Extremely spot on in this video, very well done. Just a few quick asides though. 1. *This is pure speculation on my part so do not take this as a correction.* But Crow's existence being canon is somewhat unclear. While the PWAB is very clearly a canon and active faction at this point in the story, Crow himself could possibly just have been a stand in for a main villain role in AC+'s story mode simply because there wasn't any clear main villain for that game. *This is not confirmed one way or the other* but his knowledge on virtually the entire cast seems highly unlikely to be fully canon due to the ultimate role the PWAB holds in the grand scheme of the plot when the Conclave is discovered post GGX/X2. This also might just be a retcon. Justice clones are almost certainly non-canon for obvious reasons. 2. I can't exactly remember where this was stated, so please keep that in mind. But Testament survived the events of GG1 because Sol spared his life in a (at that time in his life) rare act of mercy due to sympathizing over the pain of being turned into a Gear against his will and out of respect for Kliff. That's basically it. If there are any mistakes or inaccuracies then I couldn't detect them in this video. Very well done, I'm looking forward to part 3.
1. Puting aside the question of what parts of AC+ are Canon, the only thing I'm sure of is that the GG World maintain the connection between Crow and Robo-Ky canon, it even says he is looking for him. This goes in line with Robo-Ky's Side Story where a Robo-Ky MK.2 is send to retrieve him. And well, I think is more that the PWAB know stuff about the characters rather than Crow alone. 2. IIRC, the games and material never specified how Testament survived or escaped in GG1. Only that after Justice's death, he regained control of himself and felt remorse of what he had done.
Crow is definitely canon and is a major character for XX, as his efforts to clone Justice were essentially a prelude to Conclave's plan to revive her altogether.
@@KuroNoTenno I genuinely don't know about Crow but if cloning Justice was possible, even at lowered power then the Conclave wouldn't have had to go to the lengths they were going to for Xrd. A similar thing happened when they hired the Assassins Guild to sabotage the operation to kill Faust's patient back before he became Dr. Baldhead because he was very close to accidentally discovering resurrection. Which the Conclave needed to keep secret at all costs because it was the crux of how they expected to merge with Justice and "guide humanity" to willingly give up their humanity WITHOUT resorting to an Absolute World. Basically even if Crow's existence is canon, Justice clones are almost certainly non-canon. Crow can still be canon and have almost all of his actions and knowledge retconned too. Like I said a few times at this point, X2's canon status is weird like that.
@@gearhead6042 No, Justice clones are canon, they wouldn't be such a major point in AC's story otherwise. Conclave went to the lengths of reviving Justice in Xrd because 1) Crow's Justice cloning was trashed by several characters; and 2) Because they managed to successfully use resurrections magic by reviving Zato and Eddie, so at that point they knew they could get the real Justice, so clones are no longer needed. I don't think Conclave was going to DEPLOY Justice clones like troops. They probably wanted a perfect copy that would be the next best thing to the original they couldn't get their hands on at that point. Crow kept resulting clones in his lab and they got trashed by whoever canonically found the lab. Another point in favor of Crow's canonicity is that he was the one who made Robo-Ky robots, which definitely are canon.

I mean, it's a series where most of the dudes are named after fucking rock bands and most of the attacks are named after either bands or albums (Ky's signature move is outright named Ride the Lightning for fuck's sake and he has a finishing move called Rising Force)
It's not a parallel universe. The Backyard is where the world's source code is stored, essentially. Think Akashic Records, but it's an entire dimension.
These are so good, I already cant wait for the next one
Thank you for this Woolie 🥰
My algorithm is insane/scary. Because I've been playing so much gg lately and can't wait to see how strive is gonna be.
Jesus fuck, this is SSS content, you deserve more views my dear Woolz
Incredible work again Woolie, the production values are off the chart. Around the launch of Strive I can see the view count shooting up big time.
Holy shit ArcSys nees to get on an anime asap, this shit slaps. Keep up the good work Wools can't wait for the next one!
Where is part 3, your voice is so good ! I loved listening to the lore !!!
Truly God's Work is Being Done.
there needs to be an anime of this holy shit its so interesting
There is doubt about what happened to Jam's Restaurant, but there is an ending in Story Mode in GGXX(?) that displays Milia and Venom fighting over Zato, causing it to be Destroyed.
The set up to everyone coming across one another in their quest to apprehend Dizzy is sick as fuck. Basically it's the reason why everyone appears on the character select screen
Don't be discouraged from turning up the music whenever you're not talking. Like at 14:12 would be the perfect time to let the music rock.
Are we all just gonna gloss over the fact that Faust straight up cured someone of being blind?
I played a lot of GG and thought I knew most of the lore, but didn't even know that whole golden discs event existed. Wow, there's so much I'm missing!
Even in Woolie's video Sol activates Dragon Install "totally on purpose"
