Wow this is beautiful. I’m gonna have to find this ride. Almost reminds me of Jarbidge. Thanks for taking us along.

Thanks for sharing the ride. I've never been to Leslie Gulch or Birch Ranch area when the water level was that high. I have been on the other side near Watson when the water was high but not the east side. Great destination ride for sure. Back in the olden days (pre-covid) I would rarely see anyone camped at Succor Creek CG. Now you see a lot of folks camped there. Question for you, are you allowed to ride on the west side if you cross the ford near Birch? I thought about it once coming up from Griffith Ranch but was sure you are allowed. Of course I never researched it but just curious if you know. Thanks again for sharing your video.

I have not researched the roads on the west side to see if they were closed or not. I just assumed that they were open.

Wonderful area. Glad I found your channel. In fact, my group of 4 (3 guys from Barcelona, and I from the Basque border on the French side, but living in Seattle) are coming through your area twice over a few days. On 6/12, we will be arriving from Bend through Burns and staying one night in Boise, and again on the 15th, we will arrive from Lolo Pass and stopping in Baker City. I was wondering if I could email or text you for advice on which route to take. Please, let me know.

Sounds great! I'm out for most of June on back-to-back ADV trips. Are you looking to stay on pavement?

@@danielhuffadventures5989 Hi. Thanks for answering. We will be mostly on pavement but will try to get FSRs and other dirt roads here and there are we make our way to Yellowstone and back. Seattle, Mt Rainier loop, Oregon Coast to Dune City Or, either the Umpqa valley or the McKenzie route to Bend, Boise area, Jackson, Wy, Yellowstone, Lolo Pass, Oxbow, Baker City, Sumpter and the Columbia gorge before heading back to Seattle. It's a loose plan. I'd love to take the time to see places like Timber Gulch. Any advice for your area? The plan is pretty loose of course. But since we'll start on the 9th, we should have pretty good conditions.

A ride to the Owyhee Reservoir at Leslie Gulch is definitely worth it. Easy gravel road from Hwy 95.
