YOU GUYS - I am so sorry. Somehow I got it into my head that the three birthstones for June were Pearl, Opal, and Alexandrite but I was WRONG. It's not opal, it's moonstone! haha Opal is actually October's birthstone but I thought it was June's too. I'm so sorry, my June babies. 😅

I probably will never make soap and I rarely buy bar soap, but I appreciate your craft and when you explain your process. I've been watching you nonstop for a whole night and this has been a great experience. I find the mixing, piping, and cross sections to be so satisfying. Seeing kitchen utensils being utilized for soap making keeps blowing my mind.
Jenna Taylia I was into body wash for some time. I have been buying homemade bar soap at my local farmers market, and I love it! I am so spoiled by the luxurious feel and wonderful scents of the homemade soaps! In the early days of the lockdown, I made soap! I made pioneer soap, which means that I made my own lye from hardwood ash and rainwater. I ordered some soap molds and will be making Castile soap this week. I probably won’t buy store bought soap again. I’ve gotten spoiled.

When I first found her videos like 6 months ago I went on a binge. Go to secret soap series 2019. the last one it is the coolest soap she has made so far. (I can't tell you what it's called cuz that kind of ruins the secret soap series which is worth watching on its own but the last one looks like fire as a hint. )
I can't use soap at all ( damn skin) but I find these video uplifting and tickles my pretty fancy bones , I can just imagine the scents , ohhh I wish I could use soap 💝

It might sound weird to say, but since i found your channel after watching Safiya Nygaard last video i can't stop watching you, i can't stop thinking about soap and colors fragrances etc, the most important thing is that you look so genuinely happy (even if i suppose it's extremely hard for your arms after a while), and plus there's this energy you give off every time which is SO inspiring, i mean inspiring to the point i've decided to quit smoking just to spare enough money and start my own lil thing;

Btw, i live in Naples Italy and here the Health care system is an utter failure, so i can't rely on any consistent medical help (that is not for a fee as most of the times it costs a fortune, like the the least expensive psychologist is 60 euros per session), but i'm proud to say that it's been 3 days since the last cigarette, and regardless from how hard is going to be i'm pretty determined to keep going by myself!

She had decorated her apartment super super colorful. Lisa frank decided to open a hotel / air bnb thing in LA. THEY FORCED STUDIO MUCHI TO MOVE, even though it totally violated her rental contract. I'm fairly young, but I think we've all had that summer. Mine was 2015... I went to six flags with my goth boyfriend and made matching tattoo designs that never came to fruition and listened to blink-182 and went roller skating and it was magical.
Then he left me for his abusive ex and I didn't really do "summer fun" anymore.

That blue goldstone soap has such a specific summer feel for me. It makes me think of stormy afternoons at ymca camp as a young teen, waiting inside for parent pick-up, watching anime on cartoon network on the rec room tv. Idk why, but that was the first thing I thought of. When you said it wasn't summer-y my brain was like "no, it is exactly this summer right here".

Katie! That last soap that you said might not represent summer, made me think of lavender town in Pokemon. That relates to summer for me because when I was little I couldn't play on my Gameboy during school year so summertime came around and bam Pokemon all day. I love all these soaps btw!

The Lisa Frank aesthetic can’t be beat but she actually has a reputation for abusing her employees and stealing from other artists. She’s from Phoenix and around where I grew up us creative kids were always warned not to do her internships because of how she treats people that’s work for her. In terms of stealing from other artists, she recently got an artist evicted from her home and stole the entire concept of her home. The artist, @studiomucci/@cloudlandhome on insta, had created a beautiful, bright and colorful home inspired by rainbows and positivity that she often shared on her accounts. Then she was suddenly notified that she was being evicted. She had no idea why and then caught wind that Lisa Frank was opening a hotel and it looked nearly identical to her apartment in many ways. Her landlord did not even give her a chance to stay and she was forced not only to move but to destroy the beautiful murals she had painted on her walls.
I think the soaps all turned out amazing! Just wanted to try and inform you of this! :)

I agree with Lisa Frank's reputation, especially regarding being sue'ing happy. She screwed over a makeup/cosmetics company who ran a joint Kickstarter. That is still going 3 years later.
As for Studio Mucci, is was later known she was constantly behind on rent and the owner, not the lease manager, asked for her eviction. If there was intentions of leasing out the unit as Lisa Frank? Unsure. But the Lisa Frank AirB&B was still a rip off, artistically and financially. Petty Paige goes into detail about this.

I'm not going to lie it's kind of expensive to ship in the United States. I did buy one bar last month and a sticker. It was the first one I've ever bought and it was definitely worth it but a luxury treat for sure.

You should do a timeline themed collection! Like do soaps that are inspired by the 1800s, 1850s, 1900s, 1950s, and 2000s or whatever times you're a fan of. I think you would come up with insane designs that really capture the times!

Even though it hurts to see these Limited Edition soaps, knowing that I will never be able to get my hands on one because they sell out so fast (curse those beautiful dessert barsss 😭), I know it allows you to get to have so much fun and experiment in different ways without making monstrously large batches. It’s a lot of fun to watch you having fun!

June is SO weird. I grew up learning that it was Pearl, Alexandrite, and MOONSTONE. But you aren't the first person to say opalite too. I honestly don't get it.

I LOVE the way you did the lisa frank drop swirl (pretty sure its a drop swirl) where you did each color in layers so they spread throughout the soap. Sometimes I feel that the drop swirls are kinda simple just in the center but I love this one!

The Lisa Frank one is PERFECT. But I love every time she uses dark frostings so I am divided between that one and the blue Goldstone one. More importantly, I love the joy she takes in her craft. I know that, like every human being, her life must be full of struggle and sorrow alongside the happiness and success, but man. She sure does spread the sunshine with every video.

Oh my gosh!! I absolutely love ALL of those soaps! The Lisa Frank one is my favorite! I know you hear it a lot but I must say... you are so fun to watch and listen to. The level of art and craftsmanship in each bar of your soaps is phenomenal!!

If I remember correctly opal is October, but the pastel rainbow of opalite is so perfect
