wow... seeing the commercial for TMC it makes me remember seeing those commercials and being intrigued by them. i'm thinking it was because it was in black and white. i have no clue. but TMC looked so cool. lol. plus these commercials seem really long and not as "busy" as the commercials are nowadays.
The taste-the-taste-the-taste is gonna MOOOOOOOVVE YAAAA! I also fondly remember it and other Wrigley gum commercials of the time. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon it on my tapes.
Im such a loser, but when I watch old vintage TV and Commercials from the 80's and 90's during my childhood I tear up. Back then to me TV was better, commercials were better, and life was better. Your a kid/teenage and you really have no cares in the world, you can have fun and be free, and sadly some kids (like me) werent properly prepared for what was to come. Adulthood. Having to work and pay bills, and if you dont have the the best education, they jobs you get dont pay enough to pay bills, so you spend your days miserable, just trying to get by, no chance to enjoy life. And you wish everyday you could just go back. And life goes by so fast, that your childhood just doesnt seem to last very long, yet when your an adult time drags on and on and on because all you do is spend your time working and worrying. UNLESS your rich, or have that good paying job (even if your well educated doesnt always = good $). Why is being a kid so short.
I'm here because I was looking for "Vidal Sassoon" commercials that feature the Academy in them. For some reason, I can't find the Academy commercial versions as a video on their own on RUclips. As a "Media Studies" major in college, there are some commercials that aired on the CN at the time that made NO sense to air on. This must've been a Ted Turner decision. Either way, commercials like the Vidal Sassoon academy were entertaining to me, even back when these aired.
I was at the grocery store the other day and thought of the same exact Berry Berry Kix commercial shown in the vid, so I thought I'd give them a shot. WORST WASTE OF MONEY EVER. There's no fruit-shaped pieces any more and it tastes like the ass end of a stalk of corn.
@NitekMuscle I don't consider the Nomad as "defining", just another ill-fated piece of hardware that added to the glut of systems Sega was selling in '95 (Genesis, Game Gear, Sega CD, Sega CDX, 32X, Saturn, Nomad). They would cut down to just Saturn by the end of 1995. :/
@Ramal123 Some people are stupid enough to think things like the Nintendo 64 are "vintage" game consoles, so... Yeah. classic misuse of a word meant for things far gone.
That kangaroo from Dunkaroo reminds me of Mr Thickley from Taz-mania. This is when cartoons where fun! The 90's ruled!
I remember this stuff/commercials when i was five years old, man time flies when ur having fun as a kid!
The mountain biker Juicy Fruit commercial I remember soooooo well... god, it has been too long since I last saw it on TV.
It is difficult for me to believe that 1995 is vintage now.
i loved commercials back then
For the Tootsie Pop commercial, how many licks is a classic. It kept running on TV till someone found the answer.

Damn better blocks are cool! AND they're better!
It was way more fun to watch commercials in the 80s and 90s.
Only Japan got these kind of commercials nowadays.
