- Видеоклипы
all three songs are listed and played in order as they appear on Heather Alexander's Midsummer album the third song is Courage Knows No Bounds
Untill i found this i knew only March Of Cambreadth. I supposed it was just a war-song (a very good one), but the whole trilogy adds beautiful perspective.
I thought at first it was a real historical song.
Not only John Ringo, March is used as the battle music piped in the enemy as static interference during arguably the best battle in the whole series in the book Defiant in the Kris Longknife series. It is is beyond epic. Sad though because there is so much loss after.
great artist hope he is happy
He's still doing his thing, more happily, as Alexander James Adams!
@@AnimeSunglasses She probably is not.
@@godfrey_of_america Sounds like a You problem.
Unless you mean "in the current political climate", in which case, trust me, the only thing worse than facing persecution is facing persecution while denying yourself.
I only found March for Cambreadth yesterday and only just found out its part of a trilogy five mins ago they are so epic .
Ah, but have you heard "Happin' Frog of Cambreadth"?? ;-)
A wonderful trilogy of songs to play/think about Fire Emblem to.
I got to sing with Heather Alexander. At a syfi convention. Best memory ever.
"March Of Cambreadth" is on "Keepers of the Flame" by the long missed Phoenyx - Celtic Rockers that included Heather Alexander on fiddle and vocals.
I have loved this three-song suite for years. Thanks for posting them together!
Heather Alexander! One of the most beautiful voices ever! Years ago she was performing at the Renaissance Faire at Whitman College in Walla Walla Washington! My hand thrown pottery booth was next to her.....she was so gracious to trade me one of her albums for a piece of my pottery! I will always cherish this memory! Love you, Heather!
His voice you mean;)
Explains the feelings far better then any metal ive ever heard
I've known her/him for years, I can't think of a better trilogy of songs unless you add black unicorn to the list. Over here the years I've lost all of her CDs traveling with faire circuit so thank you for this.
I love Heather's work! I use the March the get pumped up on the drive to the Renaissance Festival for work. Makes it feel more intense to go to battle with the Renfest lol
Wow, absolutely amazing!
i have not seen much from the new version of heather .am very interest in seeing him
I met alec a few months ago. He is an absolute delight, he absolutely lights up the room! Played more guitar than fiddle at the con i went to, but still magical.
You own nothing, John Snow.

Heather is now Alexander James Adams.
He seems to be doing well.
Just got his knees replaced and is healing.
He seems to be in a happier place than she was.
Heather had a beautiful voice.
Alexander's voice is different, but I love it just as well.
@@sharonbarbour6187 i know been following when i can .hope the world accepts him
Ah... Much thanks, Vampire!
I'm here because of John Ringo
There will be dragons? or kildar series?
Or maybe Aldenata? :)
Aldenata
Carrack090 The kildar series mentions the March in the first book.
best way to find this music.
You should have imported the battle scenes from the March of Cambreadth RUclips video for that portion of your mix.
cé mhéad acu a dhéanamh bás -- mar amhrán cogadh spreagadh
Likewise, Peter. Likewise...
And speaking of which, does anyone know the name of the third piece of the trilogy?
Courage Knows No Bounds.
LYRICS TO THE TRILOGY
Tomorrow I Leave For Battle:
Love me one more time.
Make this night last forever.
For on the morrow, I leave for battle...
I may survive
And I shall return to you
But come the morrow, I leave for battle...
And if I die, just remember I love you.
And you'll always be mine.
Let us warm up this cold night together;
Come the morrow, I leave for battle...
(Instrumental)
Until tomorrow
Let me love you forever
For come the morrow, I leave for battle...
And if I die, just remember I love you.
And you'll always be mine.
Let us warm up this cold night together;
Come the morrow, I leave for battle...
Yes, tomorrow I leave for battle!
March of Cambreadth:
Axes flash, broadswords swing,
Shining armor's piercing ring!
Horses run with polished shield,
Fight those bastards 'til they yield!
Midnight mare and blood red roan,
Fight to keep this land your own!
Sound the horn and call the cry,
How many of them can we make die!
Follow orders as you're told,
Make their yellow blood run cold!
Fight until you die or drop,
A force like ours is hard to stop!
Close your mind to stress and pain,
Fight till you're no longer sane!
Let not one damn cur pass by,
How many of them can we make die!
Guard your women and children well,
Send these bastards back to hell!
We'll teach them the ways of war,
They won't come here anymore!
Use your shield and use your head,
Fight 'til every one is dead!
Raise the flag up to the sky,
How many of them can we make die!
(Instrumental)
Dawn has broke, the time has come,
Move your feet to a marching drum!
We'll win the war and pay the toll,
We'll fight as one in heart and soul!
Midnight mare and blood red roan,
Fight to keep this land your own!
Sound the horn and call the cry,
How many of them can we make die!
Axes flash, broadsword swing,
Shining armor's piercing ring!
Horses run with polished shield,
Fight those bastards 'til they yield!
Midnight mare and blood red roan,
Fight to keep this land your own!
Sound the horn and call the cry,
How many of them can we make die!
How many of them can we make die!
How many of them can we make die!
Courage Knows No Bounds:
I looked 'cross the battlefield,
Blood seeping from my wounds.
My comrades, they did never yield,
For courage knows no bounds...
And yet, I thought as I stood there,
Of all that it had cost.
For what we gained, it seemed not fair,
For all that we had lost.
They spoke of honor, faith and pride,
Defending for our home.
Through honor all my friends have died!
Their faith left me alone.
We fought for greed, we fought for fame,
We killed too much to tell!
The devil and God were both the same,
We worshiped only Hell.
We fought it seemed for a thousand years,
A million nights and days.
Sharing one laugh with a hundred tears,
Seeing clearly through a haze!
Then came that day I know not when,
Beneath a blood red sun,
A-top a pile of dying men,
They said that we had won!
Another tract of land is all
The territory gained.
Will that ever pay for all
The lives here lost or maimed?
Bodies lying all around,
Blood bathing them in red.
Their white eyes staring at the sun,
These, the countless dead?
I looked across the battlefield,
Blood seeping from my wounds.
My comrades, they did never yield,
For courage knows no bounds....

Heathers music is great. Too bad she lost her voice though.
Heather didn’t lose her voice
He still has a great singing voice. Different, but still great.
