how the city lights reflect off the wet surfaces create a mesmerizing, almost cinematic atmosphere. You’ve turned a rainy day into a visual masterpiece, highlighting the city’s charm 🩵
Wow, i love your photos of Hamburg! I always struggle to motivate myself to shoot in gray rainy weather because my shots seem so dull compared to nice weather but you really captured the vibe of it beautifully and i loved to see your photos of my rainy city!
Thank you so much Yannick! It means a lot! Honestly, when you live in Germany, you don’t have much choice but to embrace the gray and rainy weather😂I’ve learned to make the best of it, and it can actually be really cool if you lean into the mood. ☺
This video is so cozy, idk why for some reason rainy shooting gives me such cozy vibes. Such great work as usual Nancho! Love the music choice in this edit :)
Rain is definitely cozy for me too, I love the mood it creates. ❤ Thank you SO much for watching; I really appreciate your support! So glad you liked the music too, it always takes me forever to find the perfect one, so this means a lot! 😊
A great video as usual! Thanks for that one. I'm so in love with Hamburg myself haha Love your attention to detail that many miss, especially on rainy photo walks!
Some very interesting shots. They bring back memories of my visit to Hamburg some years ago. But why don't you use a lens hood? It would not only provide protection against rain drops on the lens (at least to some degree) but also against bumps.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! 🫶 Tbh I stupidly forgot it at home. Thankfully, I had a lens cleaner with me and used an umbrella for most of the shoot, so it worked out pretty well in the end. ☺
Thanks for watching! That’s so cool! I really hope you get the chance to visit Germany soon, it’s such a beautiful and diverse place. Do you already have a specific area or city in mind to explore? ☺
@@Itsnancho The family is from Udenhausen so I'd like to see that. And I shoot Leica so that puts Wetzler on the map. Definitely Berlin. Honestly, there are so many places that I'd probably need a few months. 😀 Hamburg, Munich, Dusseldorf, Bonn.
So nice. I've never been to Wetzlar either. Even though I shoot with Canon, it would be absolutely amazing to visit the Leica Museum. However, I did see the Leica Shop/Gallery with a gallery opening by a Georgian photographer (Natela Grigalashvili) in Nürnberg. Also a great city to visit not far from Munich. But yeah, like you said, there are so many places to visit in Germany, so better stay here a little longer to enjoy most of it. 😊
Nice one Nancho. 😉 Imagine going to Hamburg and catching a day of rain... what are the odds? 😂 One tipp, just me: take the car shot from above for the thumbnail. Nostalgic vibe, think that works better.

I always say that Berlin with over 900 bridges has more bridges than Amsterdam and Venice combined. I wonder whether Berlin or Hamburg has more bridges
@@carlie9584 Agree! White backgrounds just hit different, so clean and they make photos pop. Yeah, maybe not the best for late-night watching, but I like it anyway 😅

The camera is totally fine. I was using an umbrella, so it only got lightly wet occasionally, but it can handle that without any issues. :)
