- New Jeans held a livestream to demand that Hybe respect them and reinstate Min Heejin as CEO of Ador. The members were very vocal about disliking the state of Ador and the new plans for their company. They gave Hybe 14 days to reinstate Min Heejin as CEO.
Will Hybe listen to the girls or will these demands fall on deaf ears? Is New Jeans potentially ruining their careers? Will they force their way out of their contracts?

New jeans are ungrateful and spoiled. BTS went thru so much with bang pd and built the foundation and finances of Hybe. Those girls should learn from bts!!!!

Tomorrow is D day. I foresee a meeting tomorrow where they explain to them the following: 1. MHJ is NOT coming back. 2. Their live was a breach of contract and for that they owe xxxxxx. Hybe will forgive the penalty if they sign an NDA not to disclose the meeting content. 3. Tell them they can leave if they want, but the IP stays and the penalty is xxxxx. IP includes the name and the songs. Then they give them an offer they can’t refuse: 1. Shape up and apologize? and we will provide resources for your continued success. OR. 2. We put you on indefinite hiatus until your contract expires and you can leave but without the IP etc. I foresee a very big stick along with a small carrot!
IMO there is no way Nj can work until they get a psychological evaluation. Now that they have displayed mental irregularities I don’t think HYBE can let them work until their mental capabilities are considered stable. The LIVE was a nightmare for them. Gold for HYBE legal. Other than that I agree w you 100%. Do you see the parents had a meeting today with new CEO?

I’m sure their parents and their lawyers would have been there… at least for the one who is still a minor. I hope there are 2 sets of penalties… one for breach of contract with that Live, and another if they decide to leave early or violate any new or existing confidentiality agreements

You can't get reinstated when you're fired. She has no grounds. And the NJ members are acted liked spoiled, brats. What employee gives their boss an ultimatum? I think they have developed very negative attitudes. They don't get to demand anything. They are free to leave. They can buy themselves out of their contracts if they like.
The minute they said MHJ had nothing to do with the live was when I knew she was behind it. In my opinion, they are cooked. I think they will find out their choices and they wont like them.

The Hanni incident happened in May-June when MHJ was still the CEO. Why didn't she tell her mother then???
Also, telling the company to stay in its lane was very disrespectful, arrogant, and very much entitled. MHJ only cares about money and her ego.
It’s my understanding they did bring the Hanni thing to MHJ. She looked into it and said there isn’t anything she can do. (Probably because she herself had been accused of the same thing). So it dropped. Then they brought it up to new CEO that’s says it was handled, old and nothing she can do. But they presented it like the new CEO was dismissive. Just a truth spin for rabid bunnies I guess.

I'm sorry but New Jeans is the only group complaining none of the other groups are complaining at HYBE. This is hard work, and everyone knows this. NJ got a cushy start, but they were entitled, lacked humility, and quite frankly they are disrespectful. They complained about living conditions. How about living in a one bedroom apartment like BTS did; girl please. Their complaints had more to their lack of hygiene you get mold and bugs when you don't clean up after yourself, that's on their parents for not teaching them how to clean. You don't have a maid cleaning up after you. I don't feel sorry for them their viper leader is a thief and the lowest type of person. JK tried to help them by showing them they had support at HYBE as BTS as a group has a substantial stake in HYBE, but the NJ member were not smart enough to take the hint and olive branch and desert MHJ>

Im sorry the parents are awful. They didn't care about their childrens living conditions at the time, its just a stick to beat Hybe with. If i thought my kids were being mistreated, the whole world would hear about it. They only care about money
The living conditions the parents complained about were from before they were with Hybe/Ador. Once their contracts moved to Hybe, they got better digs, and they ultimately ended up in a luxury penthouse in the most expensive part of Seoul. They are completely ungrateful, disrespectful and rude. This drama with MHJ and NJ is not aligned with the culture at Hybe and with the other groups. They seem like bad apples.
I feel bad that MHJ caused so many problems for NJ’s. The problem is the girls aren’t making things better for themselves. I hope they have a wake up moment bc at this rate, things won’t end well.

Respect is earned. They're expecting to be respected after airing that live and telling your new CEO to "Stay in your own lane and it's best you don't do anything"? They need to know they're unprofessionals so HYBE better serve them a Notice to Explain and a disciplinary action.
Hybe did better than that they sent individual letters to each member, those girls have been given a choice they're all replaceable, anyone of them that decides to hold out will be in violation of their contract.
Once they've violated their contract they will be dismissed and replaced.

MHJ Pontius Pilate her way out and told the media that she knew their plans and tried to advise them not to do it.. washing her hands innocently. Well MHJ did not try harder to stop them and she can if she wants too. Now KBS deletes this interview. Obviously, these Korean media have been paid and kept airing the live video for almost a week as if there are no other issues going on in their country. Hanni's mistreatment can barely be considered mistreatment. You get what you give. When you act like entitled spoiled brats others won't want to be friends with you.

Spoiled brat is pretty harsh but they do sound like people who have never dealt with a retail job at 17 and had a customer yell at them. People who've worked in different places usually don’t find this stuff that serious. When there's conflict, whether in school, church, office job etc, you just have to handle it. It’s better to talk to them with your managers and sort things out like adults. It’s not the CEOs job to deal with petty stuff. I think the manager's comment was likely because of the drama Min Heejin stirred up, but the girls refuse to blame her for anything.

Imagine demanding something from the very big boss? I really like them but they showed how spoiled and entitled they are. They bring in money but I don't think theyre in the same level as the same as they think they are in their head. Anywhere you work, there's a ladder or process of addressing issues. The same message couldve been written and sent to Hybe without going on live broadcast.
what rookie group gets to live in a One Hannam apartment in their first 2 years? What company would reinstall a CEO that was planning to destroy Ador to reduce the value of the company to take NJ for cheap? Bang loaned MHJ tons of money so she could buy more shares and HYBE invested so much money in NJ for a 5%-7% contribution to HYBE’s overall earnings. If the parents of NJ saw all these mistreatment then shouldn’t they have brought it up with MHJ. It happened while she was there? New Jeans you should pay the penalty fee and leave HYBE.
They dismissed her as CEO but offered for her to stay as producer/director for the remaining 3 months or so. MHJ didn’t accept the offer. She declined, then resigned in late August. Unless this vid was made a while ago then ignore me lol. I’ll have more to comment I’m sure.
MHJ admitted to knowing about the live and supposedly tried to stop it, but did not report it which violates her contract as the live hurt Ador and Hybe. She knew the live would violate the girls' contracts too, so she's not very good at protecting them!
I'm not sure MHJ should be close to NJ though - I just found out that they have had sleepovers at her house?! Who the heck has a sleepover with their boss/CEO?! That's mad - there needs to be boundaries in place as the girls are subordinates in this situation, they are young, and this is happening outside of working hours where there is no one else there! Not to accuse MHJ of anything but what if this was a male CEO having sleepovers with the girls? There would be immediate and drastic action so why is this allowed?
I don't buy the bully manager story, or think it has been exaggerated. This happened months ago when MHJ was CEO. If she was upset she would have gone to her immediately to handle the situation. It's like they were trying to find any example to try to paint Ador/Hybe in a bad light. Honestly, I feel it's not painted them in a good light. You don't bring up an incident months later to new management you don't know or like when you could have your 'mother' deal with it.
They called the new CEO very rudely as well. NJ don't need to like her - who likes their boss - but you have to be respectful. Same with making demands to Hybe and BSH to reinstate MHJ. That's where they lost me. MHJ out!

HYBE will want their investment back so that's either they get their money from the girls via one of 2 ways make them work to the end of their contract or if the girls leave in which case the girls each girl will have to buy out their contract.

MHJ used NJ has her shield and that’s why Jungkook sent the message to stop it. HYBE didn’t twist his words. His message was clear just like MHJ numerous texts of planning a coup against HYBE while dragging BTS, LS, and another rookie group through the mud.

First and foremost, the title you have used is incorrect. The girls did not demand respect, they demanded their fake mom to be made the CEO again and for Hybe to not bully her.
Let me remind, this is the same woman who had left no stone unturned to bring massive hatred towards several hybe grps. This is the same woman who almost sabtaged a rookie grp's career. This is also that woman who used BTS's name and the Hybe grps money to make NJ and then betrayed them and made a public mockery of the very same company. And NJ want her reinstated!!
A company holds the right to make changes to their management and executives and they have no right to make that demand. And have no right to tell Hybe how they should run their company and labels
Food for thought for the NJ girls - before you demand any respect from anyone, always make sure that you give out respect first. How NJ voiced out their demands was very disrespectful, and they should know that. If any one of them would say that what they said and how they said them were okay, then they do not deserve where they are right now. Plus, they do not deserve to be treated with respect. They do not deserve to be looked up to by anyone, especially younger people, and they do not deserve to be in any industry.
All the fault is on the parents... They should've hired some outside Lawyers/advisors to get the truth.
This whole mess is between Bang Si-Hyuk and MHJ because he never wanted NewJeans to debut as Hybes first girl group unless he did it, and he's upset and resentful that MJH did it. He treats NewJeans like Cinderella and the other girl groups like the sisters. We shall see what happens but NewJeans is too marketable and loved by not only Korean fans but worldwide. They are just gonna have to leave Hybe to continue their dreams elsewhere.
