Besides, there are only 3 action-adventure open world Spider-Man titles on PS2, two of which are based on movies (the rest are beat'em-ups), so it's not that hard to be one of the best Spider-Man game on this console. What's more, if you compare it to other open world action-adventures like GTA trilogy, two Yakuza games, Bully or The Godfather, it's just decent.

The graphics for the buildings and environment is actually pretty decent for the time, it's just the character models are quite unrealistic and poorly animated, however back in 2004 most western games were no better than this.

Same thing happened to me. This was the first 3D Spiderman game I played, and at the time, thought it was really good. At least until I played Ultimate Spiderman.
LMAO, I honestly do not know how I managed to not only avoid being reduced to tears the first time I played this, but how I managed to somehow come to the conclusion that it was good. What a young fool I was... The thought that I actually spent money to purchase this hot mess is baffling to me.
@@olorinever-young4685 it's a good game. A classic. You made the right choice buying it. Yeah sure It might have its flaws but the thing that matters is how much we all loved it. I wouldn't mind spending £50/$ just to relive all the memories I had with this game.
