“There’s a Demon on Your Back” - St. John Bosco | Ep. 214

In 1865, Don Bosco gave some of his best Good Night Talks to the Oratory boys, which I’ve combined to make this episode. The saint talks about how he converted a hardened sinner on his deathbed and told of some incredible local apparitions of Our Lady that were suppressed by civil authorities. The most impressive part is that he was able to see Our Lady battling the influence of demons over boys that were enslaved to sin, which greatly boosted my confidence in her.
All of these Good Night Talks can be found in the first few chapters of Volume 8 of the Biographical Memoirs of Saint John Bosco.

haha true! coz of your comment i went to see for myself what u were sayin. Indeed!when he was almost finished Griffin (i believe thats his name) prepared to go up to Matthew! as soon as he heard "God bless you" he started walkin towards Matthew! amazing! Our dog, a small shitzu, has same mannerism. During our rosary prayer time. She knows when it's over! Just like Griffin in this video, she stands up at once and leaves us. lol will take a video of her next time!

Thanks for sharing - direct hit on the Hugh Hefners among us thinking "it's nothing" and that that sexual gratification is just another "side hobby"- it becomes harder to let go as these men exhibited, but realizing as you well said that "you cannot bribe death", and that sexual sin makes us think otherwise, because the addiction clouds us from the reality of sin and hell .
