This situation is very hard to defend and as a black kpop fan I’m so tired of idols offending my community, so I’m not sure what you wanted to really say with this comment. But as your pfp im guessing your an aespa fan, it’s not easy to just accept an apology and then act like everything is okay if that happens idols will never fully learn the consequences of their actions and will just get away with it. And yes no one is perfect but it human decency to just respect other races and cultures.

her apology to me as a black kpop stan is very half hearted and the n-word does not just slip out of your mouth if the word is Not in your vocabulary has not just slip up if the song is indeed by her favourite artists was she saying her apology that means that when the part comes up in the song he says the N-word in private don't think that she doesn't and I'm not assholes and even if I am an a****** to how does that affect you it seems like you don't want us to hold your idol accountable for that what she said. making black kpop stans feel bad for not wanting to accept her apology is so dumb and I guess I'm an a-hole for not accepting that apology. this is just perspective, not any hate to u or Giselle.

Of course everyone make mistakes but that doesn’t mean most people don’t take responsibility to their actions. Maybe you’re not lol. Anyways, Giselle choose to be a public figure. But she still need to take responsibility even if she’s a celebrity. Apologizing is something that take courage only if you’re sincere. Is she? right its up for them to accept or not the apology. She made a mistake and owned it up and apologized..
But then i realized that if we want to show our dismay, frustrations, anger (etc.) on her or anyone who committed and did the same thing ...may we criticize her action by pointing out "the problem that should be address.. educate her on the depth of her mistake, how it greatly affected the community involved and the deeper history of the issue.
I saw a comment in one of her vids saying she's racist..and korea is a racist country. That commenter might be really angry on Giselle. But its really sad that you show your anger and frustrations by labeling a country in that manner.
The people, races, countries are divided with different issues (that's why we should be sensitive of our actions) ... but you should never show to that person that she did wrong by spreading hate..//just to justify that she deserves all the insults ...that in that way of condemning her actions created a another issue and division. Coz in that way you are no longer different to from that person you are calling racist.
i'm not defending Giselle, coz it is right that she apologized to the community.... but i want her to learn her mistake by not creating another hate or creating another way of hating other race
my words may not fully explain what i really think or feel on this issue. and i respect those who were offended and hurt by the issue.

I agree to what you said that fans should not treat their idols like a children and just accept that they made a mistake, and let their idols and their company to handle the mistake. I'm shocked that SM let Giselle to apologize since I heard from someone that SM don't give a damn about the international controversies that are going on with their artists, but instead they make quick action when it comes to korean controversies. But since Giselle already apologize, I think there is no reason left to hate her, but in the first place there is no actual reason to hate her for her mistake, we just need to correct her and help her to understand that what she did is wrong. By the way stan Aespa they still make unique and good music. Always remember that naevis loves you. ❤️

You have the privelge to not be affected by what she said. If black people choose not to forgive her or support them that is their right. Also if they do choose to not support aespa doesn't mean they hate her it's just that unlike you black people deal with disrespect everyday and it doesn't help when an artist you like listening to, does an action that is offensive, whether intentional or not. My point for you is that just because you think she should be forgiven is a very entitled way to think. You have to step into another person's shoes, the people who were offended by said situation.
