I’m very glad Minnesota won the series but let’s all be honest it never should’ve gone seven because the NBA should’ve suspended Murray for game three and Minnesota would’ve put Denver in an 0-3 hole something that no team in league history has ever climbed out of to win a series

Game 7 between TWolves & Nuggets was a microcosm of the entire series. It started in an atypical fashion w/ the TWoles winning the 1st two games in Denver. Then the Nuggets returned the favor & won in Minn. Last night was a summation of all the twists, turns, & contradictions this series encapsulated 😊🎉❤

Mike Malone and Jamal Murray blamed tiredness and difficulty of repeating as the reason they lost. That may be true but that just diminishes the strength and fortitude of your team to repeat (a la Pistons, Bulls, Rockets, Lakers, Heat, Warriors, etc.,) -- instead of just saying we lost to the better team tonight. 😮😮

They pretty much admitted that they ran out of steam this year WHICH diminishes the reputation of your team's mental/physical fortitude when compared to other great teams who repeated in the past -- especially the Bulls three-peating twice. Malone even used the Spurs dynasty run as an excuse for losing this series saying that the Spurs never repeated but they were still a dynasty. Just say you lost to the better team and preserve some dignity for your players.
Thanks to this series, the Nuggets went from a likeable fan favorite to the villains. From them being front runners when talking to the media to Murray's antics and Malone's attitude, they have turned a lot of people off on them.
