What Saint John Bosco was shown is terrifying. Dear Blessed Mother intercede for us with thy Divine Son. Help us to love and worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in Thee! Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, graciously hear us! Ave Maria! Saint Joseph, Saint John the Baptist, Holy Angel of God, and Saint Michael the Archangel, please pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Jesus, I trust in You. Jesus, I trust in You. Jesus, I trust in You. Viva Cristo Rey!
I remember reading about this particular St. John Bosco dream about hell. On the same day, 2 hours later upon returning from daily mass, I accidentally burned my hand on the stove. It immediately reminded me of the furnace of hell: a million miles from hell's fire, and yet St. John Bosco's hand was burned. God bless.🙏 Edited: Oops, I skipped ahead. It's pretty easy to have interesting content when you're talking about a saint. And such an incredible miracle worker/visionary at that! I appreciate your enthusiasm for him, which I share (of course). Thank you and please keep up the prayers!
How eye-opening! Can you imagine what it must have felt like to go into hell and see his poor boys! How sad he must have been! Thank you for the amazing work you do through these videos! God bless!
It's a proverb of unknown origins, but it fits other scripture quotes on hell. St. Bernard of Clairvaux wrote, "L'enfer est plein de bonnes volontés et désirs" (hell is full of good wishes and desires).
A Merciful God meting out eternal unending torment? It is hard to believe. It may be true. I guess we'll all find out some day. Story is very reminiscent of Dante in some ways.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church on Hell: 1035 The teaching of the Church affirms the existence of hell and its eternity. Immediately after death the souls of those who die in a state of mortal sin descend into hell, where they suffer the punishments of hell, "eternal fire."617 The chief punishment of hell is eternal separation from God, in whom alone man can possess the life and happiness for which he was created and for which he longs
This is just a dream, hell is a state where the damn completely ignores God If Saint John Bosco cannot save his boys from Hell, then how he became a Saint then? A saint is not only securing a place in higher Heaven but winning as many souls as possible to God Remember, Heaven, rejoices when one soul enters it.
The one issue I have with this is that is says Hell is lit by God's just anger. This isn't how it works at all. Jesus put himself through hell, even descending into hell itself to keep us out. People who go to hell literally choose to go; all their lives and during their judgement. Heaven is eternity spent with God, and they hate God and want nothing to do with him. Hell is eternal because they will never ask God for forgiveness. They blaspheme and blame him. Many visionaries, including St John Bosco have described the lowest level of purgatory as having suffering like hell, but they are joyful. These are the souls who died with unconfessed mortal sins, but repented when Jesus himself appeared to them at the last instant to offer them mercy one last time. People who go to hell become part of it. If you offered them heaven they would spit in your face. They proudly embrace their suffering. They believe they are greatly superior to the humble souls in heaven.
You do realize you're contradicting a saint who actually saw hell, right?! I don't think any of us can relate because we haven't seen it. He was physically there and had the burns to prove it. God was angry when he whipped the money changers and drove them from the temple. It is righteous anger, holy anger. It's God for Pete's sake! If he's angry, it's for a good reason and totally merited.
@@donboscostories I think you misunderstood my message a bit. I'm not always that clear. I'm sure I'm not contradicting a saint. (well, his tone, not his substance.) I'm sure he experienced those things, but I have trouble with his tone and how distant and unloving he makes God appear. I have a problem of his interpretation of what he saw. I'm not questioning that he saw it. He wanted to keep his boys away from what he saw, so he tried to scare them straight. But to someone who has experienced suffering so horrible they begin to doubt in the love of God, as I have, this portrayal drives them far from God. St Bosco Saw hell. I felt it. I have to keep editing this because I keep writing a novel. I'm an old man. I've experienced a lot. Let's just say that Hell is everything that is "woke." It is self pity. It is being the victim. it is hatred of God. it is blaming Him for His reality. It is believing in God, but not wanting anything to do with him. It is distrusting God and always trying to find contradictions in him. I experienced Hell first hand, not the physical pain, but the inner torture, the terror and the rage. Once I learned it was hell I was experiencing it got worse because I knew what it was and I couldn't stop. Saintly priests, parents and learning to Trust and Love God a little more each day saved me, not the fear of being thrown into hell by an angry God. When someone talks about God like that it raises my hackles and I get defensive of the honor of God's name, like an angry Chihuahua trying to defend his master.
@@j2muw667 I do know that, but these stories make me think St John Bosco didn't. He loved his boys and wanted to save their souls, but I think he relied a bit too much on fear of punishment to get his message across.

Thank u Matthew for such a wonderful presentation.
Good teachings. They are so helpful to me

Explaining these during night time would be scary 😂
I think it was more of a meditation for me that night, alone in a dark room, more than anyone else. Haha!
Good evening brother .
Thank you for sharing. Is the proverb "hell is lined with good intentions" in the bible?
It's a proverb of unknown origins, but it fits other scripture quotes on hell. St. Bernard of Clairvaux wrote, "L'enfer est plein de bonnes volontés et désirs" (hell is full of good wishes and desires).
JESUS SAVE US
This reminds me of Dante's inferno.

People have free will. God himself can't change that. Watch the last episode on Monday and tell me whether you still think it's a dream.

And people choose hell by the things they choose to do daily- instead of doing Gods Will.
