Jennifer, I don't own an Ovation serger but I am learning so much that I can apply to my Imagine. Thank you for this series.

You are amazing. Thank you so much for this series. I have a Babylock Evolve that has been way under used. So far everything in this Ovation series can also be applied to my Evolve. I'm already using it more.

I’m making a garment using plush fabric that is fuzzy on both sides with my Ovation. 4 thread overlock. Should I keep the blade up or put it down?
Thank you for your great videos!

I always keep my blade up...to keep me straight (just skimming the fuzz). One thing to think about - Sometimes using the serger to sew seams on heavy fabric create really bulky seams. You might want to do a sample to see if you like the seam allowances encased in the looper threads together. If it's too bulky, try sewing on your sewing machine and topstitching the seam allowances open. This makes a much flatter seam :) Hope this helps

Now have several items with really bad stitches. Is there an easy way to remove the stitches?

Sorry to hear that! ...Good news, here's an easy way to take out a serged seam! I just updated this video with a technique shared with me by one of my subscribers :) ruclips.net/video/Gu3KZreLtME/видео.html

Hi Jennifer I am having trouble with feeding a light weight knit. It is very stretchy and has a flecked metallic surface (don’t think this has any thing to do with my problem) . When I stretch it it looks like a tiny ribbing fabric . My problem is that it scoots the top fabric and causes a bubble on top of the lower layer. Sometimes even jamming it.. I noticed on some of your samples the Ovation seems to be causing a bubble also in front of the sewing. In your cases it did not seem to cause a problem . But in mine it did. I tried every differential setting. And it still did not feed well. The only thing that seemed to work half way decent was to put a water soluble topper on. I own a Huskvarna and never had the scooting (so to speak). Is there something else I should be adjusting. And would the foot pressure on top of the machine help or is this only for a cover stitch

Hi Barb, Try using a strip of lightweight washaway stabilizer under the fabric. This may allow the layers to sew together without shifting (or scooting :) I like Sulky Solvy Stabilizer. Here's a video showing that how to use it when you're doing a rolled edge on tulle ruclips.net/video/xDH8o88V7GA/видео.html
