Hello, I've been offered ME Robotics by UMD, but heard from current students and alumnis that, since the University is close to Washington DC most of the jobs are government related and hence prefer US nationals , how big of an issue would this be ???, and compared to NEU ( Ms Robotics ), which one would you suggest?? UMD or NEU and why ?? Thanks !!!!
Hi Ajay, When it comes to UMD, it is true that being located close to DC, there are more govt jobs than robotics companies. Both DMV (DC-Maryland-Virgina) & Boston area have few robotics companies. Choosing a university amongst the 2 will depend on your personal preferences. I would say compare all factors & make a decision. All the best :)
Hello Kajal, Myself Shubh Patel, I've been admitted to ASU for MS Robotics (specialisation in Systems Engg). Would you suggest that it's a good program? Also, I almost applied to UMCP but later I found out that I do not fulfill their IELTS speaking criteria and might have to give IELTS again or take their English course. So should I do so and go for UMCP or is ASU's robotics program as good as UMCP's? Thank you.
Hi, I got admit from University of Cincinnati for MEng Robotics program. Can you please tell me how the university is and does Cincinnati have robotics jobs.
Congratulations on the admit, Ikram. To be honest, I haven't heard about their course so don't know much. I recommend reaching out to your seniors via Linkedin. Wish you the best in your journey in Robotics :)
As far as I know, UMCP has a stronger curriculum for the software side of Robotics (AI,ML) and I'd like to get some insights about the mechanical part of the Robotics curriculum.
@@sandipsharans9455 You have 6 electives that you can take from any department including mechanical. It does have to be reasonable and related to your degree. So if you are interested in the mechanical side of things go to UMCP mechanical department and take a look at the courses offered.
Hello mam, will you suggest good unis in australia for ms in robotics with concentration on AI/ML ...btw i am from mechanical background ..but have interest in AI
Happy to see you helping aspiring students and inspiring them.

Hello, May I know how good the Robotics Program is when having a mechanical concentration?
Hi Sandip, not sure what you mean.

Which college is better for Master's in Robotics? UMD or WPI?
Depends on what factors are important to you.
