It’s more complicated than that! So when you buy the pin, you receive TWO pins. You have to scan one pin to link it to your account.. then you have to give the second pin to one friend. That friend will scan the pin and link it to their account. So the hearts will only show up because both of you have the matching pins, and you both linked those pins to your accounts
@@alexnguyen8569 oh sorry I forgot one more important point, in the friendship tree with that person, you select an icon to bind with that friend. Once you bind with that friend then you can use the pin with them. But it’s also possible to unlink with that person. And then in that case you can switch friends, but the second friend has to also own the same pin

No they are very high quality metal and can be pinned onto backpacks etc forever
