- ET revisits Tupac Shakur's legendary music career and the late rapper's passion for acting. In rare interviews, Tupac opens up about his portrayal in the media as his personal struggles played out in the spotlight. Following his role opposite Janet Jackson in John Singleton's 'Poetic Justice,' he shared how acting in movies influenced his hip hop career, and vice-versa. At 25 years old, he died on Sept. 13, 1996.

" I could give a FCK if you BLOOD or Cuz, as long as you got love for THUGS". -2PAC.
Exactly. Pac never claimed to be a gangbanger or gangster. People always accuse him for baing a fake gangster. He claimed to be a thug not a gangbanger or gangster. Pac was just a man that wasn't afraid to speak his mind and wasn't afraid of shit. He was militant. It is how he was brought up. He grew up around black panthers. That attitude was embedded in him since childhood. Pac was himself. He wasn't trying to be a gangster.

I remember being a kid in the 90’s and seeing my older brothers “All Eyez On Me” and remembering Tupac’s face. Tupac had a very striking/unique face and I’m always in awe when I see new interviews and angles of him.
Ultimately, although we may not like to say it, Tupac tragically died over actions he didn’t have to do. His nature as a contrarian really shows when speaking about longevity in the interview, he was dead a few weeks later.
He left behind a colossal body of work, but it feels like a lot of lost potential, and without the proper people behind you and the correct mentality that’s what many talented people can remain….potential.
The story of Tupac is a cautionary tale of the power of raw brilliance and the need for wisdom. 💔
couldn't hv agreed with you more king . uniquely gifted and a beautifully genuine soul gone too soon over a fatal error in judgement that fateful nite in vegas and lack of guidance. even so his incredible body of work or legacy reveals his depth of wisdom beyond his young years and the very reason he will continue to transcend time .he will forever be ma favorite artist and the goat for me . rest easy to thug angel makaveli the goat, forever immortalized in our hearts till eternity - 04L -🙏♥️👌🏼💯
And humility…
Pac was setup internally. He didn't die from gang retaliation
Well the government had him assassinated. Hired south side crips to shoot him up in Vegas. They had to get rid of him in order to usher in this agenda that we have today.
Glad we finally got to see some of these interviews after all these years! It's like Christmas for us Pac fans that been waiting and hoping the full cuts still exist. 🙏🏽
he had everything to live for. The personality, charisma, looks, charm, talent. One of my favorite films is his last one which is called "gang related". He was completely different as a cop and you can see the maturity and change in his performance. He was taken wayyyyy too soon. RIP TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR.
