Some very good points about the 20mm unit focusing, which no one has talked about before. I didn’t know that! I have both and I love the 20mm so I’m selling the 25mm. Although I also love the FoV and fast AF of the 25mm, I can’t seem to justify keeping both as they are too close in focal length. Also a great point about the 14mm focusing faster. I am in the Chicago area and just picked up a gx9 I bought the 14mm, 20mm, 25mm and the 12-32mm. I would love to meet over coffee and talk GXs It seems I might be able to do without the 20mm and use the 14mm for wide angle shooting. What do you think of the 12-32mm ?
Hi Brad, I'm really sorry, this comment got held for review for reasons only YT knows and I just saw it. I think the 12-32 is a really great little lens. As for the 14 vs the 20, I feel if you have the 12-32, the 20mm makes more sense. I had the 14mm but sold it. I have relatively big hands and I found it just too small and was worried I'd drop it.
Most people think the 20mm is sharper. Bear in mind trying to judge sharpness on a 1080P video with RUclips compression probably isn’t the best way to tell. Both of them are sharp enough to get through Alamy QC, where they look at images at 100%

Thank you. Sorry for the late reply. Your comment got automatically held for review for some reason only RUclips knows and I didn't see it until now.
If I recall correctly I think the 20mm might have been the first MFT lens. For low light I used to like the manual Samyang 12mm f2
Thanks for the video!!
Thank you 🙏 i am a beginner in photography, trying to understand what should I buy for my GX85) looks like 20mm is better even the price is higher
Glad it was helpful!

Is it just me or do the 25mm sample shots in this video look much sharper than the 20mm

G'day, mate. Wow. Great explanation regarding the 20mm. Very interesting. Maybe I will have to buy myself a Panasonic. Thanks.
