Glad you enjoyed your day Glynn, I don’t spent nearly enough time around Rivington, I only live down the road in Horwich too, right in the centre near the shops.
I’ve always struggled with compositions when it comes to woodland photography, it’s just too messy, too much to try and pick out that one thing that stands out. I am hoping to do some mushroom photography, something different like using light trails and even composites like putting fairies in the scene or something.
Love your images here mate, done really well.
I really need to get back on the meet ups so we can actually meet.
P.S. There’s quite a few reservoirs mate, not just one.

Yeah it was a nice little trip out while being solo, nice a peaceful ahahah. Yeah, I find it tricky to find a decent composition but just got to find that special moment. Mushroom photography will be cool, you doing some macro shots? Oh yeah, I've done a couple of fairy composites on photoshop. & thanks man, glad you like the photos, I'm pretty chuffed with them too for the first time properly focusing on woodland photography. Yeah, we do mate, not been to a MPC photowalk in a very long time, need to get back to it - to just meet up with others.
