Man, I REALLY want this game.
Can’t believe I just heard about this game today. Any suggestions for simplifying it so I can play it with my 80 year old non-gamer dad? He commanded a battery of mobile howitzers during the Cold War in Germany and tow behind artillery in Vietnam so I think he’s gonna destroy me and ask about upgrades immediately but it needs to be “non-intimidating” to get into.
I once moved my Cromwell against my dad and I ended up rolling a crit and 3 hits against his t-34. Naturally he rolled all blanks
From the few games I played high mobility tanks seems to be the way to go!
Initiative is much more important than mobility. You can move all you want, but if opponent moves after you, it can always pick a favourable position.
There is one hill and two tanks opposing each other both in hull down position, what bonuses do they get? Do they both get hull down and cover?

Interesting. Is it a special edition or anything? I have Firefly (and all the expansions) and didn't recognize the box. That's part of what piqued my interest.
@@daywilliamt Do you mean the one next to the Tyrants box? That's the original packaging version of the base game before any expansions were released.
With these kind of dice rolls we would still be fighting ww2 today.
Even after watching this I still cannot figure out does defender get a cover bonus if attacker is in the forest? According to rules that appears to be so because line of sight passes through forest, at the same not sure how much sense it makes.
From memory the rule book says to ignore the terrain under the shooting tank.
Is M-26 Pershing heavy or medium tank? I found image on your site that says its heavy but in box flier says its medium.
Should be heavy.

Do the individual tanks you can buy come pre primed for painting?
They do indeed! In their nations colours, what you do with them after that is entirely up to you! Be realistic, or as creative as you choose!

helas, can i use the Tanks cards and minis for the World of Tanks: Miniatures Game ?
The mini's are the same, but the cards are different, to support the license and game play.
Is it just me or does the gameplay seem really boring because the chances of getting any damage through on an attack is very unlikely? It doesn’t seem to have learned the lesson from xwing the defence should always have a lower chance of success than attack to move the game forward
