When I tell you I immediately paused the video to go put on Delina and Mango Skin- OMG! How have I had these two for years and loved them both but never thought to layer them?! Marlena you're a genius! Also, for funsies I also sprayed Electimuss Trajan- and i'll be wearing this combo all week.
Also, sun kissed hibiscus and mango skin is 100/10!

I was watching your video while I was around all my perfumes. I took my Jo Malone Orange Blossom and mixed it with the 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods and I swear it created Dolce and Gabbana Devotion (which I also own). So fun! 😄

Baccarat Rouge and TF Lost Cherry 😍 It might be similar to Delina, it sweetens it up but with cherry and hint of almond. I want to try BR540 with Commodity now! ❤

Hibiscus palm and Vanilla vibe is one I do in the summer. That tip I got from Jue de Rose. Love her! I like the Baccarat and Delina idea. Sounds like perfection. I was thinking about Dior blooming bouquet and trying a citrus or sweet amber. 🤔 I love the feminine idea of Dior but it is a bit too flowery ( duh, right) I will say the new Miss Dior is very, very nice!
I tend to gravitate to Autumn and Winter type scents and would love to get a video about combos of these types of rich, sweet, smoky even earthy scents and bringing them into the spring and summer.
That said, awesome video and it has my science nerdy chemistry side excited to try out some experiments with my collection!!😊

I layer fragrances a lot.. my top ones are: Olympea/Hundred Silent Ways + Vanagloria; Instant Crush + Velvet Vanilla; Oud Bouquet + Delina; Material + Mon Guerlain extrait; Ani + Ballet Rose.

Thank you for these!!! I can’t wait to try some new combos. My favorite perfume combo that people might think I’m weird for is mixing Lancôme La Vie Est Belle with Pink Sugar (a $5 perfume from 5Below). It would probably work well with any “sugar” sweet smelling perfume but this combo has gotten me more compliments than any fragrance in my entire life! The Pink Sugar was my 9 year old daughter’s and I just randomly mixed them one day and it smells so good! At least with my skin chemistry it does. 😊🩷

I’m with you. But there are sites that do ‘decanting’ and you can purchase sample sizes. That’s how I’m spending my afternoon. Good luck with it. Try before you buy and not paying for the bottle. ❤
I tried Delina you show cases and I don’t use as much bc it is too tart for me. I did try with Burberry - Her and it helped cut down on the tart. (I don’t own baccarat rouge) Thanks!

I love all these fragrance videos you do, but I'm always uncertain how to apply my fragrance. I usually spray it into a cloud and walk through it, but people never notice it. I don't want to be one of those people that is overly fragranced, though. I would love a video with some information about the best way to apply it so people notice it up close, but don't get choked out from afar. 😂

Ooh... let me play with that one to see. I'm thinking Commodity Book would add the sandalwood to make it a touch woody but you could also add a floral like Gucci Bloom to make it an aquatic floral too.
Tom Ford Lost Cherry is nice with it. Honestly, Wood Sage & Sea Salt goes well with almost any fragrance you want to make more unisex and fresh. I’d stay away from mixing with anything powdery or aldehyde though.
I would layer it with something coconutty to bring out the airy, beachy vibe. Like 7 Virtues Coconut Sun or Nest Balinese Coconut oil

I couldn’t afford these perfumes my sister died two years ago and she had a few luxury perfumes and I barely wear them because they are so expensive. Viva la juicy by Juicy couture, YSL black opium , aqua de gioa, my way by Armani and code blue by Dolce and Gabana!

Well it doesnt make sense to buy Gucci bloom high price just to mix with more perfumes you have to buyhigh price. Good option would be to buy a high intensity flank of Gucci such as fiori or ambrosia and then pair it with a much low price but significant lotion or or fragrance. For example jasmine gucci bloom ambrosia is honey suckle based and jasmine. But it has less honey suckle note. Best to pair it with honey or honey suckle based lotion. I paried with honey body wash from lush. And the fragrance lasted longer with hints of honey jasmine throughout the day. Victoria secret has the best lotions longevity wise. Cherry fragrances last better with almond based lotions and washes. Mandarin pairs well with spices fragrances and grounds it. It makes fragrance more expensive. Perfume over perfume doesnt always guarantee long lasting and you sometimes get chemical frangrance affect. I find it better to layer with lotion and washes. Good try with the video but I think you are missing the point of fragrance complexity like BR 540 or Lost Cherry or even Vanilla spice. You have to add layers that compliment and ground the fragrance. Floral + Citrus not ground combo. And May I remind everyone the over use of coconut in fragrances. I have yet to find a tropical fragrance that is unique.
"tired of wearing Delina." Witch. Sacrilege. You can never get tired of that. LOL. I might need to look into these nest fragrances. I have the vanilla one but not the citrine one. But I do have Xerjoff Lira which smells like that pound cake. But I do think those nest ones seem simple and you can add them to things.
Can someone please explain it to me like I'm a five year-old? Because besides your basic scents (like vanilla, lemon, and rose) I have no idea what she's talking about. What's an "Oud"? What does a "milk" perfume smell like? I guess I'm just not sophisticated enough for this. I don't even own "Bacarrat Rouge" 🤷🏼♀😂
Oud is a common ingredient in many Arabian perfumes. It's a stronger wood scent that's a bit earthy. Milk perfumes will smell creamy
Baccarat Rouge Extrait is $460 a bottle..
