I too felt nervous about the prospective of sharing it with some of my friends who are maybe Muslims as there is this confusion about racism and Islamophobia and abuse. I also feel how it resonate in me about trauma in families and how it is difficult to speak about it with other members, how they will feel the need to protect the group even if it means denying the trauma one of the member has encountered, it means they can deny their own vulnerability and own trauma eventually too….
