Thoroughly enjoying the videos! My Ovation of course is not brand new--found it second hand but wow--its it phenomenal. I have learned SO much from your detailed instructions! Watching the whole series!
Great videos! I cannot thank you enough for showing them all to me. I live about 2.5 hours from where I would have to go for lessons and that is internet traveling at 75 mph. To far, too long a drive round trip and a lot of wear and tear on my vehicle and me to do it. You're my life saver learning this brand new serger.
Your videos are awesome! Although I do not have an Ovation, I am finding your videos applicable to my Evolution and very helpful. Please keep them coming!
...:) I'm getting ready to leave for the National ASG Conference in Indianapolis next week, I'll try to squeeze at least one more in before I go. Then I'll be back on track, posting videos every week starting the 10th of July!
Thank you very much for your videos! they are great and very helpful! I've just bought Baby Lock Ovation serger, haven't tested it yet. I'm very happy that I found your channel! it'll help me to get started with my new "sewing friend" :)
I'm so excited for you, you're going to love your Ovation! Keep me posted if you have questions... it may end up as a topic for an upcoming tutorial :) ...and thanks for watching! Jen
I did a quick search, it looks like a nice 4-Thread serger. I haven't had the opportunity to work with that model, so I don't have an specific tips... But, I did another Serger series... The Bernina L460. Most of the videos cover techniques that can be done with any 4-Thread serger. Here's a link to this playlist. Thanks for serging along with me! ruclips.net/p/PLseQVksFDkNuRFUstETP_z8n1Oi7kAkWc
Thanks Anna. Most seams end with something else that "finishes" them. They may be sewn into an intersecting seam or folded up into a hem or neckline finish. If I'm leaving a raw edge at the hem, I sew a bar tack across the serged seam near the edge and then just trim the tails. If I'm working on something special, I may use a bodkin and thread the tail back through the looper thread on the underside of the seam. ...A little dot of Fray Check will keep the threads secure too!

I wish she showed the seams each trial, after explanation.....if not I don’t have any idea if it worked
Sorry I missed your comment, and sorry I didn't show the samples (I should have!!)
Where is your video about cover hem stitch; how to start to be sure to sew on the hem (who is under) and how to stop/secure the stitch. Thanks again 😊
