How much math is required for the programming field? I'm not very good at the moment. I'm currently in Intermediate Algebra learning about functional notation.
Depends on the programming but high end computer science uses alot of math. Actually, every stem field is math heavy. You want to get good at math and programming while also developing practical skills like actually building things. I would recommend using microcontroller.
So, I wanna be robotics engineer. But my University only offers mechanical engineering and mechatronic engineering TECHNOLOGY.... they don't offer pure mechatronic engineering.... what program should i choose... can someone help me please?
hey ! i have a question please do reply . what is the field in robotics called in which humanoid robots are made , or is that even a field ? if not then what should you take up to be a humanoid robotics engineer ?
I took up computer science and companys cry to get me to work for them! You can build robots all day long but if you dont have a person programming them...
You can write a fine program, but if the guy who designed and built the physical parts couldn't get the wheels straight, you'll be writing a program to compensate for the drift, which is stupid. Half of the fun of designing robots is in the mechanics. To design a robot that can climb over obstacles, or transform, or manipulate objects, or mimic different animals. Programming is not going to save you, if your robot falls into a gap and doesn't have the mechanism to get out.
Hello thanks for your video. I come from Germany and we have around 135 different mechatronics courses (Bachelor and Master). Would you also recommend me to study electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or is it better in this case to study mechatronics (B.Eng) directly? Maybe I would like to work in the USA in the future (if possible), so I ask. I have also already completed vocational training in mechatronics and therefore have 5 years of practical work experience. Thanks :)
I'm sure you've found your answer by now, but I'd say pick MEng for your bachelors and then specialize into mechatronics for your masters. It's what I'm gonna do

So I got confused and decided to do mechanical (unfortunately there isn't a concentration in mechatrs in my uni). So should I do mechatronics if I really enjoy it but as a technology degree or should I get a mechanical engineering degree and pursue mechatronics or robotics as graduate?? Thank you in advance!
This video was posted on my birthday 😂😂😂 , just wanted to ask can i have robotics or mechatronics as subfields with a physics or applied physics degree? And if so how many courses should i take to fill the gap ?? Please answer me am so desperate for help💔
At my school you couldn't really do mechatronics or robotics with a physics degree. That's not to say you couldn't take certain electives that related to mechatronics, BUT many of those electives required pre req courses that physics majors don't take. But check with the schools you are interested in cause I only am speaking from personal experience.
MajorPrep thank you so much, but according to your experience what do you think is the best mixture between physics as pure physics and engineering? robotic and electronic to be specific? And is there's any way to mix them with masters or phd? Sorry for bothering you so much and asking you all this question but am in a bit of a trouble here 😬😬💔
Probably unnecessary. If you want to do a bachelor's/master's combo then that could work but those majors are very different. If anything take mechanical engineering and then extra programming courses on the side. Or just do mechatronics/robotics.
You'll be smart and know a lot of difficult concepts for sure, but you'll not know the things that you actually need to know to design and make a robot in practice. I have a PhD in Chemical Physics and when I look at the FE exam for Electrical Engineering, I find that I have a lot of unfamiliar subjects I need to learn. I can go in with the confidence that I am capable of learning them though. But someone with a bachelors in electrical engineering is more ahead in terms of being able to build robots than a PhD in science.
I am student of electronics.. but I vastly interested in robotics and artificial intelligence.. is I am not applicable for that.. That's really disappointing me.. need solution..
Electronics is definitely applicable for robotics! At my school electronics was just a part of electrical engineering so when I say EE I'm really including electronics as well. It can apply to A.I. as well but computer science is the best route for that.

Can I learn it all?
Hello sir, Can I take mechatonics in B.tech after diploma in mechanical engineering
How mechatronics is connected with robotics, and can I work in robotics if I finished my mechatronics degree?
I always wonder if all aspects of physics is applied in robotics
Hi sir
I'm a third year student of electrical and electronics engineering. I am actually interested with mechatronics and robotic can I study master in mechatronics
I would like to specialize in explorer robots (bottom of the ocean, Mars, etc), but how do I get started in that?
I have done BE in mechanical
is it possible for me to do an MS in robotics ? Or do I need to do some additional courses for it?
Yes.
00:38 then the robot found the passport of one of the terrorists but it couldn't find the black box of the aircraft , they said it melted away !! overall very informative keep the good work up
My dream was to enter computer science and work as a data scientist, data engineer, software engineer, or AI and robotics...
But, if I enter and graduate from computer science.. Will I be able to build a robot ( build it AND program it ) or I need to get to another major?
If you also want to build it, you should look into mechanical or mechatronics engineering. Maybe do a bachelors in mechanical and a masters in computer science
Bro plss reoly me fast i have only 1 day to choose my branch.. Is robotics related to electronic and telecommunications engineering
No they are pretty different but have some overlap. In robotics you’ll see more programming, computer science, and mechanical engineering concepts
MajorPrep so which branch should be best except MechAtronics Bcoz i cant afford the fee... CE or electrical or electronic?
Probably electrical or computer
MajorPrep Sadly I have freezed in electronic and telecommunications.. I will repeat 1 year and take the admission in MechAtronics through scholarship... Btw keep uploading such interesting videos:)
@@darshanchoudhary5247 bro i took civil becz i dont have robotics in nepal not even mechanical , i want to do robotics after civil engineering what should i do
Wish I saw this video 5 years ago
what prerequisites are required or necessary before starting a Ph.D. in this field (I mean as coming from an Electrical and computer engineering major)?
You need to like writing and reading papers first and foremost
How much math is required for the programming field? I'm not very good at the moment. I'm currently in Intermediate Algebra learning about functional notation.
Depends on the programming but high end computer science uses alot of math. Actually, every stem field is math heavy. You want to get good at math and programming while also developing practical skills like actually building things. I would recommend using microcontroller.
So, I wanna be robotics engineer. But my University only offers mechanical engineering and mechatronic engineering TECHNOLOGY.... they don't offer pure mechatronic engineering.... what program should i choose... can someone help me please?
Thanks ......I asked for it
hey ! i have a question please do reply . what is the field in robotics called in which humanoid robots are made , or is that even a field ? if not then what should you take up to be a humanoid robotics engineer ?
I took up computer science and companys cry to get me to work for them! You can build robots all day long but if you dont have a person programming them...
Yes without brain a machine is useless
You can write a fine program, but if the guy who designed and built the physical parts couldn't get the wheels straight, you'll be writing a program to compensate for the drift, which is stupid. Half of the fun of designing robots is in the mechanics. To design a robot that can climb over obstacles, or transform, or manipulate objects, or mimic different animals. Programming is not going to save you, if your robot falls into a gap and doesn't have the mechanism to get out.
Is physics and comp sci a good combo?
It's what I'm gonna do
Darf ich fragen was es bei dir geworden ist? ^^ und deine Begründung dazu? Bin vor der selben Entscheidung
What if I say want to do all these 3 without going through mechatronics. Since my region does not have much mech colloeges they r just starting to introduce it now. So what should I do first.
overall do you think structural engineering is a better field or electrical engineering
What about Ironman suits
Can i do robotics after doing graduation in computer science
I'm doing a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, do you think I need to know programming as well? thinking of doing a minor in CS, but I'm not sure what kind of topics would be useful.
What about someone called robotics embedded systems
sir im really intrested in robotics can i take computer engineering
sir plz replay fast
i have to take a decision plz
comp sci
Wouldnt applied math also be viable?
I'm currently studying mechanical engineering, although I wanted to get into a mechatronics program for my bachelor and in my country mechatronics is mostly a technology program and not eng. So I got confused and decided to do mechanical (unfortunately there isn't a concentration in mechatrs in my uni). So should I do mechatronics if I really enjoy it but as a technology degree or should I get a mechanical engineering degree and pursue mechatronics or robotics as graduate?? Thank you in advance!
i ma majoring in computer sysetems engineering . is it a good choice for robotics
what about electronics engineering ?
Im majoring in NANOMACHINES SON
Sorry for bothering you so much and asking you all this question but am in a bit of a trouble here 😬😬💔
What r ur thoughts on double majoring in comp sci and mechanical eng?
Probably unnecessary. If you want to do a bachelor's/master's combo then that could work but those majors are very different. If anything take mechanical engineering and then extra programming courses on the side. Or just do mechatronics/robotics.
Zach Star okay thank you!
I'm curious what section of engineering that works on vr and ar?
maybe mechatronics
Can a mechatronics engineer build a cnc machine and machine tools
Would a diploma or bachelor in science help to work towards most engineering degrees?
You'll be smart and know a lot of difficult concepts for sure, but you'll not know the things that you actually need to know to design and make a robot in practice. I have a PhD in Chemical Physics and when I look at the FE exam for Electrical Engineering, I find that I have a lot of unfamiliar subjects I need to learn. I can go in with the confidence that I am capable of learning them though. But someone with a bachelors in electrical engineering is more ahead in terms of being able to build robots than a PhD in science.
Can you make a new mechatronics video?
What about software engineering?
I am student of electronics.. but I vastly interested in robotics and artificial intelligence.. is I am not applicable for that.. That's really disappointing me.. need solution..
roni takeover algorithm your way into your desired field...
Dante Falls what do you mean..
Electronics is definitely applicable for robotics! At my school electronics was just a part of electrical engineering so when I say EE I'm really including electronics as well. It can apply to A.I. as well but computer science is the best route for that.
Can a comp engg do masters in robotic engg
masters degree in robotics technology
