@eesnwahc i think dokkan is at a point where "super looked bad so the animations HAVE to look bad" dosent work anymore, i dont think his animations are bad doe their decent and looks good at some parts but its just TURs always look worse then LRs and i get it higher rarity etc i see that point but still it just rubs me the wrong way animations **purposely** being held back because they just ride off those excuses and think "people will settle for this because its just a TUR" imo its still a premium unit people pay money for or people spend stones grinded for hours if not days for, i dont think we should settle for anything these tur animations can look better and they have looked better and they should. Thats just my opinion tho

@@lemonsodaa5694 First half? Except for the few minutes, in totality, Shida was hired to animate the climactic battles, the entirety of DBS was a slideshow-not just the first half.
They for whatever reason do the animations in 1x speed. But 99.9% of players plays in 2x speed so the animations at 1x seem like a slideshow for us.

If you adjust the video playback speed to 1.75, which is what translates best to the 2x speed from in game, it actually doesn’t look bad. Thing to consider is that it looks iffy due to the lack of particle effects in the aura. With faster speed I think you’ll find it’ll look a tad better.
Idk what people expect the DBS anime usually looked rough and this game is a mobile game making animations that look better then the source material... lol

@@lordwigstyle8017 You need to remember that the same team works on all of the units. This unit released at the same time as an Anniversary, which means his budget and timeline was lower. I agree with you, it doesn’t look quite as good, but there are reasons behind his shortcomings. His kit, however, could have been much better.
Honestly even the AGL side banner Goku Black has smoother animations. Still hope I get him but damn it's a bit rough.

@@danielaiken2048 Because they do. If you are too biased to see it then thats your problem. The individual frames are low detail, they look like far away shots but zoomed in. And the animation itself uses a low total frame count. A great animation might have 10 unique frames when a character is punching start to finish. To make the movement look fluid and real. Goku black here has like 2 or 3, which makes it look like a slideshow because it is so choppy. Im a huge Goku Black fan and love the visiom behind these attacks, but they were animated like shit

Well, the answer is because the moment Fraudku Black captures in the anime, is one of the rare instances where Toei hired a competent animation director to work on the episode, most of the Super anime looks like garbage, like this new Goku Black animations.

I'm sorry, but I've literally seen elementary school-aged children make better animations than untransformed Rose's. Like, what the heck was that slop? And his transformed sa animation is literally worse than LR Rose's version of the exact sane attack, which is over 4 years old. Combined with his wonky and very unfun passive, his big attack and defense numbers he'll be outputting will not be enough to get me to summon. What a subpar release overall.
This honestly rubs salt in the wound from Int TUR GB's fodder "EZA." I loved that unit since release and his animations are 10x better than this new GB's slop. I wish this GB was sacrificed to make Int TUR GB's EZA runnable.

I'm in the same boat as you actually. I wouldn't spend stones on it tbh. Just go for tickets and wish for luck. The only reason why I'll summon would be to get dupes for Vegeta and Trunks or Lr Fused Zamasu. Me personally, I can care less about Goku Black tbh. I'd rather get dupes for my existing units than to get him.

If you don't have the banner units then yeah you can summon. It's a fantastic banner overall. And if you do everything daily on Dokkan you can get 300+ stones every month so you'll be over 1000 in July for sure.
