Those of you that don't have the Ovation, these videos have been a huge help for me on my humble Baby Lock Evolve. Thank you, Jennifer. I've even gone to the point of downloading the Ovation manual as it covers more stitch issues then the Evolve's manual does.
Wow! This is sooolo helpful . Does that means I can use this to make my constructive stitches while finishing the raw edge of my seam? I can’t wait to try it .Thank you! I have been watching the whole series. These are very valuable lessons !
Yes you can! ... as long as the seams are not stressed. If you're making a snug fitting garment from woven fabric, you need to set up for a 5-Thread stitch and get an accurate 5/8" because it's stronger. If you're making a loose fitting garment, then the 4-Thread stitch will work great! Thanks for watching
I've watched a few in this series now. Absolutely love them. I've recently ordered three ovation and eagerly waiting delivery. This video's are going to help meet im sure.
I would have to agree with others, the zebra was distracting. Otherwise, great video, you are a great teacher and I wish you lived near to me and I would be begging you for lessons in person. Great job.
If it wasn't a video I wanted to watch closely he would have been fine. He was cute and even funny but he got in my way....lol. I love to watch your videos, I am such a fan already and have only seen a few.
Hi Robin, Thank you for letting me know... Good News it was a one time thing I did for fun because I'm a big John Oliver Fan. No more zebras I promise :) (and thank you for watching)
My machine doesn't seem to be catching the chain needle. Every time I go to stitch, it pulls out. My needle is in all the way. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
Thank you Jennifer so far I have watched 4 of your videos and they are going to be a great help.
I'm so happy to hear :)
These videos are so useful. It's like having a professional from Babylock in your home answering all your questions. Thank you for creating them.
Thank you so much... Keep me posted if you have a topic you need help with.

Sorry for the zebra... I'm a big John Oliver fan and I couldn't resist. He is only making a one time appearance :)
ps... I do travel to teach at Sewing Machine Dealers... Let me know if you want me to send a workshop brochure you can give to your Dealer :)

The zebra!!! Lol!!! He's hilarious. Love him. He's not too distracting.
So sorry I missed your comment... Thank you for watching!
My machine is not catching the Chain needle at all. It just is pulling off. What am I missing? I’m threading properly.
Hi Pamela, did you check to make sure your needle is inserted up all the way?
Great info. Thanks
Sorry I didn't see your comment until now. Happy to help, and thanks for watching~
I love your videos but yes the zebra was distracting.
