This is why you have five needles. You don’t have to keep one stitch on the fourth needle and push the others down. Just use the fifth needle and knit all the stitches of the needle. Then use the now free needle to start on the next one. 😊
I there a reason you made an increase and knitted one stitch before the marker but knit 2 stitches and then made the next increase? From other patterns I’ve followed they usually try to have that symmetry of (inc, knit, marker, knit, inc)
Yes! Once the piece is worked on more - you’ll see 3 long lines of knit stitches that indicate the raglan look. You can do the “normal” knit raglan look where - its an increase - stitch marker - 1 knit stitch- another increase. So one line of knit stitches show the raglan look. I hope that makes sense because im fairly new to knit raglans! 😊
preference & learning a new skill! I’ve seen knitters make sweaters using double pointed needles for the smaller areas & then use circular needles for the larger parts. I like the finish look of that process a bit more. I’m also not a huge fan rn of constantly having to feed the wire through the stitches with the circular needles - in order for me to knit the neck area in the round. But this is all possible with just 1 circular knitting needle! 😊
I'm so excited to try this thank you!!!!!
@@erinthomas5463 sooo fun ! Enjoy!! 🤍 let me know if you run into any issues!

is there a reason why u didn't use circular needles the whole time? or was it just preference/learning a new skill?
