my girlfriend did I’m recovering from a broken leg still, I stayed in the hotel room. BUT we went to a Bondi Junction, came up the escalators, and saw the florist. I was fan Girling, telling my girlfriend that you buy flowers from their. She had no idea what I was talking about. I was almost in tears ☺️I had to get a coffee and walk past Louis Vuitton looking in the window to see if you were there 😂 I know I sound like a weirdo! Adorbs! Nano Alma def. on my wishlist. As for the strap length, LV probably makes their straps a standard length and make them with different strap widths. As for the feel, I think it depends where the strap hooks on the bag. the nano speedy hoops are on the side of the bag vs. the nano Alma on the handle on top of the bag and doesn't "wrap around" the bag as much...so that will make the "drop hang" of the bag different. if that makes sense lol. I think if you measure the drop of the strap when attached to the bags, it will be slightly different....now I'm curious about my theory lol.
I see what you mean about the strap drop. Although they are the same, the speedy does look slightly longer I think because like you said the strap is thinner. So cute love it ❤❤
But Tasha now I am worried that it's not consistent in my collection my sister-in-law told me it doesn't look anything like my nano speedy and I should make them all the same what do you think???

My father had a shop and made tailor made leather jackets and clothes. His attention to detail was incredible and so was the smell of leather.
