19 years later and every so often I still sing, "Scotty doesn't know!" Also, just have to say, I've always felt "EuroTrip" is the most underrated stupid raunchy comedy from the early 2000s. Thing is hilarious from begining to end, eminently quotable and hits quite a few different funny notes as it goes. From cringe comedy, to sex comedy, to slapstick, ect. It's just a banger, one of the best "shut your brain off and enjoy" comedies from that era.
I was stationed in Germany when this movie came out. I've traveled to several locations in this movie, and die laughing every time I see it! Totally underrated!😅
Thank you for watching this! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I actually got a picture with Kristen Kurek (Fiona) at C2E2 this year and the look on her face was priceless when I cosplayed as Matt Damon 😂
This is such a fun movie i used to watch it all the time as a teenager. I dont know how many people I've known who were like cooper or even the twins. The cast really do feel like highschool friends. The whole robot street performer scene is always fun to see and the scotty doesnt know song still gets stuck in my head nearly 15 years later. MI SCUSI!!
My name is Scott and I’ve heard that song sang to me whenever meeting new people. Had a similar break up as well. My friends would sing it to me all the time. Love the movie.
this movie holds a special place in my heart because I first saw it during my 4 month study abroad experience in The Netherlands in college. I remember laughing with my friends that I'd made there at the absurdity of it all, knowing the reality of everything since I'd been to a few of the places they'd traveled to, and still loving and appreciating the exaggerations and jokes. I hope you get to visit Europe someday Leo and get to see it for yourself ❤
Oh gods...I just looked it up...James Doohan was still alive when this movie came out! HE could have suffered some jackass going, "Scotty doesn't know!"
I'm brandon... I live in a very conservative part of Montana, so the phrase let's go Brandon is said like 50x a day to me... I share your un enthusiastic tone
As european myself, I can tell you that anything that you've seen in this movie.... is 100% true....... we spend all day and all night boinking each other without any rime or reason.... I don't know how our economy can hold it.....
The behind the scenes talent is pretty impressive for a teen sex comedy. The writing/directing team of this movie have worked on Seinfeld, SNL, Veep, The League, and Barry.
This movie and Road Trip make for a great double feature! Trust me I know :) Seriously though this movie has some of the funniest moments I have ever seen with an audience. The robot dance, the pope moments...the running joke about the song. So many things hit and hit hard even on repeat viewings. Great reaction as always bub! Cape Cod, MA! MAIL MOTHER F-ER! To this day I think of that joke whenever someone says "I have an Email" lol Also Scotty Doesn't know came on at random on my jeep radio its door less and topless in the summer if its not raining OOPS . . . nope - got a laugh and someone who yelled "lol I love that movie!" - felt so cool lol!
Me and my closest friends watched this religiously during high school. This is such an underrated film. The comedy writing is so risqué for the time, that it works. I didnt know it then, but loved finding SNL and other comedy stars playing the European characters. Great movie bro.
Nice to see you doing the classics bro! Please do Screwed, Broken Lizard's Club Dread, Dirty work, Life Stinks, Black Knight, Blue Streak, Just Visiting and A Fish called Wanda. All hilarious!
Man I remember watching this when it came out and loved it lol just remember everyone singing this song at school. This was right up there with American Pie for me, I wish they would've done another one.
Leo i really think you are one of the funniest movie reactors i've been watching! Been watching your videos since you did only music reactions, keep up the great work. Much love from the Netherlands!
Hasselhoff singing😊 I got to meet him when he was," Micheal Knight" filming at Ceasar's Palace Las Vegas for this little unknown show atthe time called Knight Rider! This was in the 80's so I was very, very young. My father was a bit of a showman, did hypnotist shows and hung out with an interesting group of entertainers in the 70's so he had no problem just chatting with up him while the cameramen did something with their equipment. My very social father just walked up to him and started a lil' convo. The next thing I remember was seeing The Hoff walking over to me and my mom and was super nice to us. I distinctly remember his eyes were super blue and all I could do was smile from cheek to cheek while he pulled on my little pigtails and said something sweet. Later in life my mother loved to tell the tale when my eyes became the size of saucers the day I met a t.v. star...I met the man who drove the coolest car on the planet, KITT! I had quite the 'what I did this summer' story for my 3rd grade class!!! 😄😄
I still say Mi Scusi instead of excuse me all the time lol 😄 edit: 13:30 you ask what a Wank is, well in England a common insult is calling someone a wanker. Wankers use their hands to get themselves off lol
I saw the actual band that performs, "Scotty Doesn't Know" by accident, lol! They opened for a couple of local DFW bands way back. Twin Jewels, I believe. They claimed they were the artists and then performed it, lol
Love your reactions! FYI, it was so cheap for them to get to London because they agreed to be couriers (carry a package or a letter that needed to be hand delivered / get there in a hurry). I don't know if being a courier like that is a real thing, but that's how they explain it in the movie. Basically the courier service paid the rest of their airfare (whatever the cost was in addition to the $118). Thanks again--love this movie!
The day after I saw this movie I had to go get the soundtrack. Love it! It has the "original" version of "Scotty Doesn't Know" along with the techno version played at the club.
Scotty doesn't know! It's a great line to sing at a bar and see how many other people sing it with you. Guaranteed way to break the ice and meet great people.
"Scotty doesn't know".....when this movie came out you have no idea not only just how popular that song itself was but how often those lyrics were repeated when someone didn't know something, whatever that something might have been
a minor point of interest is that the vast majority of the film was shot in the Czech Republic and especially in our capital Prague... Amsterdam, Rome, Paris and London are actually Prague :D and Bratislava is actually a former abandoned barracks from the Soviet occupation :D I personally recommend the pub that is supposed to represent London (it's Irish and its name is Joyce Royce ) :D I really recommend visiting Prague because it is the heart of Europe and I will be happy to make a guide for anyone or advise them on what to visit and what to watch out for :D
In Holland (The country that Amsterdam is in) used to have a serious crime problem specifically drug and prostitution. So their answer was to legalise prostitution and drugs and that brought the crime rate down. Can't argue with that logic.
So glad you watched Eurotrip! One of my all time favorites. Whenever I'm feeling particularly naughty, I break out Fred Armisen's classic line "Mi Scuzi". Also, you've got a beautiful looking Staffy. Scotty Doesn't Know!
I'm so glad you did this one, I knew it would be right up your alley. If you liked this, you'd love Sexdrive. Please consider watching that one ( the original not unrated for your first time, I'd say )! Also you and your dog are so precious. ♥
If only Scotty had known he could just make another email address that isn't blocked and explain to Micah what happened lol, would've saved himself a lot of trouble
I remember first watching it when I was in my teens in high school when my mom was not home from work, and I never laughed so hard at that at any movie I watched. It is still one of my favorite comady movies of all time.
Soooo many great scenes in this movie. I'm sure you're going to cry laughing from it Leo!!! Enjoy it my friend! You should do a euro trip yourself someday

The greatest Matt Damon cameo ever
idk team america world police might have to be up there in the rankings hahahaha.....jk...this was the GREATEST!!!
And Lucy Lawless aka Xena! That was a crazy ass surprise cameo!😂😂😂
His non-appearance to the Jimmy Kimmel show is his greatest cameo lol. And his "I'm fucking Matt Damon" is up there.
I love vinnie Jones as Hooligan😂
"MATT DAMON." 🤪
That "mail mother fucker" has been my email notification for so many damn years 🤣🤣

“Wank” means jerking off. A “Wanker” is basically a jerk off but the context matters a lot.
