THGT, plagued with the curse of the 1977 Nova. My daughter explained that to me many years ago when she was in high school.. The Nova was doomed out of the gate, with a name like Nova…No Va as in no go..Keep Digging, THGT!

Good hunt, but that looks like hard digging, especially as you only use a hand digger.

On your D2 coil, what is that blue doohickey? Hopefully it will rain soon for you out there (and here) and loosen up that concrete soil! Just start calling 1977 coins your lucky ones!
It centers the shaft to the middle of the coil making the ergonomics a bit better...in theory. AU Ron printed me up 4 different colors. Not sure it works or just a placebo effect.
