Wacky Favorites.... One of the zillions of commercials I had stuck in my head for a long time....

Finally found the Wacky Favorites commercial (had no idea that was the name of it), that's been stuck in my memory for a long time, I was a child and I did not understand what was being said (English is not my first language), and this was when we got cable at home.

Surprisingly, yes. But cassettes & CD's had long supplanted records in popularity by 1995.

Everyone does. Lol. If you watched any of Ted Turner's stations from the late '70s to the early 2000s, you would see at least one, if not more, of these ads during every commercial break. I wonder how much of his massive fortune he amassed off of sales commissions from selling these albums and other crap. 😂

Don't forget about the "Wacky Favorites" commercial. The main announcer was wacky, and his name was Wendell Craig. The ending announcer was not quite as wacky. He only announced the toll-free number for that commercial and his name was Vic "Low Tone" Caroli from North Country.

1:57 That 1-800 number is almost engraved in my brain.....almost like 1-800-257-1234, 1-900-909-9900, and 1-800-876-5353.

The first two phone numbers made Ted Turner millions and millions of dollars. One from an endless blitz of ads for records and other useless junk for over 20 years, and the other from the WCW hotline. 😂

Heh. This chick seemed like she was in every other commercial while I was scanning through my tapes. She was in a Head & Shoulders, Secret Deoradant & Oil of Olay commercial in '95. They're all scattered about my videos. She's easy on the eyes, but I got tired of seeing her.
