This was a problem CN had over a decade ago, and it's all the fault of Christina Miller. Shows like Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, The Amazing World of Gumball, and especially Sonic Boom kept getting less screentime and promotion in favor of more and more Toddler Titans reruns. Christina Miller's not with CN anymore, having stepped down in late 2019, but she still left some nasty scars in her wake.
I’m glad that you had brung this up, because I had once said the exact same thing about certain modern shows being mistreated since the early 2010’s. If you really think about it, Cartoon Network really hasn’t changed when it comes to a variety of shows whether if they rerun the same episodes or not airing new shows but rather being cut, push to later months and then being cancelled like mao mao, ok KO let’s be hero’s, infinity train, Symbonic titan and Craig of the Creek.
You have a good point, i missed the good ol' Monday nights on CN, or Fridays (cartoon Fridays), they aired new episodes on primetime, when CN aired Tig'N'Seek, CN was testing it's primetime hours, seeing if it could work, but it didn't work! I feel like CN is airing new episodes a week instead of airing new episodes weekly. Cartoon Network, please go back to airing new episodes weekly. If not, then your shows will not reach any audiences.
@@gabriellogrado4488Ouleween can only do what Zaslav, Malone and the other top brass at CN will allow him to do, and right now they're laser focused on reducing WBD's debt, not a bad thing, but they're doing so at the expense of creators, talent and their work
Unfortunately, these are their difficult circumstances. We have to be patient for a little while until the final announcement of Zaslav’s resignation is issued and someone better than him is appointed. It is a period of time and it passes.
@animationdefender Warner Bros. needs someone competent running it; someone who isn't sexist or racist and cares about animation. If I were running WB, here's what I'd be giving people: 1. A Tiny Toon Adventures reboot that's actually faithful to the original 1990 series. One that keeps Buster and Babs as an unrelated couple, has the same variety in its stories and locations as the original stories, and gag credits and end tags for every episode's closing credits sequence. Just give it some modern pop-culture references and you're good to go. 2. A compilation of Konami's Tiny Toon Adventures games for modern consoles. Konami previously had a compilation for their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games and they're doing one for Rocket Knight Adventures as well. Tiny Toons had ten games from Konami from 1991 to 1994 and they were generally well-received. This compilation would have new features like rewinding and save states, as well as a museum with concept art and promotional materials. 3. A racing game akin to the Mario Kart series and Disney Speedstorm, but with some of Warner Bros. most popular IPs, like Looney Tunes, DC Comics, Scooby-Doo, and Tom and Jerry. Similar to Speedstorm, new franchises would be released each season and by playing each day, you could earn upgrades to make your racers faster and stronger. 4. The long-awaited Coyote Vs. ACME movie, where Wile E. Coyote sues the ACME Corporationn for decades of faulty products. In the meantime, I've signed any and all petitions to get Zaslav kicked out of WB.
So Many Mistreatment To The Loyal Fans, Too Many Hiatuses, Too Many Cancelling on Good Shows With a Lack of Promos, and Lack of Quality Hurts the Channel On All Account.
I was curious for a while why a lot of modern shows, mainly by WBD, only get like 10 episodes. Fionna and Cake, My Adventures With Superman, Unicorn Warriors Eternal and then we don't see new episodes for the shows until next year. A lot of people don't really talk about this situation and I'm glad you brought this up. Still remember those new Thursdays proms from the 2010's, I use to watch the block the whole way through and tune in to it every week. It was amazing. However, Cartoon Network has gone back to airing new episodes weekly every Saturday morning to be specific. Prince Ivanhoe, Tiny Toons Looniversity and Teen Titans Go are examples.
It seems like CN is going back to its roots, airing new episodes only on Saturday mornings @ 9 (it’s not a block but it’s consistent) whereas Nick is a mess.
If Cartoon Network can't handle modern shows, then they should stick with the classics instead.
No
UNFORTUNATELY CARTOON NETWORK.
But then they’ll fumble the classics too 😭
They can’t handle classics either lmfao.
@@jorge_m-h4g I reckon they should just do reruns of Courage 24/7

It’s sad that it’s not the same anymore.
Shame on WBD shame
If only Cartoon Network also knew how to handle their older shows by releasing them on DVD and Blu-ray.
😂😂😂You piece of fool, you didn't see that they recently released a Blue Ray collection of CN classics

Just move on to streaming services lol.

yha that’s true I’m still waiting on the second animated reboot of the powerpuff girls, I hope it comes out this year.
Keep dreaming
They should bring back the classics like Scooby Doo Josie And The Pussycats Jabberjaw Samurai Jack and Sym Bionic Titan
They should. I haven't seen them for awhile.
@@dragonhead99My opinion Sym Bionic Titan deserves more Seasons
“They should bring back classics” literally every comment on a CN video and still nothing happens lmao.
They won’t there not known for doing reruns of shows now

And neither does Nickelodeon unless it’s SpongeBob.
The loud House, Fairly Odd parents, TMNT or Dora is what they have not just SpongeBob
I miss 120% Cartoon Network
You used to expect Regular Show on Monday nights and Ninjago on Wednesday afternoons. I miss those days.
I know right it's work to keep up with the new episodes and I'm a grown up. I know that the kids aren't keeping up.
They aren’t used to watching tv anymore

We can t forget Michael s plan friend
Nah CN will always be like the Miller era but hey we got streaming services!
As if being an animator or show runner wasn't hard enough.
Didn’t yo do a video like this years ago though ?
Name some cancelled shows Cartoon Network should have kept airing. I’ll bet there’s a lot of them.
We need Mike Lazzo to be head CN & AS man.
Wishful thinking but unfortunately he's up there in age man. He's been in the business since the 90's so I guess we should let him enjoy retirement.
D c network we can t forget Michael s plan
What? Lol Michael’s plan is too keep ruining CN even though it’s already ruined.
@@jorge_m-h4gI dont t think so friend
Cough Cough Total Drama Reboot
Exactly...
Yeah nothing new sadly
Warner Bros is just cheap and can't afford animation. Smaller seasons not many shows.
Wow
It’s sad Cartoon ‘Network is becoming more and more like Nickelodeon
Yeah
I thought Nickelodeon was the only one.
