The Ghost No one is an island, of course he repeated the lessons he was showered with growing up, we all do it. The difference was the impact of the message and how it resonated with multiple communities, his mastery and understanding of Sun Tzus “Art of war” shows up in his music and lyrics . The lessons spelled out in Niccolò Machiavellis - The Prince is all over “Hail Mary” it’s calculated and well written, extended metaphors (me and my girlfriend), pondering with existentialism and nihilistic themes (I wonder of heavens got a ghetto), Intellectual fallacies and access. Sure there’s definitely people before him that have screamed and beat the same drums but he provided the vessel and structure for those who couldn’t hear it to absorb it. Why do you think his body of work was one of the first to be studied at Ivy League universities, Tupac made being an intellectual available to everyone. I would suggest you take a deeper dive

@@Emoney559 - Actually, people who are putting him on a pedestal are only thinking of one aspect of his persona. When he sat down with a pencil and paper, he was a great rap artist. Very intelligent, very moving and motivational. And he was a good actor. He was a hard worker. As far as rap I rate him as the GOAT solo artist. But his life was as reckless as, actually more reckless than the average 20 year old. He didn't just make mistakes, he made huge mistakes which all could have been avoidable and led to his death. He didn't rape that girl but his timeline of what really happened was way over the top. He should not have even been in that predicament that he created. Not sure why he got shot up the first time, but it takes alot to have someone shoot you up in public. His retaliation music was uncalled for, " I effed your wife.."? C'mon man. I highly, highly doubt Biggie had him shot up. And his rolling with Suge Knight, stomping Crips when you're not gang affiliated. Shooting at off duty cops etc. I think that had he lived, well into his 30s or 40s he would have been a wise and powerful leader (maybe), but he didn't make it. Just like Malcolm was intelligent but wild in his young age. Malcolm lived to become a full grown man with a family. Tupac didn't. And that is very unfortunate.

I saw him on a poster as a kid. His eyes had me hooked as an eight 8 year old white kid growing up in Belfast Northern Ireland during the troubles.
I started listening to his lyrics a few years later, and realised though we were worlds apart I could relate to a lot of what he was rapping about.
I saw bombs go off, people get shot and us Irish were too oppressed and discriminated against.
From that moment to now I have loved him, he was so much more than a rapper, he was an educator, he spread important messages to the masses. I wonder how great he would have been had he have lived, maybe he’d have made it to be president before Obama, who knows. He certainly had the passion to make a change in this cruel world.

Such a shame he is gone 🥺 so smart and tallented, he was ahead of his time. 💓 The thing thats most disturbing is that what he was preaching is still relevant today. We should have been way past beeing a ignorant breed of people as we still are in general. I have a dream...... (and i am white, belive it or not ). Love him or hate him but for me Tupac is one of the greatest Mind and talent that the world has ever seen. Yes he got his weekneses and "bad" sides, but so does everybody. Nobody is perfect and its human to have flaws. Peace and stay safe.

2Pac was an enigma he had the right ideas the whole time. Most people who are familiar with his music, poetry and activism have known this for decades. He had fans and supporters of every background.

Big Facts. This man was poised to be the Black Civil Rights Leader of our time. And I believe had he still been alive this present movement would have taken place a couple of decades ago.

Words fail me. Way ahead of his time. The brother just explained the reasoning behind black lives matter ( as opposed to "all lives matter ") and some folks still don't get it till this day.

I wouldn't say he was ahead of his time. The sad truth of it is, his words reflected society in 1992 , and very little has changed; his message still reflects today's society nearly 30 years later.

Copyright I believe he was ahead of his time as a celebrity speaking about it. Only now do we have celebrities really starting to get involved and most of them are very cautious.

The fact that he's talking about what's going on right now shows that nothing has changed. Plus it's spooky that Tupac is wearing a Minnesota Vikings hat. Same city where George Floyd was murdered. R.I.P Tupac
