Trains at: Witham, GEML, 9/02/15

A great afternoon spent at Witham on the great eastern main line where we see a variety of services from Abelio Greater Anglia and a visit from a freightliner class 70. Thanks for watching and enjoy.

Brings back so many good memories of watching trains there as a boy. Grandparents lived in Braintree so would take me to Witham then onto Walton on the naze. Great times. Sadly missed.

I know they often shunt the 321 and 360 into platform 1 when the inter city catches up, but I didn't know they detached at Witham? Never seen that before.

There used to be an evening peak London-Braintree and Walton on the Naze that divided at Witham

I think you should do Droitwich spa as it's where I live but it may be more interesting when cross country do their diversions but you can do the station anytime as there's 3 trains per hour to Birmingham, Worcester and Hereford
