    Somersault - Lyrics
You're the prince to my ballerina
You'll feed all the people's parking meters
You encourage the eating of ice cream
And you would somersault in sand with me
    You talk to loners
    You ask 'how's your week?'
    You give love to all
    And give love to me
    You're obsessed with hiding
    The sticks and stones
    And feel the unknown
    You feel like home
    You feel like home
You put my feet back on the ground
Oh, did you know you brought me home
Yeah, you were sweet and you were sound
    Can you save me
You're the wars in my summer's breeze
You're the ivories in my ebony key
You would share your last jelly bean
And you would somersault in sand with me
You put my feet back on the ground
Oh, did you know you brought me home
Yeah, you were sweet and you were sound
    You save me
You put my feet (back on the ground)
Oh, did you know you brought me (home)
Yeah you were sweet and you were (sound)
    See I have tried
You still bring me around 'n around 'n around
    'n around 'n around 'n around
    Yeah yeah oh oh
    You brought me around
    Yeah yeah oh oh

Sia is complete when she was with Zero 7. Her style of singing and Zero’s rhythm were made for each other.. They both are not same without each other. Both sound so different.

Sia/Zero 7... Destiny...there is no other song that stops me in my tracks as it does.....it is relational in my life, and had a sad ending....the entire production makes me relive the time....that person is in my heart, will slways be there...even though it was unworkable...2 people that were at odds in life, unanswered, unresolved....Destiny summed it up....

I was lucky enough to be turned on to Zero 7 from the beginning by the local University station in Detroit WDET! Their music is magical and timeless! There is not a day that goes by I don't listen to them while I exercise! They are a spiritual tonic for me! Thanks for Posting! I would travel anywhere and anytime to see these guys if they got back together! BTW the backup singers never got the props they deserved! Without them I don't think it would have been the same sound. Was not aware how often they added to this heavenly sound and I believe they need Kudos!

You're the prince to my ballerina
You feed other people's parking meters
You encourage the eating of ice cream
You would somersault in sand with me
You talk to loners, you ask how's your week
You give love to all and give love to me
You're obsessed with hiding the sticks and stones
    When I fear the unknown
You feel like home, you feel like home
You put my feet back on the ground
Did you know you brought me around
You were sweet and you were sound
    You saved me
You're the warmth in my summer breeze
You're the ivory to my ebony keys
You would share your last jelly bean
You would somersault in sand with me
You put my feet back on the ground
Did you know you brought me around
You were sweet and you were sound
    You saved me
You put my feet back on the ground
Did you know you brought me around
You were sweet and you were sound
See I had shrunk yet still you wore me around
    And 'round and 'round

The whole crew from the start was a collaboration of such talent across the board. Times change. And people do. But without a doubt, they set the meter so high that a couple of decades later there is nothing and no group that can compare. Like the short lived Toy Matinee, Zero 7's time is set in time. And one in a million forever.

What's amazing to me is people just casually taking places here and there, a few notes from the bass, and Sia starts singing and this wonderful musical experience happens from the same space that moments before was quiet and mundane. Came here from watching Jake bar scene dancing in Annapolis. I was paying more attention to the music than the movie.
