Scenes of Poetry - EP1 // When I was the forest
Просмотров 2 тыс.2 месяца назад
I’ve always loved poems, and this time I decided to create a visual journey for one that really resonates with me - "When I Was the Forest" by Meister Eckhart. It’s all about letting go of the self and dissolving into the divine, where the lines between nature, spirit, and self fade away, and true love emerges. I poured my heart into bringing this poem to life through my video, and I hope it re...

Film & Digital Photography in Greece
Thank you, so many beautiful photos 🎉🎉🎉. In 2025, I am going all in on vintage Zuiko lenses. Most will be used on my OM-1 (mirror-less, not film) camera, as I believe that this camera really maximises the resolving power of these lenses. One 28mm f3.5 lens has been paired with an Olympus E-M1 for B&W street photography.
Wow 😲
My fave city !! Great work !
Thank you so much 😊🫶 Glad you enjoyed it! HH is def one of my favourite cities in Germany too!
@Itsnancho on my Euro travel list next year 😁
Man I love your color grading. If you ever want to do a collab, let me know! I'm not the photographer you are, but I enjoy it. I spent the day making photos in Old St. Matthäus Churchyard.
Thank you so much! Will do! I really appreciate the compliment. St. Matthäus Churchyard sounds like an interesting spot to capture :)
@ well I recorded a video about it so you should subscribe and watch when it comes out! 😊
@ will do! 😊

What focal length lens are you using? Nice!

Stralsund is a cute little town. I made a video there over the summer as well
I love the nifty fifty!
Great photos, I would have loved to see the ISO, shutter speed & aperture listed on each photo.
Depending on the lighting conditions ISO ranged from 400 to 1000, aperture was set to f/2.8, and the shutter speed varied between 1/6 and 1/60. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching! :)
I always say that Berlin with over 900 bridges has more bridges than Amsterdam and Venice combined. I wonder whether Berlin or Hamburg has more bridges
@@SethinBerlin HH has over 2400 bridges 😊

I've been so uninspired with my photography the last year or so. I'm glad I found your channel :)

Thanks!
That's so good ❤👍
Thanks! 😊
Beautiful photos, Beautiful Model!
Many thanks! ☺️
Great pictures. I shoot in Berlin at night too sometimes. Often with analogue cameras, handheld. Can be a bit shaky. Unlike during the day, a city at night usually looks great even when the weather is bad I think.
Agree! Nighttime in Berlin has such a unique vibe. Do you have a favourite film you like to shoot with at night? Thanks for watching! 🙏
@@Itsnancho I've used various, 400asa Ilford HP5. But I've also used 200 asa colour from Adox or Kodak, or even Ektar100!
@@inicap Wow, crazy that 200 or even 100 film handles low-light scenes good. I really want to try shooting film at night sometime. Seems quite challenging.
Best photographer 👏🏼👏🏼
You’re the best! 🙏🫶
Great idea 💡 sometimes first instinct is best and 5 minutes is enough.
True! It was definitely stressful tho 😅 But challenges like that really help us grow, so I enjoyed it at lot! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!

Love it. I will add Hamburg to my travel list for street photography
Great choice! Hamburg is a very beautiful city for street photography. Thanks for watching!
Your photography beautifully showcases the vibrant yet subtle colors of Iceland’s winter. The way you bring out the contrast between the icy landscapes and the ethereal light is truly breathtaking. I hope one day we’ll get to see the desert through your eyes-it would undoubtedly be just as breathtaking. Keep going Nancho ❤️

Sehr sehr schön. Ist euch gelungen. Nur den Titel würde ich wieder ändern… 😊 Iceland photo vlog with a camper van in every possible weather! oder 3 days in Iceland in every possible weather condition | photo vlog So in der Art. Ich würde den Titel so machen: Iceland photo vlog: 3 days, a camper van and every possible weather condition! Wie gesagt, ansonsten wie immer sehr sehr schön. Schön gefilmt, super Fotos. Stimme ist toll, Musik ist besser eingepegelt. Sehr sicher gesprochen. 👏🏻👍🏻 LG und gute Nacht.
Danke dir für die lieben Worte und dass du dir so viele Gedanken gemacht hast. Ich werde deine Tipps auf jeden Fall beim nächsten Mal im Kopf behalten. ☺ LG
Absolutely breathtaking ☄️ Perfect shots & storytelling 💛

Aww 🥰 this means so much! Thank you Anu ❤️🔥
I wonder if there is some setting problem on the initial upload. I am seeing only 480p max resolution from youtube.
@DouglasKnisely Yes, it was due to the "premiere," but you should now be able to watch it in 4K. Please refresh the page one more time. Thank you for your support and for watching! 🙏🫶
@ Good video! I like very much your focus on Iceland in a more realistic and human level, rather than just a collection of epic trophy photos that all look alike.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I really wanted to capture Iceland in a more personal and authentic way, so I’m really happy it came across that way! ☺️
such an underrated channel. Def my fav video of yours yet
Thank you Sumnuuu! 💕
Ah nice, I wanted to comment on your other video if you will travel to some exotic place for photography video and guess what, you are already at one.
You guessed it right! 😊Iceland has been on my bucket list for so long, and I’m so excited to finally share a photography video from there. Just two days to go!
Looking forward to more traveling+photography videos. Are you a professional photographer?
I like that 24-70 lens, but isn’t it bulky for travel? Do you consider using something more compact like Fujifilm or even a GR3x?
@@smalllebowski Yes, I’m a professional photographer, and I totally get your point! The 24-70 lens is definitely on the bulkier side, but I love its versatility, especially for capturing a range of styles during travel, so I don't mind carrying it around :)
I like this type of video, photographer exploring a new place.
Happy to hear that 😊 Thanks for watching!
Some very interesting shots. They bring back memories of my visit to Hamburg some years ago. But why don't you use a lens hood? It would not only provide protection against rain drops on the lens (at least to some degree) but also against bumps.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! 🫶 Tbh I stupidly forgot it at home. Thankfully, I had a lens cleaner with me and used an umbrella for most of the shoot, so it worked out pretty well in the end. ☺
Oh wow Lewis has some serious modelling skills! The one on 2:53 is🔥Great portrait shots from the photographer as well❤
Right?! Thank you so much for watching!!🫶
Wow, i love your photos of Hamburg! I always struggle to motivate myself to shoot in gray rainy weather because my shots seem so dull compared to nice weather but you really captured the vibe of it beautifully and i loved to see your photos of my rainy city!
Thank you so much Yannick! It means a lot! Honestly, when you live in Germany, you don’t have much choice but to embrace the gray and rainy weather😂I’ve learned to make the best of it, and it can actually be really cool if you lean into the mood. ☺
how the city lights reflect off the wet surfaces create a mesmerizing, almost cinematic atmosphere. You’ve turned a rainy day into a visual masterpiece, highlighting the city’s charm 🩵
