@@MsHunne62 You don't have to but if you're going to use it for your business, it would be a good idea so no one can copy it and use it.
Awesome job! I make fake pies and when I use a clear pie dish, I paint the inside to look like the color of cooked dough. I do that for people like myself who would tip it upside down to see the bottom! you may want to paint the bottom of your jar red or whatever jam color you use. That way if someone turns it upside down, you won't see the toilet paper roll and inside of the glass, showing. just a tip

I’m hooked..love this faux baking.. I’m definitely learning ..but I have a question, can you use the “Air Dry Clay” in silicone molds?
You can! I recommend dusting the mold with a little cornstarch or baby powder before putting in your clay to keep it from sticking.

Can I use food dye or something else instead of alcohol ink and still get a transparent color for jelly? Trying to use something I already have as I only need a tiny bit for a jelly donut.

Would this toast be similar to making a slice of pound cake
Yes. Pound cake is a little smoother texture though.
Cassie what is the drying time frame on the silicone
It will depend how big of a container you use and how much silicone. The top of mine was completely dry in about 2 days. I'm sure humidity could also affect the drying time. I live in a pretty dry climate.

Can the jam be made with anything from dollar tree
I don't know of anything at dollar tree that will get the same results. You'd have to play around with some things and see what happens.

Thank you 🥰 I've noticed if I put it on wet foam clay it stays sticky sometimes. Otherwise it seems to dry normally.
@@CassieSmallwood thank you. I haven’t tried the gorilla brand yet, but next time I’m going to. Mine seems sticky no matter what it’s on but it’s my first tube so I didn’t have anything to compare it with.
@@dawnbozykowski1306 it does take a long time to dry when it has thickness to it also.
So paint before the toast is set ?
You can or you can wait until it's dry. Either way works 🙂
