Interesting event.
They made the talon sit on the 2-step for a total of 19 seconds while they we're deciding if they wanted to throw the green flag or not.
The contact between the Camaro and the Subaru was absolutely the Subarus fault. It didn't look intentional, looks like she thought she had him cleared but didn't.
And if I had $1 for every time they say "give the advantage to", especially when the cars are dead even 😅
But lots of great racing as always and great video coverage

Shameful track favor. This track is RIFE with it.
Winner in the black shtbox complaining that people call him out for crashing his junkyard special into nice and expensive cars because he overdrives like a maniac. Glad to see the much deserved criticism going to his head.

Mutual fault at worst! Camaro’s got hundreds of laps experience on granny! Rookies make mistakes, veterans capitalize on them! Great competitors either way.
So outta curiosity, y is it the Camaros job to lift and not the Subarus job to not hit the car? The Camaro drove his lane and actually avoided the most contact. She just dove down into him. Let’s also not forget that just 2 weeks ago the same Subaru tried to drive Charlie the blazer into a wall in bethel and if he didn’t lift and give up the race she would have wrecked him.
I think I’m gonna drive into the back end of your car next time your stoppped at a red light and say you have more driving experience then me so you should have know to move out of the way!

Funny thing there were a few folks in the crowd complaining that guy in the Camaro should have lifted. What I saw, and what the video shows is the Subaru driver was pushing him off track and he ran out of room. Tough racing incident for two drivers who typically race clean. Maybe she though she was clear of him? It is hard to see out the side when wearing a race helmet.
This was a wild day. So many fast cars, so much good racing!!
Imagine being pumped and excited about beating people you’ve already beaten multiple times? I guess the feeling is satisfying coming off a massive losing streak 🤓

The key is she tried to close the door. But you can’t close the door when there is a car there. The general concept in our division is you must be clear of the car to take the lane not bully your way in or just assume there not there. She even admitted after she didn’t look in her mirrors to see if she was clear just drove down. So what was he supposed to do? If he slammed the brakes and ends up sliding neither driver would have finished that race they both would have had to be towed off the track. so his driving ability saved both cars from having more damage. Although had her driving ability been better there would have been no damage. This is not a knock on her I hope this is a learning experience for her. You need to be aware of your surroundings at all times on the track. A lot of newer drivers make the same mistake. The key is to learn from your mistakes and grow as a driver.

I love watching these spectator races. You got a thumbs up by the way. It's crazy how these people push their cars. I couldn't afford to take an accident that's for sure. Lol my luck. My insurance agent would be watching the video. Great video and you take care.

Yes, starts to glitch around the 12 minute mark. Can't do anything about this video but future videos will not have this problem.

If you start them on the curve, you need to stagger the cars - the inside lane has the advantage of less distance to travel otherwise.
