I have to agree on the Enviolo gearing, The first e-bike I had with the carbon belt drive and the Enviolo hub, it was night and day compared to the standard chain and derailleur. I never went back to a chain after that, had 4 e-bikes all with the Enviolo gearing, certainly worth checking the hubs out, you'll never look back.

Just purchased my second R&M 1st was a Roadster with Enviolo and Nyon display five years ago, now my 2nd which I picked up last Saturday a Delite 4 with Gx option, extra 250w battery and Kiox500 display simply magnificent bikes.
At same price tag this is one of the best option for those who ride a lot

Bought my gazelle from FC. The top 3 concerns still remain:
1. Safety
2. Security
3. Weather.
Safety when riding - outside of London. Limited protected cycling infrastructure. I think this puts off a lot of peeps from cycling on the roads. Eg I wear a dual camera on my helmet when riding on roads. I have reported around 90 close passes when riding out on urban roads. So we need more protected cycling infrastructure to get to places and a proper protected cycling network for e-bikes to really take off.
Security- get the best locks and get it insured. Get the Connect module - with e-lock, e-alarm and GPS tracking.
Weather - sublime when riding it in fine weather, but not so when it’s cold, wet and windy. So need weather proof clothing.
Dank bike, can compete vs Cowboy and VanMoof no problem

I think these bikes are Riese and Mullers response to the German economic recession. People still want a good quality bike, but are now not willing to fork out 5K+ for a Multicharger, Delite or Superdelite due to lack of disposable income. Also the war in Ukraine and Germany’s continued support for them have meant that materials like Aluminium, PCBs, semiconductor chips etc have risen significantly in price.
These bikes are probably mechanically fine, made from less material than the traditional R&M bikes which brings the price down to a more affordable level on par with Scott, Bergamont and other continental Ebike manufacturers. They have to do this to prevent themselves from becoming the next Volkswagen
