You two are literally the best and kindest people on the planet! Thanks for treating me to a Costco lunch Josh and Ollie!!! Also your team is awesome!
Zach!
You and Josh have literally the same personality. Made this video very enjoyable. Love your work
I believe you are too, Zach. I’m so happy seeing you together! 💜
I love the Thank God shirt
It's so awesome seeing you on the Jolly channel! I was in the BIOLA film department back in 2014 and was lucky enough to attend a talk you gave to one of the film clubs where you broke down your videos and how you made them! I also got to help out as an extra in one of your videos that you shot on campus on Metzger lawn, it was really one of the highlights of my BIOLA days 😄
Seeing Josh step away in the middle of making a video to help a random lady with her cell phone was one of the most wholesome things I’ve seen. I love how sweet and kind they are!
@Repent-and-believe-in-Jesus1 I’m a believer too but I’m not sure what you’re trying to say…
I once saw a dude with a Costco apple pie, Costco whole pizza, and rotisserie chicken going to town on all of it with his wife and 4 young kids in the outdoor Costco food court. It took a moment for the brilliance of it to kick in. Economical way to feed the family AND not make a mess at home.
I don't understand why this is considered brilliant. It's the same as eating at a fast food or buffet restaurant.
It's way cheaper and you can tie it into grocery shopping. Its incredibly convenient.
@@Darapsa in whole of America you can't feed a family of 6 under 30 dollars in any buffet or fast food chain. The whole chicken cost 5 dollars and the 18 inch pizza cost 10 dollars and the pie at Max cost 10 bucks.
@@neerajnongmaithem392 Kids under 3 eat free...
@@macattack5863 That is a great point.
Zach: “Wow, you guys ordered a lot”
Clearly unfamiliar with Josh and Ollie’s food ordering habits 😂
Josh is one to take care of everybody you can just tell by the way he helped that lady. Your parents raised you well Josh, plus I think it’s your natural disposition.
Also he knows hes on camera.
@@nullakjg767 Except he could have just edited it out if he didn't want to help her.
@@nullakjg767do you really think he would have declined her request for help if he was off camera?
@@JeshFrederick you got it backwards, if he didnt want credit for doing it, he wouldve edited it out.
@@nullakjg767he didn't edit it out coz there was funny banter from Ollie and Zach
The hotdog has a interesting history behind it. Basically, the CEO tried to tell the co founder that they needed to bump the price up on the hotdog combo. The co founder basically told him if he did, the co founder would kill him. So the price point is here to stay.
The family-run Arizona Tea company refuses to sell their cans for more than a $1. They've changed manufacturing, materials, and have accepted less personal profit to keep the price at $1. Integrity still exists!
@@Deedoof itll be nice while it lasts. eventually someones gonna get greedy, then boom 3 bucks a can.

@@seabass819 When Covid happened I noticed the metal on the cans got thinner(less material) but they kept the cans and bottles at $1. Arizona Tea made statements about keeping the price at $1 for as long as possible. It's just nice to know when brands actually care about their customers.
I love that the old lady asked Josh for help because she saw Josh helping other people with their cellphones! You guys are really nice people. love y'all! ♥ "you docusigned her will?!" bit was hilarious hahaha
I honestly expected a Zack King edit on this video. Some kind of magic trick. I'm glad you guys got to see costco. The fun thing is to go there and try the samples of foods they offer, but you have to be there before 3pm. Also the reason the hot dog is that cheap is because the owner said he wont allow it to be changed ever.
I bet they gave Zach a ‘day off’ of editing. Love this chill convo
He could’ve done it with the tv.
Yesssss, how were the samples missed???? That’s a full meal FOR FREE!
Zach is 100% on the nose with the Disneyland suggestion. Not only a food review, but the general experience with the rides, parades ect. I could see it being at least a 3 part series. Love your content!
I’m thinking they probably did, although getting permission to film in Disneyland can be challenging going.
I was thinking this might have been from the LA series where most of the vids dropped last year, but the hair looks different so this might be from a more recent trip. There were suggestions for Trader Joe’s and that dropped a few days ago. Then Costco and here it is. It seems like a different trip and I’m thinking Disneyland and/or Porto’s could be next. Maybe even Korean food in OC, although that might work for Korean Englishman.
They would need to bring guests though to make it crazier. I suggest pairing the college kids against the rappers and instigate some sort of competition to ride rides and eat food!
If they end up doing a Disneyland food review they have to try the raspberry macaron from Jolly Holiday cafe. It’s not as iconic as some of the other things but it is absolutely amazing!
@@chrisroberts6121genius. Expensive, but genius 😂
YESSSS I WANT TO SEE THEMM GO TO DISNEYLAND NOW!!
I can't believe you guys didn't get a rotisserie chicken. Their number one loss leader, 4 dollars for a whole chicken and it is delicious.
I can get three meals from one rotisserie chicken.
maybe its different over there but the rotisserie in the uk costco tastes pretty bland

Oh, my heart! Josh helping that old lady with her phone was so sweet. There are tons of people (influencers) who would have been rude or annoyed at her. Thank you for being one of the good ones!
I’m so happy for you guys that you got to go to Costco. Josh has been a secret American for a while now and nothing is more ‘murica than the excess of Costco.
I’m Canadian and we go to Costco every weekend now. They kept prices under control during this inflationary rise way better than our local grocery stores..
There's Costcos in the UK also. Surprising they've never been.
@@level7041I feel like people forget Canada actually is like America with stuff , they even have Walmart and golden carol 😂😂even gun laws aha

Nothing is more Merica than going to the Costco and an older person comes up to you asking for an explanation of something- so weird and wholesome at the same time🥰
Watching them unbox the tv in order to fit it in the car is the true Costco experience. You have no idea how many times I have seen this being done with electronics and furniture in the Costco parking lot.
And if we push the passenger seat all the way up and put this in your lap and it's not a long ride home, you'll be fine.
@@mmmpotstickers8684 Absolutely! Buying (and eating) the pumpkin pie was also up there. Wish they had gotten the rotisserie chicken too. LOL
I tried to unbox a Costco freezer in the parking lot once to make it fit in either my trunk or back seat. I was failing, then some guy pulled alongside in a pickup, asked where I lived (about a half-mile away), and offered to carry it for me. Suspicious me was worried about getting my freezer stolen, but at that point I was desperate. Guy followed me home with the freezer, helped put it on my porch, refused the 10 bucks I offered, and drove off with a friendly wave!
@@jcbaker10 Love this! There are still good people in this world. Pay it forward.

The Costco pumpkin pie is amazing 🥧 🤩
The churros changed recipe. They used to be soft and now they're crunchy. Flavor is still good but the texture makes a big difference.
Fun fact: Costco's cheese pizza has more calories than the pepperoni because it has twice as much cheese 😅
The cheese pizza is awesome!
Yea the churros were good back in the day! This is the only pumpkin pie I love now.
@@priscillaleung8885 before the churros used to be a stick and not the twisty ones and those ones were absolutely delicious! The fruit smoothie, imo, used to be better also but they changed both of their recipes or something. I think the fruit smoothie one was to "make it healthier" i saw somewhere but its not as good now.
Make sense, I remember the Churros used to be really good and then it was like so dry and doughy. Although its gone now for a really big and warm cookie instead.
Sadly, the churros are no longer on the menu.
Josh helping that woman with signing a document using her phone is EXACTLY an example of why I love this channel.
Josh and Ollie are so relatable, kind, supportive, and informative.
I think Ollie is especially adorable. I watched the earlier videos of him and Josh with his baby daughter... made me cry.

So wholesome, Josh didn't even think twice about helping her.
@@SusanSloate Juno's trip to Korea is my favourite playlist ever.
"I think he's subscribing her to your channel" the wit and sarcasm is a reason Jolly is my 2nd favourite channel on RUclips
Seeing Josh help that lady was so sweet. I’d trust both of you with my drink.
Now THAT is high praise.
Josh helping the lady with her cell phone was the best! She had no idea you guys were filming, nor did she understand the interruption, but you were willing to stop and help. Beautiful. This is what life is about. With that said.....I need to be on my way to WalMart😅! Happy New Year, everyone.
Josh is so kind. He deserves all the happiness in the world. Ollie, you do too!
I’m an old lady. I wish I had been there with phone problems. Even better, it would be so fun to host you two and your crew. I had forgotten about Zach’s videos. I’ll subscribe and go down that rabbit hole tonight.
I love it when you enjoy things from the US. Enjoy California!
Old ladies are the coolest
Me too! This is my CostCo in Woodland Hills at Victory and Overland. Can't believe my bad timing!
Josh helping that old lady really just warms me up inside 😊
It's really weird how people randomly come up to people asking for help. I'm not super tall or anything, but I get my share of people asking me to get something from a higher shelf than they can reach.

I love that Josh and Ollie are totally in sync at 10:50 when they clap their hands together and rub them haha 😂
Seeing Josh jump to help that lady was legit wholesome. Your content always makes me smile, but that gave me the reason to drop my adblocker for you guys
Definitely need that Disney food tasting now 😅
Should hit Disney world in October for the food and wine festival, tones of sampler menus especially in Epcot.
They definitely have to eat around the world in epcot, I think they’d be so impressed!

If they go to DW, then I hope they bring Juno.
OMG Zach is right if you guys were to go to Disneyland, the video would literally go viral. The food is so good there, and they essentially have almost every kind of food there. I am a big disney food enthusiast lol. Some famous foods are the churros, dole whip, pickles (fried&non fried) bread bowl soups, chilli cone queso and my personal favorite is the 5 cheese ravioli. You guys could literally make so much content there.
In Mexico the Cosco has dispensers for diced onions and sliced pickled jalapeno which went well with the chicken bake.
I absolutely love that Josh helped the woman with her phone issue. It proves how big their hearts really are! ❤❤
Josh, you are so sweet for helping her in the middle of your filming. You could have handled that in so many ways, but the way you handled it was exactly why we love you. Your character is admirable. 💓
I agree. He'd already jumped up to help her before it had probably even properly registered. And he had such Korean humble and respectful body language too ☺
Aww 3 of my fave in one video, Zach was the vine king that made my teenage years quite entertaining and now with Josh and Ollie with him that I watch whenever I got home from work. This is really nice to watch and see them all together ❤️
I really liked the sort of "interview" vibes, during the section talking about the old physical comedy parallels. If you guys ever need another series idea, I feel like that's a perfect setup right there. Interview other online content creators while eating good food, maybe while having them show you their favorite restaurants. like those older videos with Steven He
Josh helping the old lady is so heart warming.
Josh helping that woman with her phone was truly heartwarming.
The only deal that's better than the Costco food court is the free samples. On weekends you can have a good (though unbalanced) meal just by walking up and down the aisles taking samples from the demo people.
Me and family used to go to Costco (then later on to Sam's Club when I moved to Michigan) on the weekends to basically get a good meal just by walking through the aisles. Saved so much on meals, and got good exercise through it as well
@@yamigekusu Less exercise mean less food needed
Samples was our free lunch on Saturdays when we were college students!
And the number of times you can keep going back for a free sample before getting the stink eye from the lady passing them out: 7!

I just recently started following y’all. Love the when the Brit children try American food. This video was amazing I’m a huge fan of Zach king. Loved this video. Thanks!
As there are about 30 Costco stores in the United Kingdom, I'd love to see you two visit those, and show us how they are different than the American Costco stores.
The main difference is UK Costco isn't for everyone. You need to be a member and there are restrictions. Usually businesses and you can get an account for charity affiliation as well. I doubt JOLLY would have difficulty getting membership but it's not as straight forward as just finding a store and rocking up.
@@tomj819US Costco is also members only. Rare exceptions like the pharmacy and in some states the alcohol section. Though getting a membership is a simple as paying a fee
@@tomj819wait, really, because Costco in the US is all membership based and serves both businesses and individuals. You can’t even enter the place without a member’s card. The gas and food court both require you get scanned in. Does UK Costco really only serve businesses?
@@PolymurExcel as far as I'm aware it serves anyone who is either VAT registered or VAT exempt, so businesses, sole traders, charities etc; but no, as a regular member of the general public you won't get a membership card in the UK unless something has changed in the 10 years since I last had one.
@@tomj819 That's very interesting because as far as I know costco membership work world wide. Unless the costco you're referring to are specifcially costco business warehouses because there are those that are spefically only for people with business memberships not open to the general public.

Imagine when JOLLY announces their next episode would be BRITISH MEN TRYING DISNEYLAND FOODS... that would be amazing AF lol
After the disappointing Trader Joe's pumpkin pie, I've been wondering how they would react to Costco's . . . one of my faves.
My best friend bought two in two weeks. It was funny to hear his confession. "I...got another pie...."
I was so obsessed with the pie as a kid when I got a full time job as an adult I started eating a slice every week lol
I'd love to see you guys go back to Costco and try their take-home-and-cook meals! Much better than their food court food
Yes! Agree 100% I’ve been waiting for you guys to do a Disney food review. Disneyland and Disney World. They have hits and misses but undoubtedly have the most strange but unique foods.
Try it all. The quick services to the sit down restaurants at the park and in the hotels
I used to watch the Korean Englishman waaayy back in the early days, and this is my first time back, after a lovely reintroduction on the Try Pod. So enjoyable and wholesome (accidentally wrote Wholesale from the Costco subliminal messaging) 😊
Yes, please do a Disneyland food review! Blue Bayou, Bengal BBQ, Tianna's Palace, Plaza Inn etc..... SO much good food there.
Don't forget the turkey legs. They are favorites of my family.
Blue Bayou! OMG! I used to go there JUST to order the Monte Cristo sandwich!! LOVED those! (I also found online a recipe for those sandwiches and am now doing them at home... they're yummy!)
Corn dogs, Turkey legs and Dole Whips are the must-haves!
Josh, you warm a mom's heart. Good on you for helping little old ladies with their tech issues LOL
This is a great trio right here seriously lol. Thank you three for the great video and I hope that all is well with you all. 🙏🍻
Loved watching your first experience at Costco! I miss their Polish dogs, which were also $1.50. And before COVID, they used to served chopped onions to put on your hot dog, miss that too!!!
Honestly this entire series should just be renamed “Josh and Olly Realizing The Importance of The American Revolution”
We may be fat. But at least we’re happy lol
The both of you just exude this charisma and humbleness that is unmatched here on RUclips. That's why it's always a joy to watch you guys no matter what the content is.
Wow. Pulling a big TV out of the box in the parking lot to squeeze it into your tiny car. That's CLASSIC Costco! Though of course it happens at all the warehouse clubs, and I've also seen it at Walmart and Best Buy.
It's crazy I recognized that costco from the get go. Definetly excited to see them go to other costcos for each region's specialty
Josh is a genuinely kind person 🫶🏼. Love him!
I can confirm that a lot of the food at Disneyland is good (and some not so much) haha, especially during the food festival times at California Adventure LOL. Like if y'all ever want to do a Disney food review, I volunteer as tribute to guide you through the dizzying variety of Disney branded yumyums. Like Ariel's grotto is now Lamplight Lounge and it is still super good. Don't worry, I gotchu 😂😂
But I do think if you do a Disney food tour you're going to need a minimum of 2 days because oof there is a lot.
A Disneyland and Disney World food review would absolutely blow up their views. A few of my favorite restaurants are what used to be Electric Umbrella, Teppan Edo, Garden Grill Restaurant, Contemporary Resort, and there are so many more that need to be tried.
I've been watching their videos since before I moved to London and I'm impressed how do they found every drink in the US super sweet when the drinks in the UK are the sweetest thing I've ever had!!! xD
This is the one I've been waiting for. My favorite store and my favorite RUclipsrs. I love these guys and everything they're doing. Both seem like such genuinely nice guys who are truly grateful for their experiences.
Josh stopping to help the lady, really makes me love Jolly even more.

Never would have expected a Zach King and Jolly collab but I'm SO HERE FOR IT
I'm kind of surprised y'all haven't gone to Korean Costco! It'd be interesting to do a comparison. And yeah, the chicken bake has major Greggs vibes.
They need to find someone who has a membership in Korea or get a UK Costco memership for them to be able to use it internationally. The UK has 29 Costco locations, seven within the outskirts of Londo, so we definitely need a USA vs Costco comparison!
@@anasandoval6698 I forgot there's Costco in the UK as well. They're freaking everywhere

Theres a few regional costco items as well, and a few you guys just didnt get. The chicken ceasar salad is pretty solid, they used to have a wonderful italian sausage in a bun with peppers and onions.... and of course the frozen yogurt.
Our Costco used to have a bakery and it is missed here in Juneau, Ak, but they got rid of it and the pies are very missed this time of year, and their cheesecakes they would make. Especially, the cheesecakes.
So glad we got this collab, love watching both ZachKing and Jolly!
The only better value for pizza I've ever seen is in NYC, where a couple of pizza places had a price war a long time ago. They ended up with $1/slice pizzas. Sadly they raised the price during covid, so now its $1.50/slice. Or $4 for 2 slices and a drink
That's still pretty good. I can't think of a place that has cheap slices like that in LA
I was in NY a couple weeks ago and walked past the $1.50 place - which had quite a line. I thought I must have traveled back in time 50 years!
IVE BEEN DREAMING OF THIS SINCE YOUR FIRST AMERICAN SNACKS VIDEO!!! SO glad you finally made it to COSTCO!!!

Wow! I'm so glad i caught this video this morning! I haven't had those hotdogs in a long while since they changed the brand. I mean they're okay but not they are not same. I think Josh and Ollie need a proper Costco experience like buying some of their meals and trying to cook them. That is and excellent suggestion, trying food at Disneyland, see if it matches up to the wonderful delicious foods they've had so far. I enjoyed this video! Well done guys! ☮️ and 💕
This is the first time I heard of Costco and I like what I see already! After all, they have pizza slices, pumpkin pies, hot dogs and drinks at big sizes that remained somewhat cheap.
P.S: If quirk is real, I can see Josh will be divided between becoming a RUclipsr and a pro-hero.
Costco is fun and you find stuff you never knew you needed. The pies are great. The apple is fantastic.
The pumpkin pie is seasonal and is also baked in store. What you need to know, and DEFINITELY TRY is in May/June, they have a box of six or eight "mini" individual raspberry cakes (so fluffy and moist!) topped off with a raspberry cream cheese icing with white chocolate shavings. IT.IS.TO.DIE.FOR!!!! They only make it up until July I believe, and then they swtich to a different flavro, but trust me when I say there is NOTHING "mini" about those cakes/cupcakes. They keep them refrigerated bc of the cream cheese, but they're like $9 and absolutely WORTH IT!
@@anasandoval6698 I'll have to try it!
Costco is like your grocery store and Walmart put together, they sell almost everything you need, it's meant for families and people who need to buy in bulk, not to just run to the store for something you forgot
IMO Costco's buyer does an excellent job choosing which products to sell. They don't have a wide selection but what they do have is usually very good quality. Years ago there was an article that Costco doesn't mark up any item more than 14%-15% above their cost. It's how they keep items low-priced.
Always fun to watch your channel. Ya'll bring so much joy. It's what the world needs.
The thing about the pizzas is that they use a wire guide to precisely cut into one-sixths for individual slices sold. But if it's a whole pie some employees just kind of randomly cut where I've seen some slices pencil thin and others super wide.
I work a few stores down from a Costco. That $1.50 hot dog and drink combo has saved my sad poor hangry butt for lunch quite a few times. They sell those hot dogs in a big 12 pack so you can enjoy them at home too! Great in air fryer 🤘🏼
Tech support Josh to the rescue. Get's rewarded with a pumpkin pie. Love Jolly

Chicken Bakes were my favorite as a kid. But I think they changed them. They used to have perfectly recognizable strips of chicken in them, but now the inside of them looks more like chicken salad and taste a bit funny.
U guys didn't get the giant muffins they make in-house?! Those are amazing muffins! The chocolate ones are great but the corn muffins are my favorite.
A Disney food review would be epic. You would need multiple days as not to get physically sick from eating so much.
Bit of a miss, not trying the rotisserie chicken. Also, though not all Costcos have it, their sushi is surprisingly good. Great, and unexpectedly insightful video!
zach is so humble. love you guys all
This was so fun! I like how Ollie kept his hands in his pockets. The hotdogs at Costco in Canada are Lesters , I have never been to Costco in US. They are by far the best hotdog around and the same HotDog at stadiums, hockey arenas all around Canada. If you do a food review at Disney - please consider bringing Juno back for that content. I need to see Ollie chowing down on the turkey leg at Disney.
It's funny that Zach says what he did about the TV, because that's a sales tactic from Costco. The TVs are a couple thousand dollars, but the effects are psychological. It's saying, "I'm not here for a TV," but it makes the price of anything else, a laptop, a bag of avocado, potato chips, whatever seem like a great bargain in return.
The timing is perfect for PUMPKIN PIE!!!
Their pumpkin pies are my absolute favorite! Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 🤤😋
Just found the channel. I was gonna sub after the video, but i literally had to pause and do it mid-watch after you helped that old lady. 10/10 human beings 👍
Before Covid, costco had a bigger variety of hot foods but now they simplified it and the only thing worth is a whole pie and the hotdog. Not even a slice makes it worth it.
Side Note: Josh being pulled aside to help someone would be me out of all of my friends.
