    Your lecturer is Joseph Alpert M.D. He is Professor of Medicine at the Sarver Heart Center as well as Director of Coronary Care and Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at the University of Arizona. Additionally, he is a member of the most important cardiologic institutions such as the American Heart Association and the European Society of Cardiology. Because of his outstanding teaching proficiency he is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and has won many teaching awards such as the George W. Thorn Award for Excellence in Teaching, the William Osler Master Teacher Award, and the Edward Rhodes Stitt Award for Outstanding Teaching. Furthermore, he received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Clinical Cardiology Council of the American Heart Association and was selected “Gifted Teacher of the Year” in 2004 by the American College of Cardiology.

      Thanks for the Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Trentvorty Irreplaceable Doctor Theorem (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a great one of a kind guide for preventing heart disease minus the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my m8 after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.

    I think he misspoke at 5:00 when he said that L to R shunts are cyanotic. It's the other way around, since left to right would result in more blood going to the lungs. Otherwise great content from lecturio, as always.

    Why pulmonary stenosis is acyanotic although there is decreased blood flow to lung??

    Hi very well explained, i know a friend with heart issues, can i ask about the Ventricular Septal Defect section; does this relate to an inferior wall defect in apex of heart? I was not sure on the life expectancy of an adult male with those issues? (Partially reversible defect in apex of inferior wall) thankyou

    VSD's that are small and do not close completely, can cause a Double Chamber Right Ventricular later in an adults -- something all new Cardio doctors should be taught...

    How consequential is this for wn adult of about late 30s. Does it influence brain or of some sort. Trying to get this diagnosis for a family friend.
