As a newer PA grad who's working in cardiology, this was extremely helpful. Much clearer explanations involving anatomy and physiology effects than what I learned during school. Thanks so much!
DNP student here and ALL of your videos are insanely helpful. Don’t think I’ve ever understood concepts so thoroughly until I discovered your channel and that means a lot because I was a medic/corpsman in the navy for five years and a nurse for 6 before finding your page. Thank you SO much for all the hard work you do, it’s truly making a difference.
Thank you adding a clinical section. Wish I had something like this during my PA didactics but hopefully future medical professionals will get a great learning process
wow every year you show us how extraordinary you are Doctor. we really appreciate your efforts .... even if I see your video 10 hours I enjoy it and never consider it waste of time ... thank you for clear concepts and explanation Doctor
As an ex IV drug user with aortic valve calcification and regurgitation, I have wanted to know what OS going on with y heart. You explain everything that I wanted to hear from my cardiologist and was not told. The y just said keep getting cardio in. Thank you for this video. It’s always great to listen to an intelligent person speak
Hi! I'm a medical student and the ninja nerd has helped me A LOT! This channel was recommended by a friend, can someone please indicate me other wonderful study channels like this one??
Many thanks for this excellent video. It would be worth emphasising the causes of combine aortic and mitral valve diseases; rheumatic fever (as you mentioned), infective endocarditis, collagen disorders most notable Marfan's, and calcification of the valve.
Another good podcast.... seeing/watching my valvular regurgitation was Funky!! but I had to turn during my echo to actually see the Tech showing the blood regurg'ing, the Tech could change the colors of the heart/flow.
Hey sorry to interrupt- as per first aid in section of PV loops in valvular disease- for mitral regurgitation it says increased in SV as in they calculating stroke Volume of both( flow into systemic circulation plus back flow to LA ) Can you please look and clear it more closely for us By the way your each and every videos are amazing 🤩 it’s just that I had a doubt here so asked you
Dr. my father started IV antibiotics for 4 days now without having a blood culture test regarding his endocarditis which was diagnosed through heart echo. Is it too late now to have one and can we continue IV treatment without it ? Thank you for your help
I would like to know your retired videos have same topic of length of Aprx 2 hrs and this one 50 min which should I prefer ps I m from india and I need to study vhd for pathology
Microangiopathic hemolytic anemia are not seen with prosthetic heart valves but MACRO angiopathic hemolytic anemia are seen with prosthetic heart valves. Is it true ?

can mitral regurgitation leads to endocarditis. bcoz of the turbulence damage to the endometrium,
There is carotid thrill also in aortic stenosis
But Polyarthritis is a major criteria , and joint pain is minor criteria right ?
