The explanation during p1p2 of how you pick differently here in a single elim vs team draft was really insightful. The type of excellent content we have been spoiled with daily!
Field wouldn't have done much in LSV's deck: You need something like Fastbond with either Oracle or Crucible/Fetchland like Salvatto had (and even then I don't think it's that great).
Lovely to see your end of the draft and I did pass laelia and then tried to cut red. Had no idea what you were on, not suprising. Just wanted to comment on our game 1 where you said I should've played Etali before combat. That would've actually grown Laelia into a 5/5 and be out of range for the dragon. ❤
I recently had a 5 color green red aggresive deck that splashed for Oko/Minsc and Boo/Bowmasters/Swords and it was just awesome. Green feels so good in this iteration of the cube and I think people agree because it's rarely ever open
Little suggestion: the area of the screen where cards exiled with Laelia show up was covered with the Ultimate Guard logo, which made it a bit difficult to follow. Could you move the exiled window to some other position next time? Thanks! ❤
The really baffling thing is that cube is such a perfect place to let people do silly, powerful things. We can't have "serious" formats where every deck has a combo finisher, but we can have cube, damnit.
A team loss but I do like how we get the team draft overall result again at the end of these videos. There were a few before that the conclusion wasn't certain and wasn't mentioned.
Kroxa only damages your opponent if they don't discard a spell, in addition, if Salvatto has an instant speed way to kill Sheoldred, it can be cast before he draws for his turn.
I believe that's what he quickly looked up to double check the ruling on it. You only get the creature back if Sower leaves the battlefield. Would've been a sweet play, though!
How would you feel about doing a League stip where you use Matt Greiner's pick order? His decks always look wack but effortlessly trophy and idk how he does it
I can get behind a lot of LSV nonsense but this draft looked like it was done by someone whos never drafted cube before. I dont think the strat of drafting all lands and then scrambling to get enough playables is it lol

LSV Luck:
16 lands > misses 4 game-winning land drops
17 lands > draws 2 nonland card in 11 draws
13:29 5-colour "mostly fancy lands" deck, and passing up a 10th pick Field of the Dead without so much as a mention? Hardcore.

I cant believe he exiled ultimate guard with laelia!!

The consistent, solid, Cheon(s) shoutouts are *chef’s kiss*
You’re the best, LSV.
Now I have to pause the video and go watch Paul and Marshall cover Reid’s big win again. BRB.

The content just keeps coming, thank you, it's always a blast to watch :)

Weeoo Weeoo ulvenwald oddity picked
Imagine if we didn’t watch these for like a week straight, how wealthy we would feel.
I just can’t do it.
lmao instead I'm here minutes after release fiending for my daily dose
@@frebo2541same here brother
@@frebo2541exactly. We need to learn some disciple and the wisdom of saving our valuable resources.
a week... I don't think I've gone more than a few hours...
It's one of the best parts of coming back from a work trip. So many videos to catch up on!
Your server’s list is far better than the current MTGO list. Some of the recent updates have been baffling
He literally said it was the MTGO cube list lol
I think they meant that the server's list from previous videos is better than the mtgo one that they switched to
@@Julian-gk8gf exactly
Where can I find the list BTW?

At 32:30, wouldn't Laelia grow when you escape Kroxa? 🤔
I belive she only triggers when exiling from library right?
@@Mox_Normandy Nope, when a card gets exiled from library and/or graveyard.
OKO the BROKO!!! Strikes again!!!!
I like ephemerate over the seachrome. Can protect your creatures as well as setup later combo potential
My favorite vids are when Luis goes *deep* like this!
That LSV mirror was a spicy one.
“Usually when you don’t play a land on turn 2, you lose”
How about when you have 2 land and a mox on turn 1?
I love this 5 colour nonsense pile
A team loss but I do like how we get the team draft overall result again at the end of these videos. There were a few before that the conclusion wasn't certain and wasn't mentioned.
Game 1 vs Salvatto still seemed winnable, just needed to draw Swords or something for Otharri.
This is my favorite type of deck
Love me some 4/5color nonsense 👌
Noooo the Urza + Mightstone!
Came here to say just that! 😂
Tom Martell and lingering souls
LSVs otharri disrespect is potent
Taking out daredevil against selvatto means you can't casts his wheel of fortune with sheoldred out
29:21 Isn't Kroxa here lethal? I don't think they can gain life or kill Sheoldred before the draw trigger kills them
They only lose life to kroxa if they can't discard but they had cards in hand that turn
Kroxa only damages your opponent if they don't discard a spell, in addition, if Salvatto has an instant speed way to kill Sheoldred, it can be cast before he draws for his turn.
Is it just me or does it seem like there hasn't been an ancestral recall since forever in these drafts?
Love the title
58:58 doesn't elking sower get your thing back? Maybe not?
I believe that's what he quickly looked up to double check the ruling on it. You only get the creature back if Sower leaves the battlefield. Would've been a sweet play, though!
I've seen a bunch of these, and it seems like LSV almost always beats LSV when they play, so seeing LSV win for once did add some intrigue.
Amazing deck! :)
Cutting sylvion for figure seems very strange to me-but what do i know? Lol
Figure was basically Mons Goblin Raiders in the deck, but LSV identified part way through that he probably should have played an extra land instead.
Señor LSV, me gustan mucho tus vídeos
These 5 color decks do feel like legacy cube tho (except the 1 mox). Great mana does go a long way tho
Either more acceleration or more interaction would have gone a long way. The deck as it was is probably about average.
15 lands without a basic and still didn't even consider field of the dead.
The man wants to play his cards! 5 color!!
It's not a particularly good card in Cube. Salvatto's deck was better set up for it and even there it didn't look amazing.
Ah MTG. Keep getting mana screwed, add a land into instantly flooded the next game.
Can’t get enough 5 color delight.
31:50 What about returning Kroxa pre-combat and growing Laelia for each exiled card?
That isn't how Laelia works. He missed one counter, not 5.
I really wished you'd consider Kenrith. Would love to see it in action. Anyway thanks again for the daily entertainment!
Four picks in and already five colors...

I hear basketball can be more fun when no one tries to block your shot.
I am first.
Yessssssssssssssssss cube time baby! Thank you LSV
